sluvy4tune:You are the one that need to be stoned, because to see good and call it evil? if in deed you are from akwa Ibom and live there can you honestly say that Akwa Ibom has not developed in leaps an bounds in the past 7 yrs? |
jaytee01:Half. Truths yet you fail to point out the half truths? Like i said APC is welcome to campaign in AKS,i for one am curious to hear what they will campaign on? For so far they have been very thin on ideas that can change AKS nor Nigeria. Like the OP APC. Lacks ideas so they. Choose to attack persons instead. |
APC is welcome to campaign in Akwa Ibom But we wonder what they are going to tell Us here in Akwa Ibom: 1).Is it that they will build us roads? Akpabio has built 350 roads in Akwa Ibom has completed 1900km and more are underconstruction.A record that no Nigerian governor past or present has achieved in 7.5yrs in the history of this great country. 2a) will they tell us about bridges? we will turn around and say But the PDP government has built us 38 bridges and 5 flyovers in 7.5 yrs. thereby opening up our state for investments as there are now access roads to all LGAs in the state. 2b).Is it electricity? Akpabio has completed Ibom power plant that generates 191MW of electricity to the national grid and is currently expanding it to 600MW capacity, If states were allowed to generate electricity for their personal consumption without passing through the National grid. The 191MW Akwa Ibom Currently generates will be more than enough for the whole state. Besides this Akpabio has succesfully collaborated with The FG and Mobil exxon Who are building a 500MW gas fired plant at QIT ibeno as we speak. The govt of PDP has attracted private investor SEVEN ENERGY and SEPTA petroleum who have built and is currently processing 200million cubic ft of gas daily at Uquo, gas processing plant in Esit Eket. Thereby making our state able to supply adequate gas to fire our Ibom Power plant Alscon and also supply gas to the IPP in calabar and Unicem in calabar. 3). Are that going to tell us About Education? The PDP administration has instituted free amd compulsory education in the state and has built 4000 classroom blocks in 7 yrs and has also built a bi- campus state university that will graduate its first set 2015. and the FG has also established a federal Polytechnic in Akwa Ibom State. 4) Are they going to tell us about building us ports? The brand new Akwa Ibom international Airport is already functional and recieved the APC leaders Aircrafts when they came calling, The Ibaka deep seaport And Export processing zone is on course having recently passed all the FG evaluation and economic viability test and is set to be approved by the FEC for funding 5) Are they going to tell us about corruption? and we will look at their leaders in Atiku and Tinubu and scream these are the two most corrupt Nigerians in the history of corruption that we know, And we will ask How will these corrupt leaders stem out corruption in Nigeria? 6)Will they tell us about poverty in the land ?and we will tell their leaders that Akwa Ibom people were poorer when Gen. Buhari was the president of Nigeria, And we will ask, what new ideas has general buhari gained since then that will make Akwa Ibom people richer, And we will equally ask him to list the projects he sited in Akwa Ibom When he was in charge of PTDF where 80% of his projects were sited in the North eventhough 99% of the funding for PTDF was from SS. 7)Will they tell us about change? we will tell them that Akwa Ibom people have never seen the kind of uncommon transformation that we have witnessed in the past 10yrs under PDP. We welcome APC to Akwa Ibom but it will be extremly difficult for them to get votes in Akwa Ibom Because they have no track record to campaign in Akwa Ibom And our people know that APC has no Agenda for Nigeria besides screaming corruption when indeed their leaders are the personification of Corruption. Has PDP solved all the problems in Akwa Ibom? NO! but because of the track record of PDP in AKS we trust them to do more in the comming years and address issues they have been thin on,than vote a party that has no track record of accomplishing anything on ground in Our dear state. |

