zik4ever:if you have noticed, there attacks are getting deadlier. not that our military are not trying |
ndcide:that assertion is wrong.boko haram just started |
MrScript:i hope its just that shaa.cos it is still detrimental to the nigerian populance |
alcmene:that is one thing am trying so hard to understand.this kind of bad blood could be going on at the fedral level and they act like they dnt care. |
Alot of myth is been attached to the last 4months of the year popularly known as "EMBER MONTH ". EMBER MONTH to me in not just a myth but a period when criminal elements intensify their act. Even at the international level, not just in Nigeria, it's impact is felt. For instance, it was in the month of September that USA witnessed its biggest hit on terrorism.Nigerians woke up to witness a twin bomb that ravaged churches on December 25th and the bombing of UN embassy in Abuja that brought about a national embarrassment to us. The aforementioned bombings took place during the EMBER MONTH.On that note, it reveals clearly that the security agencies need to collaborate effectively to manage and put a stop to future occurrences. It's on this note that it was reported a couple of days ago that the DSS captured a boko haram member, specifically, here in Enugu but Surprisingly, the PPRO, Enugu State Command, Ebere Amarizu refuted the claim by DSS and in his own words in a radio program said and i quote "the media didn't report it and in that case, it is not confirmed because there is nothing the media doesn't know and in that case, the force was not aware when and how the arrest was made " I was shocked hearing that statement and the questions i want to ask is if the NPF actually implies that people should disregard what the DSS said as long as it is not from them even when National Security is at stake here? Is the NPF telling us not to be security conscious and act like nothing happened? If DSS has arrested a criminal element of boko haram magnitude and its Abuja HQ confirmed it, how is it that the NPF, Enugu claims not to be aware? Is the media now vested with the responsibility of securing lives and property? Is the NPF not liaising with DSS in matters of national security via exchange of information and spy alerts? and when They can't do so At the state level, where is the interest of security of lives at the federal level? Could this be same kids glove attitude that was displayed when info was given that the UN Embassy in Abuja was a target? The security of lives and property lies in the hands of all security agencies and NPF, ENUGU and NPF in general should not play god when the lives and welfare of the Nigerian people are involved by presumably expecting the DSS to come and brief them before they can tally along with them or what? They ought to be liaising with DSS and all security agencies and ridiculing efforts been made by other agencies. If they feel bad about it, they should get to work and not play dice with lives they have sworn to protect as counter denial of information is not a good start for sharing of intelligence between all security outfits of the government. cc:lalasticlala |
xandyE:well, she is one actress that has really lost touch with fans shaa. everyone seems to dislike |
i will pardon your ignorance cos U seem to be the attention seeking type who just want to get noticed and what better way to do that but toe ethnic lines and insult the sensibility of nairalanders who are in the politics section to argue on politics. |
sunnyb0b0:lmao. tel Him to come and patronize me, i sell SENSE very cheap |
100DAYS in office is an age long tradition that accesses the current state of affairs of an elected president. not much is been expected to be done within that 100DAYS but It sheds an insight into the direction the govt is heading to and what to expect from the govt in power.its by virtue that this tradition is now used to acess buhari because no one expects him to sit idol at Aso Rock. Very well, he promised nothing specific even though i remember him saying he will crush boko haram within 2months in office as at April 2nd in his CNN interview . that aside, but no one goes for the highest post in the country unarmed.whichever you look at it, 100days in office, where his administration is and where it intends heading is a subject of debate between admirers and critics |
for someone of his caliber openly professing his support for one of the worlds most famous rapist, bill cosby and invariably showing utter disregard for the female victims of these rapes, then he has no moral and ethical justification to fire shots at fayose who naturally is doing his rightful job as an opposition. when people dnt key into buharis plan and find it disturbing as to why his current trends should be brought to the public glare, doesn't mean he should call him a tout Fayose made a vital point there that unarguably runs in the minds of so many Nigerians including my grandpa. what is expected of shehu sani if he really wants to make his point known is to counter him with verifiable facts or mind convincing permutation on what to expect than subject to insults. karma is quiet a b***h Cos The so called insult was what Greeted jonathans regime by APC, reminds me of El Rufia |
