More emotional nonsense

It was a military government and one of those governors was Ndubuisi Kanu
Ojukwu was lucky that the seizure was not formalized by a Military decree

You folk are always childish and emotional in your approach and assessment
Ndubuisi Kanu was military governor in Lagos 5yrs after the war. So you sprinkling his name make no sense here as said property was seized in 1971.... If dey hit you people with fact you will respond with been "Emotional" Una no dey taya?

So are we now agreeing that Lagos state govt stole Ojukwu's father's property? Even though Sir Lois had nothing to do with the war.

You made the claim can you substantiate it
Yes or no?
So the fact that you know a street name in PH proves what?
So if you tell us he owns GRA we should just believe?

Ojukwu took the government to court all the way to the Supreme court to get his property in Lagos State
He was successful

So why did he not go to court to claim GRA in PH
The thing with most of you is that you people like arguing w/o substance go and read my post again all those properties belonging to Sir Lois was handed back to Ojukwu in 1995 by Abacha after overthrowing Shonekan.. Have you people wondered why Ojukwu was close to Abacha? and how the same Ojukwu visited Saro Wiwa in prison and left him a cryptic message the famous "Good morning"....
Well I'll forgive you because you people don't travel neither do you read or investigate things for yourself.

Hold Ojukwu responsible for the starvation of his people not Awolowo
Alll that nonsense you are writing on Awolowo holds no water

There is no where you go to war and expect to be fed by your adversaries
Ojukwu imposed unrealistic conditions on food supply and he was served

so stop all these tactics that you folk always use

When losing an
argument just bring in more irrelevant nonsense to confuse the undiscerning

What has this thread got to do with starvation?

Ojukwu was a key figure in the war and it was appropriate to seize his property
After he was pardoned he went to court all the way to the Supreme Court to retrieve his property so why all these claims of victimhood

Yes Awolowo was fair to Eboes
He saved the Federal allocation for the war period without Gowon's knowledge and handed it over at the end of the war. He also recapitalized ACB

He was a lot fairer to the same people who conspired to jail him than they would have been if roles were reversed
After declaring the war No victor no vanquish by Gowon in order to facilitate reconcilation you still think it is right for people's property to be seized by the same govt that want to integrate the country then. We like been dishonest to ourselves. Ojukwu is no Saint same for Awo, Zik and co we have to come to terms with that. Had Aburi accord been respected we wouldn't be talking about all these. That's by the way sha, if you excuse Awo for the starvation policy what about the 20pounds issue? Make we dey talk true for this country, the "Heroes" we like to deify are humans and are prone to make mistakes.

Saro Wiwa is only a thief with no shame if he was actually posing in Ojukwu Father's property that he seized as claimed by the op. Otherwise, it is you and the op that are thieves.

You guys just sit down and concoct stories to continue to feed the hatred that you have for other tribes while you expect them to love you.

Was Saro Wiwa in a position to seize Abandoned properties? A lot of you are just so ignorant and don't even make efforts to educate yourselves.

The last I checked, Abacha returned Ojukwu family propery located at forces Avenue PH seized by the federal government to them that even Chukwuemeka Odimegwu Ojukwu appropriated to himself and refused to share with his siblings which caused them to sue him in court.

Everytime you guys open threads that give you the platform to begin to insult and tell lies about other people and tribes. It doesn't help you in any way.

Saro Wiwa took over Ojukwu's father's property located at ABA road. Most of Ojukwu's father's properties are in Captain Amangala street. And for your information Saro Wiwa by virtue of his position in Gowon's regime influenced the abandoned property saga. On several occasions he was even cited with his then best friend General Sabi Abacha who was a Lieutenant then in Sir Lois Ojukwu property. These are some of the shameful dids we don't like to admit. It's also worthy to point out that it is not only Igbos that suffered the abandoned property saga, alot of Ijaws lost their properties the state polytechnic in River state was owned by an Ijaw man it was seized from him because of his involvement in the war and till date no one has corrected this injustice. Incidentally, it was the same Abacha that gave back all those properties to Ojukwu after he overthrew Shonekan to buy Ojukwu's loyalty.
You know the irony of everything? Igbos in no time bought back most of those properties from the thieves as many of them couldn't even maintain it.

