SEPARATING ANXIETY FROM EXPECTATION. Everything in the kingdom of God answers to keys. The right key must be used to get the right result. Proverbs 23:18 says that surely there is an end and your expectations shall not be cut off. This means that God grants the expectations of His Children. That is why what you don't expect cannot be experienced. But there is a thin line between expectation and anxiety. The bible says be anxious for nothing. Philippians 4:6. But how can someone expect without being anxious? As I was meditating on why God's people experience continuous delay. God brought this word to me. He said; MANY OF THE EXPECTATIONS OF HIS CHILDREN HAVE TURNED INTO ANXIETIES THAT IS WHY THERE IS A DELAY. This word inspired me to write this message. He further said that expectation merges hope and faith together, while anxiety merges doubt and fear together. So there is a problem. I then asked Him how one can expect without being anxious because it was His word that said that expectation delayed makes the heart sick. Proverbs 13:12. He now laughed and asked me. If the president of your nation promised me a car in two weeks time do I become anxious over it or patiently wait for it. I said I will patiently wait for it because the status of a president is far more than cars. Then I got it, I believed in the capacity of the president so anxiety or worry is not in my heart and even if the two weeks passes all I have to do is to remind him and it will be done instantly. For expectation not to turn to anxiety you must believe in the almighty capacity of God. If you cannot doubt the president of your nation why doubt God the president of the universe. Trust God so much and wait. When there is no more anxiety, your expectation will manifest. The key is this; Expect it but don't be anxious over it, don't lose your peace or sleep over it. YOUR TONGUE IS THE CONTROLLER OF YOUR LIFE.

There was no light in the beginning and God said LET THERE BE LIGHT AND THERE WAS LIGHT. Your tongue is the most powerful part of your body. It cannot be tamed. You can build your destiny with it or scatter your destiny by it. You cannot be better than your words. Life and death is not in the hand of the devil, life and death is not in the hand of God. God placed the power of life and death in your tongue. Proverbs 18:21. You are to direct your life by your words. What words does to your life is what fuel does to a car. By your words you go forward and by your words you remain on one spot or go backward. Every word you speak, jokingly or seriously is a seed. It is planted and will surely bear fruit according to the law of seed time and harvest. Genesis 8:22. The best prayer to pray right now is to uproot every negative tree growing to make you groan in life due to negative words. Matthew 15:13. Begin to uproot them, you are not poor, you are rich desiring to be richer, you are not a failure, you are a success aiming for higher realms of success. WHO IS RULING THE WORLD? It is not God,if it were, bad things would not have been happening, it is not the devil either, Jesus already took that leadership from him. But it is man. The earth was given to man. It is time for you to take your place.

Many people think that it is the devil that is ruling the world, it is not true, he was when Adam fell by disobedience, but Jesus took that leadership from him through His death, burial and resurrection. Others believe that it is God that is ruling the world. This is also not true. God is not ruling the world, Man is the one ruling the world. God gave the earth to man to have dominion over it, that assignment still stands.

It is true that the devil is the god of this world, 2nd Corinthians 4:4. But this "world" does not mean the earth space as in location, it means worldliness, that is SIN. The devil is the god of worldliness or sin. God owns the earth. Psalm 24:1. But He is not ruling it, He is only ruling the CHURCH.

It appears evil is prevailing on the earth today because there are more evil people than good people. The devil knows that it is man that is ruling the earth, so he manipulates, entices and controls men that have rejected the LORDSHIP of Jesus Christ to cause problems. On the other hand, God expects the church to rule the world. Revelations 5:10. He has made us Kings and Priests that we can reign on the earth. We are the light of the world and the salt of the earth. The only hope for the world today is the CHURCH. Men and Women, boys and girls have to start taking their place. Yesterday is gone, it will never show up again, so also your past is gone, it can never show up again. But many people carry their pasts with them. They have refused to let go, no matter how painful, your past experiences are OR how sweet it may have been. IT IS GONE! You must let it go, you must move on. THERE ARE CERTAIN THINGS YOU CANNOT CHANGE.

A wise man told God to give him the serenity to accept the things he cannot change,the boldness or courage to change the things he can and the wisdom to know the difference.What a prayer!There are certain things that you cannot change,I am not saying that God cannot change it,but you cannot change it for now.If God decides not to change it for a reason
best known to him,what will you now do?God is a master planner and never wastes anything.If He knows that you can learn something from that situation you are going through that will be of great benefit to you,Him and the world around tomorrow,He may allow it.

