Oloye2019:
And you think we at The Oloye Presidential Movement are not electorates?

You mentioned
Fela Durotoye - South-West
Kingsley Moughalu - South-East(not so sure) and those two are from he South. It seems you're not abreast with the political arrangement in Nigeria. You think the North will serve for one term after the incident with Yar'dua that brought in Jonathan?

Dankwambo is good. Saraki is better and more qualified.
Dankwambo is 56years old, Saraki is 55years(closer to the youths)

Dankwambo is just serving his two term as governor, Saraki finished his two term 7years ago, serving his two term as a senator now and the third citizen in Nigeria.
It seems you do not know what it means to be a Senate president in a country of almost 200million people. Presiding over the biggest assembly in the world and the most ethnically diverse culture in the world.

You just do not like Saraki, else how would you place him in the same category with the likes of Fela Durotoye and co?
am not placing him with the likes of dankwambo and co.am actually placing them above him.you seem to equate political posts with good leadership qualities.he has a good political cv judging from the positions he had occupied and is occupying now but the basic question is,what did he achieve with all those portfolios? Dankwambo was once accountant general of the federation and we all know the giant strides he made there in his short spell.a president doesnt need to go through all the political posts in the country to get the job but he must posses leadership and managerial skills and understand in depth the fundamental economic and social problems bedeviling this country.so far, saraki can only boost of political skills.something the likes of mitt romney, john mccain and hillary clinton all had but they lost to obama,a house of assembly member in chicago.

Oloye2019:
The question I should have asked before now,
Who do you propose?

Someone must be president after all!
we will leave that for the electorates to decide but if am to choose,i will pick fela durotoye, kingsley moughalu and gombe state governor, dankwambo.

Oloye2019:
Kindly read the bolded carefully and answer the following questions:
• would you rather prefer the current administration and president?

• Does the current government "walk the talk?"

• Does the current government inspire hope?

• Does the current government's constant trips abroad represent our interests abroad?

• Does the current government "commands international respect?"

Your honest answers to the above questions, placing Saraki and Buhari side-by-side will tell if you are a patriot or not.

We are talking of a movement from the old ways to the new. From the dark past into a better future and you are talking something else.

Emmanuel Macron became French President at 39 years old with no prior experiences and proper exposure like Saraki has.

Adama Barrow of The Gambia spent all his life in the US and only moved down few months to his campaign. Today, he is the president there.

Zimbabwe now has a 40year old president. Liberia has George Weah, people who do not have the political acumen Saraki has, yet you say he is inexperienced? Oh, and Saraki at 55 is older than all those president I mentioned.

It is true, we grew up to see Nigerian presidency as an office for the "old". Now is time to change that view for our children and their children.

P.S: kindly take your time to type completely, your words. I find it really difficult to read short words.
if theres one thing i will agree with you on is the fact that the current administration doesnt have these qualities but to sing sarakis praise as a man who is endowed with all those qualities is clearly an overstatement and trust me,age has absolutely nothing to do with leadership.we just happen to be unlucky in this part of the world where those saddled with the responsibility of taking care of this nation have failed time and time again.i really appreciate your love and enthusiasm towards saraki and honestly i have grown fond of him these past 3yrs that he has been in office but realistically speaking, hes not the man we need for the job and will advice you dont continue giving him the impression that he is.he is just nigerias own 'jeb bush'

What is wrong in their detention, obi? Are they not terrorist? These women are threat to the security of our dear Nation. They knew this before daring the Governtment .
They must sever their term in prison as the consequence of their action.
Terrorism is condem in Nigeria. A terrorist is terrorist.
These women are terrorists. They must face the law.
Obiekwesili should back out or should be arraign as their sponsor.
just one question, under what circumstance based on what they did today, will you say, they can be termed terrorist judging 4rm ur assertion?

