you seem to ask a question but Your writeup shows you have already arrived at a logical conclusion thereby putting the cart before the horse. i may not be opportune to travel widely and from all indications, you haven't traveled much urself cos The way u painted the states you used in sighting as examples of why the SS and SE are underdeveloped which are akwa ibom and Aba shows you haven't visited those states at all but only rely on media reports. Now, with the exception of aba in the SE where i come from, every other state in this region ought to be considered before a balanced analysis can take place or u mean to tell me that if a particular state out of 5 is not doing well, t hen it's assumed the region is backward. common statistical knowledge would tell you otherwise. with all due respect to ma yoruba and nothern brothers who seem exempted from your writeup, which state aside lagos, ibadan can match the development strides in enugu, Anambra alone. Yo u also mentioned Akwa ibom and its quiet apauling that a state of that caliber will form the basis of your argument. Bro, try and visit AKWA IBOM AYAYA cos I served there . with respect to your question whether they are the most corrupt cos majority of my brothers down south Rooted for GEJ, I can simpy tell you that the answer you are looking for is, NO, they are not. politics is a game of who gets wat and when And history has proven to be a determinant factor that shows how politics is played. go and read nigerias political history and then you can get your assertion right. Finally, we learnt in schl that statistics has two sides so Your overall general assertion of all SS and SE is wrong cos Not everyone here actually voted GEJ but A greater percentage did. |
very soon, this issue will take center stage of our national security discuss if appropriate measures are not drastically put in place before it escalates into something else. |
dnt understand a thing you said here, thought u were analysing something and there again, u are giving a moral. what has ebola and salt got to do with Buhari? |
I TEND TO DISAGREE AND AGREE WITH HER. THE BASIC FUNCTIONS OF A LEGISLATOR IS TO MAKE LAWS AS IT AFFECTS THE COUNTRY AND EACH LEGISLATOR IS EXPECTED TO MAKE HIS OR HER CONTRIBUTION BASED ON THE SITUATION OF THINGS IN THEIR RESPECTIVE DISTRICTS BUT HER COMPLETELY IGNORING THE CONFAB REPORT WAS UNCALLED FOR AND THR IMPLEMENTATION OF THAT REPORT WILL GO A LONG WAY IN RESTRUCTURING NIGERIA |
CANT THESE SENATORS USE THIER LAPTOP AND RECEIVE THE C. V, MUST 105 COPIES BE SENT TO THEM.. MTCHWWW.. ANYWAY, I WISH AMAECHI LUCK AND RIVERS STATE SENATORS ALREADY SAID THEY WON'T WITCH HUNT HIM |
ddippset:hmmm, not so fast oo. i don't think you discard a Senate standing rule just like that |
Demdem:sorry, am not used to replying to kids who don't know how to present their facts but Resort to insults. so, i'll pass. find someone with your level of childish mentality. mind u, this is ma first and last reply to you ever in this forum. i talk to political arguers not kids |
the thing is there are two sides to the story and judging from your analysis and the reference to anelka, that is not enough to make an assertion of an impending doom in the SE camp because oliseh unlike all the previous coaches is a youthful coach who can relate well with the players and even the assumed enyema loyalist. you ain't there, so u cnt categorically state the situation of things with regards to cliques. these so called loyalists, na enyema dey come SE come serve? those loyal to jay jay, kanu nwankwo etc who are oliseh's pal, ain't that an advantage to him. oliseh choosing musa as captain Should be a food for thought to you. of all people, Musa. was he able to manage the players and bring in a brotherly spirit in the team, sumtin abt him we dnt see when the camera lights are on. have u asked urself, since enyema shouts and meets referees, what if the guy was bossy. if oliseh fails, its because tactical wise, he wasn't good and not cos Of dressing room mgt |
politics is a game of who gets what and how cos Amaechi is been indicted, APC folks here are screaming witch hunt while the pdp folks are having a funfilled day with the news. if it was dizeani, APC wouldn't have seen it as anything wrong. everyone here is been hypocritical with the truth and the truth remains that no matter how you tend to look at it, Amaechi cannot be exonerated from any of these allegations. anyone saying other wise is been a blind supporter and at the end, they only care about them selves |
justice served |
You dnt get the point, thats your interpretation of their message. now here is mine. the legislative arm of the govt for some decades now ve become a poo ground where principal officers are not elected but Selected by people who ve no iota of biz there. the national Assembly is not just a building where people go in and come out. it is one out of the 3 locomotive driving force of Nigerian govt. it is a cult charged with a responsibility. a situation where any matter of the national assembly is dictated by outside influences is uncalled for and if a member like saraki decides to be guided by the free control of the legislative arm be it for his personal gain or not and an issue of 12years ago is brought up now to punish him for acting in line with what the legislative arm stands for as an independent organ of government , then our future legislative needs and law will be guided by external influence and dat is bad for our democracy. That is what the law makers are defending. |
el rufai, wat u ve said about the govt expenditures on independence day is commendable but Its high time you realize that campaigns are over and its time to walk the talk. constant comparison at every given opportunity will not solve or change the fact that Nigeria is in a comatose state and needs all the changes it can get |
witch hunt or mosquito hunt, if she is found culpable, let justice be served cos Her alleged crime has an impact on the government of The day |
dammytosh:lol, i think thats what lends credence to the story and when U look at it from another angle, they may decide to allow nigerians just ve a fun filled day to quench their appetite for her head cos Its clearly stated that the names of those whisked werent mentioned and no British Tabloid is talking about it to show its not high profile |
that is how insurgents start wrecking havoc. little attention is been paid now but In a matter of time if left unattended to will become a national problem. since they only display nomadic lifestyle, a special attention should be given to them by working out modalities that will suit there nomadic nature and as well as those of their host community cos As Nigerians, they are entitled to their right to free movement |
how dump could this news get. they can't confirm for sure who was arrested and since its London and its a case of money laundering, she is d best assumption and funny enough, her media aids are yet to debunk it. |