Even when His only begotten son was going through hell on the cross,He turned His back because the benefit far out-shined the pain.There are a lot you can change by making necessary adjustment,but the greatest wisdom is to know the difference between what you can change and what you cannot change.We most times spend so much time trying to change what we cannot,we spend resources,time,energy and emotion only to discover at the end that we cannot change it,we can only go through it.Can you force an orange tree to bear fruit when it is not in its season?

When you are going through a situation that you have not been able to change,even after you have done all,just relax there may be a benefit in that situation that you need to obtain.I call it the gold in the gutter or the bread inside the bitter.Once you apply the wisdom of trying to find out the benefit in the situation,then you will see something you have never seen before.

IN EVERYTHING GIVE THANKS.

It is quite normal to give thanks to God when things are going well. But when it is happening otherwise, giving thanks seems difficult. But the bible commanded that we should give thanks to God in EVERYTHING. Good or bad, acceptable or unacceptable. 1 thessalonians 5:18. Why must we give thanks to God in all things? If you are not giving God thanks then you are indirectly blaming HIM. You don't have to speak words of blame to God before you know that you are blaming Him. Just withhold thanks from Him and you have blamed Him. God is both the giver and the preserver of life. If you are alive it is because God preserved you. For that alone He deserves your thanks. Thanksgiving can automatically turn a challenge into a testimony. Jesus gave thanks and five loaves of bread with two fishes was more than enough to feed above five thousand people so much so that 12 baskets remained. Jesus gave thanks and Lazarus came back to life. A man had an industrial accident; a fan cut his hand severely that it was only a tiny flesh that held it together. The man screamed with a loud voice giving God thanks and the hand was instantly healed, I mean it was as if there was no accident. Thanksgiving will multiply any little, it will revive any dead thing in your life. Thanksgiving is the highest demonstration of faith. WHAT SHALL IT PROFIT A MAN IF HE GAINS THE WHOLE WORLD AND LOSE HIS OWN SOUL.

The greatest profit, you and I can make is to get to heaven. Death is a transition program to eternity. There are two places for eternity; heaven or hell. How you live your life on earth determines where you will end. The greatest mistake is to doubt the existence of heaven and hell. If you cannot doubt the existence of the earth, why doubt the reality of the heaven.

The best investment is to live your life for Jesus while you are still alive. You have just one life to live, there is no second chance after death. You either report in heaven or hell. If you have not repented, now is the time to do so. The only thing that matters to God is how you live your life. You have lost all, if you gained the whole world but missed heaven. THE STORM MUST END TODAY

Was there any storm that lasted more than a moment in the life of Jesus Christ? No storm will last more than a moment in your life in Jesus name. Storms are not forever, they are meant to be over sooner than you imagine. Jesus was in a boat and there was a storm, He woke up from His sleep and spoke to the storm and there was a great calm. He had the understanding that when you speak to a storm it must obey.

Many people speak and are still speaking about the storm. You are to speak to it not about it. The more you speak about that storm the more it rages, but when you speak to it, it must obey you. Everybody in the world have challenges, what you do to your's is what determines when it will end.

Jesus said to the storm, PEACE BE STILL. The disciples with him were trying to proffer physical solution to a problem with a spiritual root, they were trying to make the boat light, they were bailing water out of the boat, but Jesus was sleeping, He was at rest, He was not in worry. Why? Because He understood that whatever you speak to (not about) will obey. Why SOME Christians still fornicate. YOU CANNOT KILL THE FLESH YOU CAN ONLY DENY IT.

If you are a Christian please read this carefully. These are the reasons why some Christians still fornicate and masturbate EVEN AFTER praying.
When you got born again it is only your spirit that got saved, your body and your mind remained the same.
So you need to Renew your mind by Gods word daily and apply it always to put your body under subjection, otherwise you will see yourself doing what you don’t want to do. Romans 12 vs. 1 and 2.
Your mind changes gradually with constant renewal, don’t let the devil distract you from reading the bible everyday.

You must know that you cannot kill the flesh but you can deny it daily from getting what it likes. Until it submits to the spirit which is the master.
You must keep the right company, evil communication CURRUPTS good manners; it is easier for the world to win you than for you to win them.