All the major contracts in the state has created jobs for teaming youths of Akwa Ibom, thereby giving the oppurtunity to horne their skills in construction,5,000 teachers employed by Akpabio,The Airport, Stadium, ibom tropicana,The Federal polytechnic, The Akwa ibom state university, Beko industries, Siba industries, greenfield technologies, Uquo gas processing plant, Seyang-geldsa transformer factories and manymore projects are providing jobs for youths that were hiterto unemployed.Though more jobs is still needed in the state. 9).On Security, We will tell APC that PDP states are generally more secure and peaceful than APC states and that is a testimony to the investment and value that Akpabio and other PDP governors attach to security, and we will ask APC what are their plans to bring peace to the states they govern like Borno,Kano etc that bombs are exploding on a daily bases? In Akwa Ibom A brand new police mobile base has been built by the state govt with a state of the arts police secondary school and donated to the NPF to enable then discharge their duties, countless vehicles, boats, communication equipment and other accesories has been provided by the state govt to enable a secure environment in AKS, What will APC do differently? 10). On Agriculture AKS PDP can point to the women in Agricultural development program WADEP, that has empowered over 2000 women with agric loans of 250,000 each, and over 4000 youths have been empowered with 500,000 agric loans most of these new farmers are now running successful farms in the rural areas of AKS and helping to improve the state Agric. 11).Housing, AKS PDP will point to the 5000unit housing scheme in Uruan and ikot ekpene and the 310 unit houses that the state has built 10 in each LGAs to enable LGA chairman and key members of the LGA to have access to good housing in their LGA so they can live there and work rather than relocate to the state capital. 12). Healthcare, AKS PDP will point to free medical care and free immunization for kids 0-5yrs and free medical care for the elderly 65 and above, AKS has employed 160 doctors in the state and bought them new cars so they can effective do their jobs by travelling to rural primary health centres, The state has built, eqquiped and put to use 5 new general hospitals in LGA that none existed before in IBENO,Ukanafun, okorotte, ika and essien udim. and the state of arts 467 bed 20th Anniversary specialist hospital that that is currently being eqquipped and is due for commisioning 1st qtr 2014. and we will ask APC how many hospitals they have built in their respective states that they have been administrating. We specially welcome our neighbor gov. amaechi the driver in chief of hausa APC leaders, let him spend some of the money that he would have used in fixing the bad roads in port harcout, finish the monorail, and complete the projects he started in his first term in office while he was still sane, Since he has decided to abandon governing responsibilities in in Rivers state sponsor elections in Akwa Ibom and other APC campaign, Ete Amaechi welcome to akwa Ibom And please share that oil money-o! ![]() How ever Amaechi should be on notice that Akwa Ibom people will rather vote for our other more successful and blessed neighbor and brother who is already The transformational president of the federal republic , than waste our vote on him to become a VP and official boy boy to Hausa men. The days of the SS being boy- boy to anyone in Nigeria Is long gone, Our eyes are open now, We want to be the ones deciding how our oil wealth is spent, not answering Yes sir to others. |
APC leaders welcome to Akwa Ibom the land of uncommon transformation, where everynigerian is respected irrespective of their political persuasion, here in Akwa Ibom No one will sweep your footprints after your rally, No one will bar you from your campaign. And while the APC leaders are in Akwa Ibom they should take a cue from what a transformational leadership is about, from the Airport the accessed the state, the smooth roads from the airport to the state capital, and the hotels they will lodge at is all courtesy of A PDP performing leader. Hopefully they learn what uncommon transformation is about an apply it to the 6 states they will hold after 2015 election.