goodluck with you man, will surely add you up. enjoy arguing with you |
gudluck with ur prayer |
vicadex07:like i said, dnt make ur ignorance public or i will school you if you still fail to see the difference |
i dnt see the harlibuthon scandal as the reason why USA goffed on jonathans presidency cos Dick chenney is a republican while Obama is a democrat and if chenney had gone to jail, that would ve been an advantage to democrats bid to retain power. so Between Obama, Jonathan and Buhari, there is an untold story but That is surely not the reason. |
Suspect33:stealing is not corruption bro, dnt make your ignorance public |
very few people tend to read in between the lines when he made that statement. the fuse made by the opposition was so enormous that the media cashed in on it and left the gullible Nigerian public to swallow it, hooks, lines and sinker. the bashing that greeted that statement publicly showed the level of intelligence exhibited by our leaders who took the advantage to score cheap political points but In retrospect showed us how naive they were including our own wole soyinka. the point is our education system is in comatose and our media which ought to be the bedrock of national unity as the 4th realm is actually tearing the country apart with news with quotes like"one of our sources told us, etc"its high time we hold our leaders, accountable to us and air our views devoid of ethnicity. been a buharist or a wailer wont guarantee that |
his statements are not volatile compared to the abuse of the right to expression by the APC while PDP was in power |
this writeup is not concise and has no verifiable source |
just passing by. who will be my babymama? |
PassingShot:hmm but My English teacher taught me that when you talk abt something one has done that has a positive impact, its defined as an example |
abachas own was hilarious especially with fela's comments on them |
mecks15:bro, devoid of ethnic affiliaton, what strong institutions are been put in place? |
PassingShot:if you say so, we will all wait and that is why it should not be listed as an achievement |
you talked about the war on insurgency and what Alex Badehs double standard talk on two separate occasions. does that not tell you something? an you said he appointed competent personnels. that assertion is laughable when you list that also as an achievement because if you compare them with GEJ's own appointees, they ve got equal antecedents in the military. if you follow politics, you should know that what chad president and Our guest, Ban ki mon Ought to say |
@passingshot:you made mention of economic gains but Judging from what Is on, economic wise, in Nigeria, the impact is not felt. world bank and USA pledge is a normal political jamboree and is not worth celebrating as they are not free just that the interest rate is low. and you of all pple shuld knw that whenever These sorts of thing hapns, investors will make enquiries but What happens next is the major question. that your opinion to me is not an achievement |
@passongshot:you are really trying so hard to make an impression on buharis 100days and I must commend you for that but You got it all wrong cos Talking about redeeming Nigerians image is not measured by USA acceptance in the global scheme of things. USA is the least country to judge our international acceptance. if Nigeria had a bad image, they won't be in UN security council and u of all pple ought to knw that US pallies with anyone who can do their bidding and when You dnt esp when you commit adultery with CHINA or cheat on them with RUSSIA, you ve got urself trobule. ask Mubarak of Egypt, assad of Syria, ghadafi of libya etc. they capitalized on buharis political ambition to hunt down GEJ and now They can release funds so as to gain nigeria bk from china. if a Ghanaian economist air his view, its naive to list that as national embarrasment. anyone who understands world politics won't list image as an achievement. ntin has changed except that we are bk as USA runaway wife |
when you promise to end boko haram in 2wks and promise to declare asets once you are sworn in, is that not 3wks from the 100days that is been denied. i keep saying PMB should take responsibility for his actions and not denying them |
seems the SP and DSP were calculated political maneuvers to keep them abreast. guess They got too tired from the wild goose chase |
such an act is uncalled for and should be condemned abruptly |
wil fold my arms and watch how the events unfold |
may they know no peace if they come to enugu again |
the freda gal gave her an uppercut reply but It ain't a fight as the op would have us believe |