Don’t allow your mind to be blank at anytime or idle. Practice constant meditation even the Buddhist and Hindus know the power of meditation.
Mind what you look at even if you see a nude photo please do not look back at it again, that is where you ALWAYS slip, LOOKING A SECOND TIME.
Believe that it is only the Blood of Jesus that can help you. So use it EVERY time.
Temptations are real; it is not bad, but you can build a capacity to neutralize it by living the scriptures.
Don’t regret your mistake for long because you will go back again stand up and move on, you will not fall again.
Don’t try to conquer fornication it is stronger than you, don’t resist it flee from it. You can resist the devil but you must flee fornication, run like Joseph did when tempted by potiphars wife. Do not be like Samson that thought physical might can help him with Delilah.

God does not test u with the devils tool, So God cannot lead you into temptation, it was what you use to like when you were still in the world that the devil uses to entice you. You are tempted when you are drawn to your own lust.

It is easier for your past to hunt you but focus your mind more on your future, from the pages of SCRIPTURES.
Do not celebrate the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life.
Do not be self righteous, see your righteousness as that of God and His mercies, do not condemn your neighbor living in sin.

Know that anytime you sin something in you dies so by the reason of the blood I command every dead thing to rise up, I prophesy your permanent deliverance, no more rising and falling, it is now rising and rising the path of the just is like a shiny light that shines more and more. THE VERY PRESENT HELP IN TIMES OF TROUBLE, HELP US TODAY.

It is important for you to know that no man can succeed in life or destiny without divine helpers. Destiny originates from God and will require His assistance to succeed and prosper. Romans 8:29-30. Destiny helpers are those divinely assigned and empowered by God to help you achieve your God given destiny.

THE POWER TO GET WEALTH.

Deuteronomy 8:18 says; FOR YOU SHALL REMEMBER THE LORD YOUR GOD, FOR IT IS HE THAT GIVES YOU THE POWER TO GET WEALTH...

Beloved, there is a power to get wealth and it resides only with God. He is the owner of the earth, the silver and the gold. Wealth does not include only money, but health, protection, peace, joy, honour, wisdom and eternal life. What is the power to get wealth. The power to get wealth is tithing. The tithe is compulsory. It is ten percent of your increase. The tithe is compulsory because whether you refuse to pay it to God, you some how pay it indirectly through treatments for sicknesses and diseases, payment for losses and misfortunes. It is either you pay it to God willingly or the devil takes it from you unknowingly. The above scripture says; that you shall remember the LORD. To remember the LORD is to give HIM ten percent of what comes into your life as increase. Giving God 10 percent multiplies the remaining 90 percent that it results in wealth. You also get other fringe benefits like divine health, divine provision, protection, divine ideas and many other things that money cannot buy.

But why is it that many don't pay tithe, even those that pay it don't pay it regularly and correctly, and some pay it but with the wrong attitude. The first thing you must know about tithing that will give you grace to pay it no matter the amount is to understand that it is not your own. If your receive 10,000; do not see the complete 10,000 as your's, 9000 belongs to you while 1000 belongs to God. Do not calculate the tithe as your money, that is where many people miss it. Malachi 3:10, Matthew 23:23.

You may be asking, why tithe? God does not need our money but we need His continual blessing. Whatever God gives you, He gave you less 10 percent. If He gave you 5000, He actually gave you 4500 expecting you to put 500 into His work here on earth through churches and ministries that feed you spiritually. With this understanding, tithing becomes a thing of Joy because God loves a cheerful giver. The more you are committed to tithing, the more God brings opportunities your way to make more money so that more money will be used for His work here on earth. What is making you feel that you will not triumph? Victory is sure because before the challenge came, God already prepared the way out. Nothing humiliates challenges like joy. The moment you rejoice over any challenge you have already overcome. The two major aims of challenges is either to steal your joy or to promote you. If it succeeds in stealing your joy then you won't be promoted in life. But if you keep your joy, then you will not only overcome but you will also be promoted and compensated. JOHN 16:33. When life promotes you, your level changes in all ramifications. So keep your joy so that you will overcome. It is just joy you need to overcome any challenge. What joy does is that it engenders inspiration that will open your eyes to see the way out and your heart to discover the solution. Joy also attracts God's presence. Psalm 16:11. RHEMA FOR THE NOW.

The written word is logos, while the revealed word is rhema. The written word is information while the spoken word is revelation. It is revelation that leads to manifestation. God have spoken once, twice have we heard. Psalm 62:11. The first hearing is the information you get by reading the written word(bible). The second hearing is what God reveals to your spirit through the written word. Once you catch a rhema and act on it, your testimony is sure. What you need is rhema, keep reading and meditating till you catch rhema. Rhema can raise the dead back to life, rhema can heal any sickness or disease, rhema can end any frustration, delay or stagnation. Today you will catch rhema from this scripture that I shall examine.