Moghalu that looted CBN with Sanusi, Diezaini and Goatluck?

Moghalu was one of CBN deputy-governors during Goatluck Jonathan's regime, but you will find it difficult to remember. This is because this guy was silent throughout. As Goatluck Jonathan and his group of 40 thieves were looting the treasury, Moghalu as CBN deputy-governor was taking his own share too. That was why when the other pedophile CBN governor Sanusi Lamido Sanusi was screaming that the treasury was being looted, Moghalu kept quiet because you don't talk while you are eating, it is called table manners.

So, this Moghalu and the other deputy-governor colluded with Goatluck and Diezaini to sack and humiliate the pedophile Sanusi because Sanusi was disturbing those who were looting.

The CBN and the Economy was not like it was under Sanusi/Moghalu when Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo the Solution was CBN governor. The magician that taught the world's so called best Economist from IMF, World Bank, European Central Bank, ADB, e.t.c. how to manage the Economy when you see Recession from afar.

So, don't hype Moghalu, there are very brilliant Igbos who are not in the same category with the treasury looter.
When important matters bothering on nationhood arises instead of attacking issues you people will be attacking personalities, typical of herd/zombie mentaliy.
If you have any evidence he looted CBN as a deputy Gov while under Sanusi (who supposedly supervised the looting as head of CBN) why haven't the EFCC and co arrested and tried him? Come up with more intelligent arguements not this regurgitated talk of kwarauption you people shamelessly mouth.
It is this same mentality of calling everyone thief that's why we have a saint today in power that have destroyed everything he met.

Many Nigerians are not fed up with suffering that's why someone will see a candidate like Moghalu and ask him to go and contest in his Senatorial zone or state. On one hand you people are crying and suffering under the gross incompetence of Buhari and his team
whose only solution to anything is going back to the farms and shouting Anti-kwaraption and on the other hand discouraging and abusing candidates with the requisite exposure, knowledge, competence of how a 21st century economy and an ethnically diverse nation should be managed. Instead of you people to rally round and say enough is enough same youths will collect 5k, Indomie and Tin tomatos and vote in another relic that will even out perform Buhari in incompetence and come back to whine and cry how their future have been mortgaged. We saw how the youths in Zambia rallied round Hichelema and made him the President despite the rigging antics of the former president.

Justice is all Nigerians are asking for and justice they must get else we wont make any progress as a nation. In this same Endsars protest we saw videos of middle level officers particularly Majors in the army disarm and de-escalate angry mobs w/o firing a single gunshot infact the Major that was in charge of the NYSC camp in kogi literally stopped his soldiers from firing into the crowd that wanted to loot the stuffs made for corpers he appealed to the mob and made them see reasons why they shouldn't steal what belongs to their brothers/sisters that came for service, similar scenario occurred in Osun state were we saw another army Major engage an irate mob and within 10min he deescalated an already tensed atmosphere also not forgetting the Senior NAF officer captured on camera warning police officers to stop firing at the mob so he could engage them. These is to tell you that the military have alot of good men that know the sanctity of human lives and the huge responsibility that comes with wearing the uniform, what makes you a good soldier is the ability to carryout your objectiuve with as minimal casualties as possible infact if you can disarm your enemy w/o firing a shot the better. To those set of officers we will always praise and commend them but you see those bad eggs that perpetrate criminalities we must call them out it doesn't mean we aren't patriotic we all want a sane society not a banana republic were anybody can misbehave because he or she have access to a rifle, virtually everyone can pull a trigger people at the helm of affairs should try as much as possible not to push the citizens to the wall because when all hell breaks lose simultaneously all over the country the resultant effect will be worst than a zombie apocalypse.

