Seperate them now. I didnt wash my baby's new clothes same way i watched the okrika own. So i dont put them together.
The new clothes, i watched them lightly cus some can easily fade. While the okrika own, i washed them multiple times to erase the odor and because they rarely fade and can withstand multiple washing.

Funny enough, i watched the video of a before Hansel was born. So i already kind of understood the steps the doctors will take to undergo a vaginal delivery and delivery through C-section. So when dey were slicing my poor belly, it felt normal. Lol

I was afraid to watch it oooo, but since u said you watched it before delivery, and it prepared your mind for what to encounter, may be I will try it as my Dr is seriously mentioning CS. It's well. The main thing is mother alive, baby alive, father alive and plenty money.

How una dey. See me see case ooooo, I slept almost immediately I came back from work around 6.30pm and woke up around 10.30pm. Sleep no gree come again.

1...Always do a scan or several scans and pay attention to the results...
I was the one mitchyy was referring to when she said you should scan and rescan to be very sure of the results, to avoid stories that touch...
I did a scan at 36 weeks, and was told I no longer had placenta previa, but at 39 weeks, I had a ruptured placenta, due to placenta previa... If I had done another scan after 36 weeks, all the stress could have been avoided...

2...Always pay close attention to your body... Try as much as possible to be at an alert, so you'll know when something is wrong...
Trust and follow your instincts...
If I hadn't figured out that there was a difference between my BH contractions and real contractions, even though they were painless, I probably wouldn't be here today, telling this story...

3...Don't let anyone tell you that labor has to be painful... If you feel you're having contractions and they are not painful, head to the hospital... It's better for them to check you and be sure and send you back home, than for you to lose your baby or worse due to negligence... Let them send you home 10 times, it far better... Go to the hospital and disturb them, it is what you're paying for...
I was in painless labor from Sunday till Wednesday morning... And they kept telling me I had to feel pain to be in labor... What if I kept listening to them? What if God didn't keep my baby and I?
I keep wondering what the story would have been today, if I had stayed at home for 30 more minutes before going to the
hospital, or if I had stayed at home the entire night...

4...I've said it here before, and I'll say it again, don't ever feel bad or less of a woman if you're told you'll have to do CS to get your baby out... As long as that precious God-given gift comes to you, alive and healthy, to hell with whatever procedure he/she comes into the world through...
CS is a life saving procedure and we should even be thankful that it exists...
CS or not, be grateful for the special gift God gives to you...

5...Last, but not the least, never ever joke with prayers... No matter how weak you are, a quiet and simple "help me God" can go a very long way in your situation... Always ask for the grace of God...
Always pray!!! Never stop praying!!!


I pray for easy and miraculous delivery for all remaining moms here and the gift of the fruit of the womb for all ATC mamas too... May God put huge smiles on your faces in no distant time... Amen!!!

But i just had to log out because i started having bp issues. My bp was 140/90 yesterday and i was placed on drugs to reduce it. So i didnt just want anything that will make me frown or increase it further, na make me dust my slippers waka comot first

I was told by my doc to come every morning to check it. I went this morning and its still 140/90. My doc is really worried.

Pls if anyone has any tip to help me relax so it can reduce, pls let me know o cus baby is threatening to drop anytime soon and i cant risk entering labor like this.

My dear, I had that BP issue, so I reduced my salt intake, increased my water intake and I don't even think about anything that will give me headache because my own comes with headache.

It got to a point I had to remove the braids I did dt have not lasted because the thing was giving me unnecessary headache. One day I wanted to write a memo in d office, I told my colleague to help me and draft it because I don't want to crack my brain to avoid headache.

That's how I do my own. Just continue with your drugs, it will come down.

I went back to the hospital to discuss cerclage with them, he said no. Though the bleeding has stopped. He did a VE and said cervix is closed though scan said slightly opened.
Will definitely seek a second opinion in another hospital. Thanks all once again.

My dear, to avoid stories that touch, it's better to do cerclage. My Dr did it for me because I had one M/C before and I spotted small in my 10th week or so. He said to avoid stories, I shld just do it. It was done in my 13th or 14th weeks. Seek a second opinion dear.

on Thursday I started feeling funny, before then, me and dh have being kpekusing and doing second honeymoon, plus trekking and climbing stairs. at about 11.34 pm on Thursday my water broke,the water fit reach 20liters. so we rushed to the hospital, they checked me, and I was just 1.5cm.heavy contraction started without giving me space to breath. I went through hell that night,the labour lasted for 16hours. when it was time to push, I pushed for two hours, they gave me hot drip, I was running mad. the baby's head was down, but I couldn't push, my husband had to call my parents, my dad and mum came. my mum started aiding the labour, my dad was telling me to push, my husband was crying I was seeing a dead me. but God's got me. I was pooping and vomiting until weakness overcame me.two doctors and 5midwives where there. my mum was shouting that am a blessing to her that I should push her grand child. at exactly 4.47 pm on Friday the 17th of June 2016 ,my little girl came out without a tear and weighed 3.2 kg. immediately the placenta came out. and it ended in praise, can't believe am a mum. the God of Women is awesome. I wish other June mums and all the women that are pregnant a successful birthing. and may God grant conception to every woman who wants a child. Am proud to be a woman.
