No excuses

Buhari, is also recycled. His time has been up a long time ago.

@ayubam, actually he could have chosen a Jewish Rabai and it wouldn't change how I feel about him bcoz VP position is useless in Nigeria. He simply wants to win and will anything to get votes.

Ayubam,

PDP has no ideology. I am not a supporter of PDP but between GEJ and Jihadist Buhari, I will rather take the lesser evil.

@Jason,

Aint u supposed to itsekiri / Yoruba? When the hell did u evolve into Igbo?
PoliticsRe: Bakare: What I Won’t Take As Buhari’s VP by udezue(m): 4:09pm On Feb 05, 2011
@jason,

You are simply voting for buhari because he picked some Yoruba chap as his running mate so quit trying to act like there was nothing tribal about your decision. You people are already known for believing anything Yoruba even if Hitler na the ring leader.

Buhari ruled Nigeria before and if he could not perform his magic back then in his prime he sure can't do it now at his old age. No to all these political nincompoops with no ideology.
PoliticsRe: Bakare: What I Won’t Take As Buhari’s VP by udezue(m): 4:03pm On Feb 05, 2011
Beaf, IS ACTUALLY RIGHT.

If you don't know what ideology is and the role it plays in politics then you know nothing about politics.
PoliticsRe: Some Foreign Carriers Plan To Originate & Terminate Their Flights At Enugu by udezue(m): 1:24am On Feb 05, 2011
Anambra does not need an airport. Anambra state should focus on creating and making River Niger port viable. Asaba Airport is on the other side of the river bank hence they can use it. Enugu Akanu Ibiam Airport is about 45 minutes away from Awka hence ppl on the other side of Anambra can use it. If Uli airport is in Anambra state then they need to rehabilitate and maybe use it for just flying cargo or make it private airport. It could be made into an aviation school too.

Beaf is just a douchebag who thinks he is smart. He sees a clear case of human right's violation yet supports it. Gov Lamido is power crazed wicked idiot.

PoliticsRe: Na Wa For Naija Imagine Lamido’s Facebook Critic Remanded In Prison by udezue(m): 9:46pm On Feb 01, 2011
Beaf,,,,,, You are clearly a fuckinnn mooron Beaf. Defamation can only be determined if you lost something like investments, jobs, money, etc. In the US and UK you don't get locked up for it before even pleading guilty  or not. I have never heard of anyone in the US or UK getting arrested for defarmation. All you have to is gather up evidence of it and evidence of hardship that it has caused you then a case in a court of law. In this case the guy simply sent the man to jail before letting him plead guilty or not all because he has power.

Since you have appointed yourself as the prosecutor can u copy and paste for us what he said? Ewu
PoliticsRe: Na Wa For Naija Imagine Lamido’s Facebook Critic Remanded In Prison by udezue(m): 8:46pm On Feb 01, 2011
@Beaf,

Your whole argument wreaks of shyt. So you support a barbaric law like this? Whether there is a law that supports jailing some1 for talking is not a justification for this. Laws like this should be scrapped coz it simply enables politicians to oppress and intmidate people. Do you know if the young man also has evidence and BTW evidence or no evidence these ppl can use their power to ruin the man's life. If they were to do it to you your freakin evidence might not be sufficient enough for them to do you like they did Wiwa. This is Nigeria please.

You have lost it.

chigo4u:
I dey laugh.

But then instead of blaming the governor who has lost it I rather blame the judge who has become a willing tool to perpetuate evil. This kind of case should be dismissed on arrival. The accused is just execising his freedom of speech (freedom of writing, even on a lower form). someone has a facebook page and decides to air his thoughts and he his jailed for that. smh. where does that happen. Is this not democracy? The governor should realize that their is still opposition, perhaps if the acused were to be a governorship aspirant or having some money to spill, nobody will be saying this. I believe whatever the guy has said cannot be compared a bit to what the oppostion will be saying in his state about him. I mean, am not from edo state but just this morning on AIT one man came on to say all sorts of things against oshiomole and he must have forgotten he even went to a TV station this morning. Thats why they say the world is for the rich. so everybdoy get your money up. The country Nigeria is appaling and yet they dont want anyone to talk? I expect Nigerian great minds to go after this case.

@BEAF

I hope the next time you open your mouth and say something negative about a Nigerian politician you get thrown into the next jail, preferably Kirikiri prison and locked away to rot. You must have lost all your senses. Please when you find them holla back.

To even say the crazy power drunk governor is on the same level with Fashola in terms of performing miracles is laughable and a big disgrace. Dude I've admired your sense of reasoning on NL until today. You have shown a certain Nigerian trait that I detest passionately. Even Pope John Paul has been criticized by people yet Vatican has never issued arrests. Even Gov. Lamido is Jesus Christ himself he is not above any criticism and as long as the defendant was not threatening his life he has no right to use the police force to intimidate the young man. Instead of fighting crimes our police are being used to intimidate people. The governor should have went ahead to prove the man wrong by continuing to perform well and show transparency. I am sure people will see things for themselves. What happened to filing civil lawsuits though I still wont agree with that but atleast that is far more humane and sensible than arresting someone. If Obama and American officials were to reason like animals the way many Nigerian leaders do everyone will be in jail by now.
Freedom of speech please. This democracy (I guess Democrazy in Naija) so if you can't stand the heat then dont run for office.
PoliticsRe: Kalu Backs Ngwa To Produce Abia Gov by udezue(m): 5:36am On Feb 01, 2011
Enugu is also like Anambra. Gov Sullivan Chime is performing well and that is all that matters. I DONT know where the guy hails from.
PoliticsRe: Kalu Backs Ngwa To Produce Abia Gov by udezue(m): 5:34am On Feb 01, 2011
Kobojunkie.,
I dont know why this is so funny to you but anyways lets move on. No I have never lived in Abia. I only visited. I am a native of Abia via Arochukwu tho my own family migrated to Ajali in Anambra state but we still have relatives there.

It should not matter but like Asha80 said maybe they should hand it to them so they can show us what they got once and for all and shut up. At the same time I am not in support of that coz next thing Arochukwu will come up with its own. Even villages will soon start demanding the same thing. You will see one tiny village turn into a clan over night like ikwerre once turned into an ethnic group over night.

I think Southern Igbos are overly clannish. I find that very backward. In Anambra who gives a damn about your town or clan?
PoliticsRe: Kalu Backs Ngwa To Produce Abia Gov by udezue(m): 3:51am On Feb 01, 2011
We are all Igbos so why should it matter if the governor is Ngwa, Aro, Bende, Abiriba, Abam, Umuahia, Isiukwuato, etc?

SMDH!!!!! I have no idea where Gov. Peter Obi is from in Anambra state. As long as he is performing, who CARES?

Egyptian youths will determine their own future and if the decide they want to go back stone-age era then they should brace up for consequences. Mubarak just has to go.