Obiagelli:Let me help you with pictures of The rally because you were not there, Am so glad that APC has decided to bring part of their boko haram money to spend in AKS on a wild goose chase, We will help them to spend that ill-gotten wealth, after all the money they are using now for election was stolen from the people. ![]()
|
Obiagelli:Obiagelli, Keep dreaming, elections is just a few months away, you will say i told you so. PDP will win all the way from AKS state to Aso rock. you can quote me on that, the only thing APC will do is to unleash a post election violence as is their culture, I only pity innocent Nigerians that will be victims. APC has no agenda for Nigeria than Sponsoring insurgency and screaming corruption? Who is more corrupt in Nigeria than the likes of ATIKU and TINUBU? |
This is APC wetdream,APC will not win a single seat in the senate, house of rep or state Assembly in AKS not to talk of the governorship seat in the state. |

The stadiums are going to be magnificently built. Ghana may or may not make it. No one should cry for America! we should be concerned on the implication of the falling oil price on Nigeria, The russians may have invented drilling or been the first to drill for crude oil in the world, But the Americans have been the most successful oil men and oil business in the world. They control the technology, are the worlds major producers, and 70% of the world majors are hqtred in the US. If anyone can innovate itself out of a difficult oil situation its the USA, They will do it with tech and business savvy if that fails they can always resort to the time tested strategy of taking it by force "WAR". They can capture any oil rich basin for themselves any day they feel like it.Who can stop them? Saudi Arabia can be tagged as an axis of evil, and a sponsor of terror that needs to be stopped for world peace, just like they did to Iraq and all their oil wells commandeered. It has happend before while the world watches on, Nothing can stop it from happening again, afterall Osama bin Laden was a Saudi prince! |
Manzy17:The ijaws can be progenitors of Nigeria, Youroba, Igbo And hausa if they wish, claiming something does not make you have it! all we are saying is leave Akwa Ibom territory out of your oil rivers state, Akwa Ibom people want to remain in Akwa Ibom, not in a segregated Ijaw state. |
shota:They can migrate to ijaw land/States and join their ijaw brothers if they like the land they occupy in Akwa Ibom Is not ijaw land. and as someone who is vested in the area i can tell you that that will be the last thing that any ijaw family in Eastern Obolo will do, because we dont trust the ijaw expansionist, When it comes to sharing in the presidential amnesty and things that matter in oil politics, The expansionist bring up a dichotomy and call us Akwa Ibom men, Not Ijaw men, so they can sideline us, Like i said mention 2 eastern obolo people that benefited from the amnesty program? The few Ijaw family thats reside in Eastern Obolo, will share a common cultural tie with the ijaws but not a political union, for we know how greedy and discriminatory you ijaw expansionist are. How many of our eastern obolo ijaws are in the presidency? how many has been empowered by NIMASSA,controlled by mainland ijaws? are we less educated than the mainland ijaw militants that are pilots today? You mainland ijaws expansionist should stay in your lane, and let us be. Any brotherliness that seeks to rob you of the little you have to add to his massive wealth is a brotherhood that must be resisted and resist it we shall. |
This might be a blessing in Disguise for The next administration in Nigeria, Our economy has to be diversified and fast if oil keeps price keeps falling, there will be no awoof money for politicians to spend on frivolities,Investment in Industrialization,Agriculture and education are the answer for Nigeria. Agriculture will give us the ability to feed ourselves and avoid excessive importation. while Quality education will create new jobs and revene, innovations in ICT,renewable energy etc are creating new jobs that were not in existence before in the western nations, Nigerians with our ingenuity and drive can make it happen here too. And now that chinese middleclass is growing and are demanding higer wages in factories, The manufacturing industry are begining to look for alternatives to china, where cheap manufacturing is available, Nigeria has the population of significant cheap labour to make this happen only if we can sort out our power problems, |
ujoinme:Word any disagreement is from apc. |
Policewoman:Those airports are spearheaded by the respective state governments, FG play's. Supportive role. |
wayodude:I will challenge you to a debate on why the Airport is the best investment that kebbi State govt. could make at the moment for kebbi state! I am ready to engage as many of you as think otherwise, the floor is open and I am available and ready if you are? |

Has any of the critics ever heard of famous Argungu Fishing Festival? guess where that festival holds? Kebbi State, Does it attract a lot of tourist and visitors? One would think that The most famous fishing festival in Nigeria would be in the coastal areas, If you thought so you are wrong its in the North western state of kebbi, And some uninformed person will open their mouth to say kebbi has no tourist potential nor need an airport. There are lots of tourism potentials in Kebbi and sokoto areas, If the spate of violence ends in the north, The North could be a tourist heaven In Nigeria, they have the nicest topography in the country. |
Now read this article and tell me you knew this was happening in Nigeria and in Kebbi state? http://www.africanewscircle.com/2013/10/25/2310/ |
Now you critics should watch this video and tell me if any of your states has this level of mechanized farms https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8yXWo2Q9ZIs#t=52 |