ZECHARIAH 4:6 says;...Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, saith the LORD of hosts. What God is trying to tell you is that it is not by the drugs, even though you may take them, but it is by His Spirit that that sickness or disease will go. It is not by your salary or connections, it is by His spirit that that business or project will flourish. Everything is by His Spirit, once you begin to walk and live a life of the Spirit,God begins to do what He knows best and that is to give you your testimonies. It is not by your discipline that you will overcome that habit, it is by walking in the spirit. This is only when you will not fulfill the lust of the flesh. Christianity can be frustrating when you don't walk and live a spiritual life. That testimony will come today, but it will be by God's Spirit, so connect to the Spirit of God by thinking scriptures and singing spiritual songs in your heart. If you think you can get it by your power, then God will withdraw His helps. Commit God today by submitting to the Holy Spirit.

YOU CAN DECIDE NOT TO BE BITTER EVEN WHEN IT IS JUSTIFIABLE.

Bitterness, as justifiable as it may appear will never take you to the top, it will either take you to the bottom or keep you on one spot. Many people are where they are today because some time ago, someone some where offended them that they have refused to forgive, they claim they have forgiven but when they remember the issue bitterness fill their hearts.

Until bitterness goes, life cannot become better. Joseph would not have become the prime minister in a strange land if he had bitterness towards his brothers, Job would not have received his restoration if he had been bitter towards God. Job 13:15. Many people are bitter towards God because what He promised had not yet come to pass. Listen to this; BITTERNESS DISQUALIFIES YOU AND DOES YOU MORE HARM THAN GOOD. DO YOU KNOW THAT BITTERNESS ALSO GIVES YOUR OFFENDERS AN EDGE OVER YOU. Because the devil wants you to continue in bitterness, he will make your offenders to keep making progress in what they do so as to get you more bitter and keep you on one spot. I believe the stagnation of 38 years of the impotent man by the pool of bethesda was because of bitterness and not just because had no faith. John 5:1-8. I know this because when Jesus asked him if he wanted to be healed he said there was no man to put him in, because nobody helped him, he became bitter and so was stagnated. Forgive your offenders because that is only when God can intervene. Forgive them because by doing so, you are indirectly heaping hot coals on their heads. GOD MAKES ALL THINGS BEAUTIFUL IN HIS TIME.(The question is when is His time?)

God does things according to His time. Since He is the ALL-SEEING and ALL-KNOWING GOD,He makes all things beautiful in His time. The most common question people want to know is WHEN IS HIS TIME? Because ordinarily if you know the exact time, then you will patiently wait for it without anxiety. But it will also interest you to know that you will also be waiting for it without faith. And without faith it is impossible to please God.Hebrews 11:6. You are to wait in faith, not because you now know the time. God's time is therefore the faith time. It can be anytime, but one thing is compulsory, you must be operating in faith and not in sight. The exact time is when your faith is total. When your faith stops wavering, when your faith is void of doubts, fears and anxieties, when your faith is full of patience, when what God does or does not do no more shakes your faith. the exact time is when you completely believe even when you cannot see the signs, the exact time is when you still believe even with the negative signs, doctors reports or reports of men. The exact time is when you still believe even when the dead-line has passed. The exact time is when you still believe even when the expected time has passed. Faith may be painful but it will eventually be gainful.

Satan fears the power of your faith, He knows that God enacted the Law of faith in His word. If thou canst believe all things are possible to him that believes. Mark 9:23. So he specialises in attacking your faith with signs and symptoms, he can even use dreams to scare you. Beloved if there is one thing you must do is to stand strong on the word of God that can never fail. Faith is a school, the test is there, but if you pass, the testimony will surface. So I counsel you as a servant of God to BELIEVE GOD WITHOUT DOUBTING AND YOU WILL BE RECEIVING WITHOUT EVEN KNOWING, UNTIL YOU CANNOT HELP BUT NOTICE THE HAND OF GOD UPON YOUR LIFE. WHY THE DELAY?

It is vital for you to understand that nothing just happens; an object assumes a state of rest until a force is applied. To think that delay is normal is very abnormal. All you just need to come out of delay is the RIGHT UNDERSTANDING. Proverbs 13 vs. 15 says that good understanding gives favour.