Ah yes the good old Lekki Toll Gate Massacre where despite being a massacre no footage exists of the assault, no bodies have been recovered, photos showing bodies have been proven fake with some literally being from movies, the people that supposedly died are undocumented, and the only hospitalized individual with flesh wounds was caught robbing the hospital he was sent to.......

Many of the people reported to have been killed in the Lekki Protest have since come out to debunk such reports.

A Nollywood movie star Eniola Badmus, who was allegedly shot in the stomach and died at the Lekki Toll Gate has denied the social media reports. Posting on her Instagram, Eniola wrote “Against all speculations about me being shot or dead at the unspeakable incident that happened at the toll gate a few hours ago, I would like to inform you guys that I Eniola Badmus is hale and hearty. I couldn’t make it there today to lend my voice on the #endsars movement.”
https://www.pulse.ng/entertainment/celebrities/eniola-badmus-says-reports-of-her-being-shot-at-lekki-tollgate-are-false/yebpl6b

A photo of a man carrying a dead lady wrapped in Nigerian flag as posted by Yemi Alade was an image from a movie acted with a theme, “Heal our land, OH LORD!” posted by Yemi Alade was an image from a movie acted with a theme, “Heal our land, OH LORD!” https://www.trendsmap.com/twitter/tweet/1318864211037048832

A young man, Iraoya Godwin, a native of Otuo-Auchi, Edo state who was reported to have been killed also at the Lekki Toll Gate has posted a video on Twitter denying the report. https://twitter.com/i/status/1318872511736614913

There is a trending video of the corpse of Comrade Anthony Okechukwu, a former student of Michael Okpara University Of Agriculture, Umudike Abia State. It is discovered that the young man died in a road accident and not at the Lekki Gate. https://twitter.com/i/status/1318872511736614913

Solacebase reports that there was also a video of one Lucy Adu who was celebrated as a martyr at LekkiMasacre after dancing in the clip. Some of the social media posts celebrating her ‘martyrdom’ read: ”She was dancing an hour before she was murdered by the Nigerian armed forces Lucy was her name Pensive face#endsars – a bullet hit her in the face and ripped half her face off.”

Latest investigation shows that Lucia Adu died from an accident with a stationary truck on 20th October 2020. Her death was not from a gunshot by anyone. This is also confirmed by a new fact-checking Twitter handle on EndSARS https://twitter.com/EndSARSFctCheck

Meanwhile, PRNigeria Editorial team could not get authenticated footages of the bullet-ridden bodies from the alleged LekkiMassacre from credible media sources and EndSARS activists. Yet, two days after the alleged LekkiMassacre, no single family member has reported to security agencies or the media of the death of their loved ones in the incident.

Checks by PRNigeria revealed that not even a single protester allegedly killed during the Lekki incident was reported, even as no single corpse of the massacred protesters was taken to any hospital in the state, as of Wednesday night.

On October 20, the Nigerian Army shot at the people protesting police brutality at the Lekki Toll Gate, but the military has continuously denied involvement in the incident despite several accounts of witnesses, including hospitals where victims were taken to, showing that there were casualties.

The Lagos State Judicial Panel of Inquiry has submitted the reports on the Lekki shooting incident and police brutality cases to the state government on Monday.
The panel led by a retired judge, Doris Okuwobi, submitted the reports at the Governor’s Office in Alausa, Ikeja.

On October 20, the Nigerian Army shot at the people protesting police brutality at the Lekki Toll Gate, but the military has continuously denied involvement in the incident despite several accounts of witnesses, including hospitals where victims were taken to, showing that there were casualties.

The panel concluded its sitting on October 18, 2021, and said its findings and recommendations would be submitted to the state government.

Justice Okuwobi had said 186 of the 252 petitions submitted were deliberated upon.

According to an infographic released by the panel, the sum of N409.7 million was awarded to 70 petitioners.

The panel in its report obtained by SaharaReporters also recommended disciplinary actions to Lt. Col S.O. Bello and Major General Godwin Umelo for failing to to honor its summons in order to frustrate the investigation.

It added that all men of the Nigerian Army that were deployed to the Lekki Toll Gate on October 20, 2020 should be made to face appropriate disciplinary action, stripped of their status and dismissed.

