The op is correct... Nairaland has been demonized, you will be shocked at the number of young innocent youths that are being misled into mastubation and fornication...

I ask this because am a fresh graduate, and cant wait until 3years when i would have gotten those years of experience to apply.....what if i perform excellently in IETLS, my age is below 25, plus my uni degree in geology...what are my chances for a positive acessment.

If you ask me......this is better than marrying two seperate wifes, atleast your children would see themselves as true brothers and sisters, and not step-brothers and sisters, and jealousy will be reduced to its bearest minimum.

The only answers you would possibly get is the uninterrupted power supply nigeria is craving to have....jus that yours would be a bit mechanical, and would be administered by induction, through a well charged 'KOBOKO' in an electrified white garment church!

I have always been obsessed by the increasing and alarming populace of mad men and women on our streets......but to have them online, create a thread, and articulate reasonable stories as this!.....no!....this is spiritual!
Wow! to any man who has emprisoned this ''educated son of an innocent mother'' to a life of wild western imaginations....in a country, that lies south of the sahara, ruled by a fisher-man, and is diseased by religious bigotry!.....my friend, i advice you continue in this cozy and perfect realm of ''entering aso rock'' without appointment...without even house address! Hmmm, cause the reality on ground, esp for most Nigerian youths is so frustrating that some are even praying to change realms like yourself.

Career / Re: Career Mistakes!!! What Would You Have Done Differently? by ugonology(m): 7:52am On Dec 29, 2014
in my opinion, their is always something to regret as life isn't perfect for anyone. the fact that the youths of today continue to make the same mistakes over and over again is a clear pointer that experience is the best teacher, so improve yourself if GOD grants the opportunity. my advise thus....be happy, be glad, be grateful......those in the land of the dead have only one regret, and that is not observing all of these three virtues.

That was a pretty kool topic.
Sorry about how your presentation went...
All na part of training...
Many of us are guilty of stage fright...
No matter how bold or confident we may claim..
With time you'd get better...
You can't run away from presentation...
Even here in the industry, u r require to make presentations during various checkpoints on the project u r involved in...
U may check online, der r excellent guides on how to deliver a good presentation without shaking or stuttering much...

Have you started your thesis? What are you working on?
yes...am presently working on the structural regimes and geochemical properties of a particular locality in the north central part of nigeria.

hello mr ifoundmyperfect, am a final year undergraduate of geology...presently writing my final exams. I must say u are doing a great job here, esp for young undergraduates like myself. Thank u. I remember doing a seminar on the topic ''the applications of micro-paleontology in sequence stratigraphy''. Honestly my flop was painfully remarking! Infact i shaked and stuttered throughout the session of the presentation! Stratigraphy and paleontology are two branches of geology that most geology students find very challenging.

Welcome to the career forum.

You never give up until the last minute. A former coursemate of mine hit the 3.50 mark in her last semester. Today, she works for an oil servicing company. Another coursemate started his final year with a CGPA of 4.42 and was able to hit the 4.50 mark after his last semester. Please do fight on. One quality they both had was positivity. Be hopeful. No need to be confused. Just see it as an opportunity to surmount. If possible, register some electives that can help you boost your CGPA. You don't have to regret yet. There is a battle to WIN.

And what if you don't make it...? What you need right now is to be focused on hitting the mark. So don't dwell on the what-ifs. Just believe and work towards a 3.5.

Cheers.....
thanks a million time....by the grace of God, i will testify on this forum.

please am new on this board or forum and would humbly like to seek the undiluted advice of Mr. XFIRE...Am 22 years old, studing geology in a federal university and presently in my final year. Problem is, my cgpa is barely a 3.42. After reading through many of your inspiring posts and topics, i suddenly became aware of the impending disasterous frustration that awaits me in the labour market should i graduate with this class of degree. I actually started poorly(2.74). Now am confused and exhausted, i need atleast a 4.4 to hit the capping cummulative of 3.5 coupled with the fact that i barely have this last semester(about 1 month left). Now my question is, should i fight on? even though it is obvious that my chances are slim, or should i honourably resign to fate....is their any splint of hope for a 3.4 graduate in geology related fields? Or in the general labour market.....am bitterly rottening in a bucket of regret and anger, i honestly crave your words of wisdom on this.