They must get released as quickly as possible.its a complete disregard for their inalienable right of expression no matter how u tend to look at it,and everyone calling these women terrorist and demanding they ought to languish in prison shows how archaic our level of reasoning and understanding of the principles of democracy and good governance we yearn for is.

This boy I'm looking at is not dead. Be careful with the way you lie!
All I see is a boy closing his eyes apparently because you told him to and pretending to be dead just because you want to make a case against the military men that tortured him.
If he was actually tortured to the point of death, there is no way he won't sustain some kind of physical injury on his body and one thing I'm very sure about is, soldiers don't just pick up people and torture them.
Nigeria army are the most responsible force we have in this country.
So rephrase your post OP, now tell us, what actually happened. Is the boy getting better?
nigerian army?most responsible?thats a complete fallacy and overstatement i tend nt to agree with.you need to make an indepth research on their activities within thz country at least in the last 10years.it surely doesnt look anything close to d word 'responsible'..there could b more to d story though.wat do i knw?

The Constitution guarantees the right to associate and the right to free speech and free expression.

What the law can't support is the right to ILLEGAL associations, ILLEGAL speeches and ILLEGAL expressions of self.

All activities that has to do with secession are illegal.

Is that so hard to comprehend?
my dear, its nt hard to comprehend and am trying to understand ur opiniön bt at the same time been as pragmatic as i can.u are the one using the word 'illegal' whch has nt been gvn a clear definitiön by d court of law,so u cnt outrightly say that wat they are doing is illegal.
Secondly, the constitution stil didnt make provisions for a situation where a protest can b considerd or said to be illegal.we jst ve to leave that to judicial interpretation.bt if theres one thing we knw,the constitution allows every citizen the liberty to express their opinion and its one major factor ths arrest is illegal bt till d court gvs their verdict shaa

Yes. A presidential race is a "different kettle of fish". No one said he has declared to contest. We and other well meaning Nigerians are urging him to.
if u are a well meaning nigerian, dnt urge saraki to contest.hes nt fit for that office.theres alot expected from a would be president by nigerians and he doesnt fit that description in any way.we need a leader who wil walk the talk, sell and inspire hope and confidence to the country as we are currently lyk a tainted fabric no one wants to wear.we need a leader who can represent nigerias interest abroad and stick to it and at d same time command d respect of the international community.saraki 4 me,is nt dat man.

Ioannes:
I'm sure you got it wrong. The major problem is that secession is not in the Constitution of this country. You can't meet with others for the purpose of planning secession neither can you make a protest walk, violent or otherwise demanding for secession.

Both the meeting and the protests are wrong and unlawful under this current Constitution.

I wish someone had advised these women that they were liable to prosecution.

I wish someone tells the ignorant Biafran agitators that you can't get Biafra by protesting on the road or petitioning the UN, the UK, the US, ECOWAS, AU or other international bodies.

Even if Buhari wanted to give you Biafra he can't. It's against the oath he swore when he was sworn in as President.

No country or organization can force the Nigerian government to break its own laws.

That's why I don't see Biafra coming to light because the chief proponents haven't shown any intelligence and wisdom in their pursuit of this goal.

Imagine hiring an American lawyer to sue the Nigerian government over Biafra in the US? #smh
i ve always maintained that it will take a magic wand to actualize a biafran nation insyd nigeria bt i disagree that they dnt ve the right to protest on any issue which in thz instance, they are demanding to knw the whereabout of nnamdi kanu.the constitution neva used or made provision for the word 'secession'.it clearly states that nig wil always remain an indivisible entity.the constitution neva made any provision that requires people to get arrested for exerting their opinion.it only made it clear that nigeria is one indivisible entity, whch means that even if these women and other biafran agitators shout 4rm jan to dec, ntin wil b done abt it.my only concern is that they ought to b allowed to express their misgivings.as for the usa supporting biafra ish.thats a dream that leads to no where bt most of my south east brodas who dnt undastand the workings of international politics and naijas foreign relationship and the word sovereignty wil stil b making false assertions and gvn themselves false hope