“The panel recommends disciplinary actions to the following officers (Lt. Col S.O. Bello and Major General Godwin Umelo), who refused to honor the summons of the panel in order to frustrate the investigation,” part of the recommendation read.

“All officers (excluding Major General Omata) and men of the Nigerian Army that were deployed to the Lekki Toll Gate on October 20, 2020 should be made to face appropriate disciplinary action, stripped of their status, and dismissed as they are not fit and proper to serve in any public or security service of the nation.

“The panel recommends that all those arrested in the course of the protest should be granted bail, prosecuted for any offence that may be alleged against them or where no prima facie evidence of culpability is disclosed upon due investigation, they should be released forthwith.

“The panel recommends that the Nigeria Army be discouraged in intervening in internal security.

“Panel commends Reddington Hospital, Vedic Life Healthcare, Grandville Trauma Centre, Victoria Island Consultancy, General Hospital Marina, and medical Services Hospitals, LASUTH, Doreen Hospital, Saint Nicholas Hospital Lagos Island, Avon Medical Practice Clinic, Britannia Hospital Lekki, First City Diagnosis Limited, Lekki, Budo Specialist Hospital Lekki, Saint Edward Specialist Hospital and Cardiac Centre Lekki, Lagos Executive Cardiovascular Clinic Lekki, Olive Multi-Specialist Hospital Lekki, Preston Hospital Lekki, Lagoon Hospital Ikoyi and all the medical doctors and personnel that attended to the victims of gunshot wounds from the Lekki Toll Gate and treated all of them free of charge. Panel recommends them for special awards by the Lagos State and Federal Governments.

“The Panel recommends that the commitment made to the hospitals by the Lagos State Government through the Governor and the Commissioner for Health for the payment of the hospital bills of the EndSARS protesters should be fulfilled.”

It also added that the Divisional Police Officer of Maroko Police Station along with policemen deployed from Maroko the station on the 20th and 21st of October 2020 should be prosecuted for arbitrary and indiscriminate shooting and killing of protesters.

If truly our troops need help, i do think we might require an American base or British base, in fact Chinese base. Then we ruin and become another Afghanistan.

I do remember Buhari telling AFRICOM to bring a base in Nigeria/West Africa. Maybe he's already buying this idea.

In my honest opinion, the Nigerian armed forces requires TOTAL reorganisation. I do watch budget defenses by different MDAs in the National Assembly. Those lawmakers don't really know what's happening except for a few.
Nigeria does not need foreign intervention. We all know the solution to our problems. Is not like we've tried all local solutions and failed. It's that, we aren't even trying to solve the issue. The Nigerian problem is interwoven between all sectors. A failure of a sector, affects the other.

The Nigerian Armed forces need more funding. 10 billion dollars a year would change the course of this war because each element of the military would be made better. We need to Reorganize our Paramilitary. Many civil defence peeps don't know their purpose.
How long are we gonna wait or make politicians see the need to fund the military especially the Army? Exploring other options shouldn't be out of the table, it's a matter of national security. It is useless recruiting/training thousands into the military w/o plan to properly cater for their welfare and equipments. The edge Israel have over Arab nations is nothing but cutting edge technology and equipments not really numbers though if we have both it would be excellent.
I won't be surprised if we later get to hear that the Brig.Gen that was KIA was going for that reinforcement in a convoy of Toyota Hilux.

We ain’t commenting with emotions bro. The Nigeria Military needs to also improve on its PR game and also avoid posting what ain’t true.

We have several cases of the Military denying Bases we’re not overrun, only to see ISWAP drinking bottled water right in the base during attacks.

Th Nigeria Military has now made “Repelling” to look like an overwhelming victory and a necessary end to this Insurgency war.

Don’t be surprised if ISWAP changes the narrative about this attack with their propaganda video. We f**king lost a Brigadier General bro and not a Lance Corporal that is a very Loud message from ISWAP. Do not be surprised they might have taken military prisoners from that Ambush…. The same day we lost a Brigadier General and we should give a Pat on our back for killing two dirty ISWAP dirty bastards?