personally, i dnt think her presumed arrest is worth celebrating cos We know how this whole drama plays out |
if its true, i guess it is connected with her purported arrest in the US alongside 4 other people. |
their stance got me laughing in Swahili |
misssclassy:swthrt, why call him all that |
MrKontrovErsy:must every thing be about ethnicity. ur statement is quite shallow |
what ever it is, they should settle their differences but If 10 million is what They asked for and Peter And paul happen to be aware of it, then that is very bad of them |
100days in office happens to be an American creation that has been adopted by almost all democratic countries around the globe. it was on July 24th 1933 that Franklin Roosevelt while addressing the 23rd congress of American people initiated this particular move although that was not his original motive but along the line it became adopted across the globe. It 's a period he used in trying to set the agenda for the American people during the period of great Depression. He created his famous "NEW DEAL" Agenda for them and within that period, american's were able to get a lease of life because almost everything was shattered. Within that 100days, he was able to make the congress pass upto 15 executive bills for him and till today most of these bills are still subsisting in the USA constitution and it has come to create the basis of Americas democratic empire and across the board in every democratic structure, different countries have tended to see it as worthy to be adopted. The 100days period is more or less looked at as a period of Agenda setting because of the freshness of the person who is occupying that position straight from the furness and euphoria of victory. The expectations are always high and the president will always be mindful because if he doesn't do anything within that 100days, people's expectations will deciphate at the very rate it had increased during campaign. it strives to show the policy of the government, their direction and policy initiatives. it should be a period the president makes it clear to the people where the thrust of his administration is. 100days in office is not a period of recrimination or carryover of a political campaign. when a government emerges, campaigns are over as they begin now to show people what they want to achieve, where they want to go. its a time they inspire confidence in people and that is what I expect from president Buhari. a political thrust and in all honesty, am yet to understand the direction where they are going with regards to the CHANGE AGENDA. The significance of the first 100days in Nigeria's political landscape can't be weighed down because PMB as a president ought to have his program plan of action despite whatever the past administration must have done. The focus is now on his agenda, what is his mission and vision? what are his policy thrust? There is need for him to communicate his agenda to the people that brought him in power. Nigeria voted him based on the CHANGE AGENDA. we must try and differentiate the BUHARI EFFECT which has to do with his personality and body language from his CHANGE AGENDA which are the campaign promises. Now what we have been seeing for 100days is the BUHARI EFFECT,been his character trust and persona and that has virtually led to an improvement in power and distribution of petroleum resources and now we get to see people do things in order. Aside that, we must understand that these things are going to fizzle out if he doesn't create a solid foundation. I remember tony Blair speaking through Peter Madeleine tellling PMB the 6things that is expected of him to achieve in his first 100days.Why did they talk to him? they were looking at his planned programs of action and the prospect of translating vision into reality. As far as am concerned, President Buhari led government is still living in a nebulous world of electioneering campaign brandishing media talks about those who has stolen our wealth while we have agencies in charge of all that such as the EFCC,ICPC and NPF. i don't want to feel the buhari effect but I want to know what his work out plan to strengthen these institutions are that will enable them fight this war on corruption. Now, when someone is arraigned for corruption, they will bring their lawyers to court and then the whole gambit of the criminal justice system must be applied because you can not jail anyone just like that..It. would be beautiful if he says, for example, in criminal justice, this is what His government plan program of action is. If he says he will cut down the number of ministries, by now, we must have known whether we will have 7 ministries or 12. If we are collapsing parastatals, by now we ought to know and get it communicated to us, Nigerians. After his 100Days in office, it's high time President Buhari rides on the crest of the change agenda that brought him into power because very soon, Nigerians will get tired of the BUHARI EFFECT AND PERSONA because that is what is still been felt and face the reality that after 100days,the CHANGE AGENDA is far fetched. cc:Afam4eva Lalasticlala |
despite the fact that am igbo but Am not in support of biafa but I respect the movement. my only problem is the methodology been adopted by the IPOB maestero, nnamdi kanu cos Secession all over the world is diplomatic not violent and in the case of seceding from Nigeria is a dice the US and it's allies are not willing to take |
one thing I have learnt from Nigerias politics is not to pass judgment when government officials are involved in exchange of words unless the verifiable facts are there for all to see |
i may not share the same opinion with most folks here and i am not a buharist but We must girls him time to get things together. it is way too early to start propagating theories with his appointments |
its a fact i ve always knwn and i ve a book by an igbo author that lends credence to these findings |
may his soul rest in the bossom of the lord. this calls for sober reflection on safety measures and guidelines of PHCN in the area of field work by its staff. wont be surprised if the man went up there without any protective mechanism |
when a friend of mine argued he was going to sack them, i told him he doesn't knw fayose very well as a politician. he adopted The carrot and stick approach to send a message to the public servants what it entails to be in service to the govt and the role they play in governments sucess. guess Am vindicated |
it is always good to bury the hatchet for a greater good and thats what a real party loyalists. the body language talk really got me cracking. reminds me of someone shaa |
only she knws the reason for her action. goodluck with that but From all indications, she said her denouncement will run title 2019 which coincides with PMB's end of first term |
