You should have a marriage or civil partnership certificate for your partner, your funds via Bank statement to cover her stay. While filling the visa they'll ask for the documents they need. Besides, if they need further documents they'll request for them. A friend came for MSc, later went back to Nigeria, got married and brought her spouse. Stop getting worried. One more thing, you should have pictures and of course chats and any other evidence over time to show that the relationship is genuine.

There was the case of an arranged marriage where they were refused at the POE. A simple question like her spouse's full name asked by The border force the lady wasn't able to answer. How can you have a husband and don't know his full name. Na so yawa gas !

Now am getting married next month, is it possible to apply for my wife a UK visa as dependant? What do I need as proof and Pls if this is possible or have been achieveed before, how do I go about it? How long have you known your partner?

Anyone can get married and apply for their spouse on or before December 2023, the onus is on you to show enough evidence, expect alot of scrutiny on her application

Pls not that I received my visa on May and preparing for September studies.

Hello gurus in the house, I applied for UK visa last September, the requested for my TB cert, which I sent. This caused a delay, I did a lot of paid mails, not positive response till the school's deadline elapsed. I then got a mail of refusal from ukvi, reason that my school withdrew my CAS. My question is, if I want to apply this year, should I include a letter, explaining the reasons for the previous refusal and my disappointments? Or that won't be necessary? Pls I need help on this. I didn't make it last year because the deadline passed and the school withdrew their CAS. So I was refused visa for that reason.

Am facing similar issues.. No idea what to do next

Good evening house,
I did my bio on Aug 20, called and issue was escalated on September 12, today make it 15 working days yet I called and I'm told decision not made and they will get in touch whenever a decision is made. Worst is I have never gotten NSF mail from Ukvi. The challenge is there is even no timeline for resolution and my school enrollment will be over my next week.
I will really appreciate any advice that can help