Security Agencies should up their game immediately and move against these dirty bastards.

Something needs to be done ASAP. The federal Government and security agencies should teach them in a Language they understand.

It's very clear our military needs help but some idiotic self deluding fellows keep decieving themselves. They think calling for assistance means calling the Military useless, even the US with all its resources would hardly go into any war w/o alliance(s) talkmore of Nigeria that is still struggling to consistently spend $1bn yearly solely for procurements/upgrades. Is it not 2 weeks ago COAS was complaining bitterly about the slashing of army's budget yet we shouldn't seek for help anywhere we could. Even soldiers on ground will tell you they will welcome the idea of getting reinforcement from regional blocs even if it means them holding the fort along border towns.
As for the ewures shouting that we only amplify bad news, so we should keep quiet when soldiers die because they're not human beings with families. In the US death or casualties of noncommissioned- soldiers can bring a gov't down talkmore of an army General but in Nigeria we should hush it all up and amplify BHT casualties as if the lives of those renegades equates to that of soldiers. We should keep quiet and not shout so that gov't will see the need to fund the military as it should putting in mind that we are literally the mouth piece of these soldiers as they can't speak for themselves.
Well!!! The cycle continues..

It's high time we rally support from ECOMOG and AU or even the UN to come assist us with both men and equipment; if we can rally about 10,000 contingents of these regional forces to take on these terrorists head-on it will go a very long way in this war. It's getting obvious that the military is overwhelmed/overstretched coupled with the fact that they're heavily underfunded especially the Nigerian Army. We should tuck in this big brother abi na giant of Africa mantra in our pockets and seek for assistance anyway and anywhere we could this war has already lingered for too long we can't build a nation in a perpetual state of internal-war.

Please do not ever quote me if you don't have information or fact check about any of my post. The video was copy from a solider account, on Instagram. I advised him to shot down the account which he did. The video did not happen anywhere around the south east. The operation done by the military in a local government at Enugu state was a joint task force between the military, dss , sts, police. Led by commissioner of police , and major Gideon. He said the military police have invited all of them which went for the operation in that video. I will not mention the location which the video take place in another not to implicate the solider . But using weapon and firing anyhow should stop.
whether it happened in the south east or not isn't the crux of the matter the issue is bothered on the rascality and unprofessionalism of those soldiers you don't shoot indiscriminately like a drunkard in such setting. That's by the way sha, from the vegetation, soil and setting of those houses a discerning mind can tell where the action happened but lets keep lying to ourselves and not address the recklessness within the rank and file of the army.

Omo I watched the unfortunate video of soldiers firing GPMG into what appears to be a civilian settlement and the idiots recorded themselves worst of it all they were chanting slurs in Hausa language thus creating room for perfect propaganda material for separatists to use. The rank and file of the l army are another breed entirely, I pray the authorities don't worsen the situation by coming out to deny it because that video obviously wasn't doctored the culprits should be used to set example if not they'll grant legitimacy to IPOB and if we can't win the hearts of the ordinary man on the streets, it's pointless fighting a war that the enemies have support from the locals.

The first picture discribes how ISWAP creates diversion so as to be able to move logistics elsewhere.
The second is how ISWAP is financed. The fish business. NAF needs to intensify attacks on fishermen in the lake Chad, many of them work for ISWAP.
Did you just day NAF should attack fishermen? This sounds insensitive & irresponsible at the same time, it is well known to everyone that most of those fishermen pay taxes to ISWAP in order to carryout their business w/o harassment same way they tax other commodities within their territory. If you don't want them to pay taxes it's either you relocate all of them and arrange a way to cater for them or flush out the insurgents. The government can't be forcing people to leave IDP camps back to their communities some of which are still being held by terrorists and expect them not to do the biddings of the terrorists, they only trying to survive, if you were in their shoes you will also pay those taxes to save your life/business... Life is already hard for these people we shouldn't compound their woes.
