@ prettymoma. how are u doing and ur DS? my sister you can say that again, for the first 2days all l could do was cry and cry... l woke up one day at night in the hospital, looking at the baby and his dad, he took after his dad, they were fast asleep...I cried from midnite till morning, my eyes were badly swollen that my doc was scared during the ward-round, he thought l was reacting to something...told him never to worry that l was crying

that's pure superstitious, as byvan said, easterners don't do it. All l did throughout my pregnancy was to rub anointed oil on my tummy and cover the baby with the blood of Jesus every night and morning. I was constantly told to use the pin...if God cant keep the baby, how can safety pin do that?

I got you on the pepper soup, I mean eating more of starchy food.. yam pepper and swallow with the pepper soup could be the cause too.

it could be the iron supplement l was given...if that causes it...or too much yam pepper soup and other omugwo things am eating ..... am so tired of don't eat this, don't eat that, it will affect baby this and baby that?

a very good friend of mine is going thru the exact thing now, she sort 2nd option and was told the baby is inactive and not dead as first option said. However she is in her 14th week. I trust there's nothing God cant do, you need all the faith to hold on and speak to the baby, God put him/her and only him can keep. I join my faith with yours, that your expectation shall not be cut off.

How long did u clean d cs area with spirit? My wound face was dried at three days and d bondage removed, was told not to allow water touch it and use spirit to clean d arae minimum of twice a day for one month. Have been doing it but am tired of drycleaning my body, I want to hv real bath jare.

D injection was to reduce d pain, considering ithe fact I was induced, d contraction pain was not that bad, until after d 4hrs period. The pains I got was from d induction process and especially manually breaking d water which he tried severally and still couldn't.

Am actually using his doctor said style, but when d cord fell, she insisted its vaseline and no longer spirit, will allow since someone has confirmed d blue seal vaseline works well for it.

Did u apply anything on d pen-is when d ring fell off? Doctor said not to apply anything that it wiLl heal itself, but my aunt is saying penicilin or vaseline to be rubbed on it. Pls advise.

For the epidural, there is this pain magt injection given which is not d epidura per se, but lasts for 4hrs only. It does not eliminate d labor pain completely but reduces it.

How do u correct d old mamas doing omugwo for you? They still believe in d old ways of caring for babies and want to apply it to the babies. Eg I was told to only apply spirit on d cord at d hosp, but they want to apply vaseline before and now the cord is off,my aunt maintained its only vaseline That will be applied. Again d pen-is, am under pressure to apply vaseline or pencilin when doc said nothing shd be applied. Pls how do u handle these conflicts, bearing in mind these mamas used these their methods on us and it turned out well. I hv been told now again to buy bitter kola to soak in water to be given baby to calm his stomach, that its tummy ache that's Making him cranky, but new age called it COLIC ?

Ur dh needs a minimum of 15-20million count to be certified ok medically. Pls work on improving his count, some ladies here have used fertilaid to boost their dh counts. However there's nothing difficult before our God, lesser count from d min hv achieved bfp in this forum. Do what u can and leave d rest to God. All d best!

My testimong is that today is my birthday. I can't thank him enough for this double celebration in my home. I usually cry every of my birthday (counting age for God) and my wedding anniversary days, but today am full of joy for God's faithfullness over my family.

I thank God he didn't react to d circumcision, I heard terrible stories of how he will cry for days and run temperature after d exercise. Apart from d one he cried when I changed d first diaper, he has been his normal self.

Sorry for d vomitting. I didn't experience vomitting, but I heard ginger tea helps, don't know how safe ginger is in pregnancy. Make sure u are taking enough fluid.

He doesn't sleep if he doesn't bath and he loves water, never cried when taking bath even this evening, thot he will cry cuz of d circumcision.

Pelvic can be done anytime, tvs can't be done during af. However I prefer doing scan before O or few days to af, because most times after O, functional cycst is formed which naturally dissolves after sometime, just to avoid being told u hv a cyst when actually its a functional cycst.

The scan I did on d 3rd showed baby weight as 3.4kg, when he was born on d 4th, he weighed 3.07kg, as Byvan said that weight is not d actual baby weight.
Yeah Rukemi, Its d ring type. They numb d place, so baby didn't cry, but when I changed his diaper this afternoon he cried and cried as never before
Byvan, should I bath him this evening? I feel I shd let him be till tomorow to avoid causing him more pains.

Don't ur honspitals give pain mgt injection during labour? I was given, that I didn't experience those awful pains. The worst pains I went thru Was from all d processes involveed. The injection according to d doc lasts for 4hrs after which it wears off and can't be repeated. I beleieved, because d labour pains were increasing for me before I was wheeled into d theatre.

Abegi eat oo, u know u didn't eat at first trimester. I added 12.1kg all thru d pregnancy and lost 5kg immediately I gv birth. At ur stage of pregnancy ur weight is not bad, ur doc will gv red alert when u add more than necessary as mine did then. I pray omugwo will not make me add more shaa, because am starting real omogwo from tomorow as my aunt comes then.

Lol I can imagine d scare, when next it happens cos it will happen, sometimes they need a kind of quiet time; take cold water or oranges, she will start moving. If u are where u can lie down, lie on ur left and listen.

Congrats once more dear, what a funny and sweet story. Apology accepted. Afraid catch me when u said baby weighed more than Byvan's baby. That's a good sieze u hv, hw will add. My boy was 3.07kg at birth reduced to 2.9kg before we were discharged. Am at d hospital now for his circumcision and they just took his vitals he is 3.8kg.

What a sympathetic b.reast u hv there, already running, mine took abt 3-4days, still not running as I desired.
