I want for 18th month immunisation yesterday, asked the pead about the polio being given to children street by street by the government, whether there is a need to give my son since l have a going routine with him at the hospital. His response was that, if l am sure l have not missed any of his routine..that l dont need but if not then l need it. However, no course for alarm if he takes again, as he thinks there is no overdose. Though he advised l shouldnt give him if i havent missed any of his vaccine routine.

He was given MMRV (i.e Meases, mumps, rubella and varicella), Opv and hepatitis A yesterday.

importantly less of carbohydrates and then portion control. its not easy.. it took me up to 1 year to achieve that.
Dont do a crash program... make it a life style, just watch what you eat.

was able to achieve 76kg before l got pregnant and had a baby...now am about 84kg ....back to weight loss again, but hasnt started anything serious.

i listened and was scared of the language their director and callers use.

Whatever they want to do/achieve should be peaceful.

An ordinary Nigerian irrespective of tribe is not the problem of Nigerians or biafran in this case.

on the egg friendly supplements that can help ur situation are, Bee pollen, Royal jelly, then take your folic acid.

Pls o! Give your kids polio vaccine to avoid stories that touch. My baby took the last one at 6months or so. I brought him out for another lately. There is no harm in doing so. Check your immunization cards I think polio vaccine stops at 6 months. So if your baby is older than 6months go get it.

that maybe for your hospital, I am very sure my son was given another OPV at 14months with DTP booster. He was initially meant to take yellow fever and chicken box, but these were postphoned for 18th month.

As others have said, if you have a detailed immunization routine l think it's good to stick with it. For the hospital l use, he is on this routine until 5 years. and i think this may not be a case for those that use government hospitals for their immunization routine.

when last did you check your blood pressure? its a symptom of hypertension...i may be wrong, but check your blood pressure first.

i planned to ask that in my next appointment. But won't it be an overdose for a child who is under a 'going routine'? this is my concern. For a child of say 3 - 5 years no wahala but for babies who are still under a routine maybe an overdose...just my thinking

please how do you handle these government officials giving polio vaccine to children street to street. do you allow your children to be immunization by them even though you have a vaccine routine with your hospital?

I didnt allow my child, since l know he is up to date with his vaccines, however, l have another vaccine appointment for him at his 18th month. People around felt l was doing 'l too know' because they told me there is no over dose of it and that what they are giving is a different one, which has not been given before. i trust my hospital to give him in his next appt if he needs it.

Please how do you handle this?

Airtel talk more is good too. 3k to get 9k for call, sms and browse. the 9k is valid for one month. dont know the rate of charges, am good with it, because its enough for me all through the month, unless in a month i make some crazy calls .

MTN business class is another good one.

my sister you do not need to do anything different from other preggies, people carry pregancies successfully with fibriod. Ensure you follow ur doc's advice and register for ante-natal early. Take your prenatals, all is already well.

The last l checked l was 84kg .

By the way... miss this thread, wish to have the same determination of the past to come back and do the needful...desired weight 76kg my pre-pregancy weight

A friend told me yesterdays shes 3months gone after 10years of waiting. My friend i have talking about on the TTC forum, had several micarriages too, pregnant now and will deliver April this year.

This is an encouragement to everyone of us... 2015 our Year of Celebration!

my sister, having two madams at home wasnt easy, she started well, but later she really changed, l managed her because she was actually taking good care of my baby, she was zero in every other thing. I have an 11 years old baby girl who also go to school. Better for me abegi. when u marry two wives you know which is better, this my baby girl is better for me even though she cant do much for me now.

Yes since he entered 13th month, l changed his feeding style too, he has dinner with us by 7pm, feeds him cereals between 8 & 9pm after bathing him, he sleeps off immediately after the meal and hardly wakes up till sometimes 5am.
My big nanny has finally gone, so the little started school (creche) this January. Since he started, he has been crawling at home, because most of his 'classmates' are crawler

Ok, so get it treated if not yet done, apart from it being a fragment of your imagination, infection is another cause for that.

have you checked for infection? DO HVS, urine and blood infection cultures.
