5. How much do you think stadiums like the Arsenal Emirates stadium cost and how much they target to make annually to cover the cost and make it economic viable?
6.How much does Akwa Ibom planned to make annually from the nest in order to recover the cost of the nest in the next 30 years before it looks out of date like most infrastructures?
7.If this millions of dollars is your personal money or family inheritance and your family hired and paid Akpabio good salary to look after the money for you and your family and he decided to use the whole cash to build the nest and spend another millions to gather African corrupt rulers to celebrate your money. The problem of most Nigerians is this mentality of not reasoning that public money that their politicians spend is actually their money and should get them mad whenever it's embezzled, squandered or wasted.

In-form Super Eagles captain, Vincent En­yeama, has charged other State governors in Nigeria to emulate the landmark achievement of the Governor of Akwa- Ibom State, Goodswill Akpabio in putting a state of art edifice, Akwa-Ibom International Stadium.

Speaking to the media recently, the France-based Eagles skipper urged other state governors to invest more in sports facilities like the stadium, noting that it has a multiplier ef­fect on the economy of the country.

Asked his feelings about the stadium, he said: “If I want to say what is in my mind concerning that stadi­um, I know very well that I would be misunderstood because if I have my way, I will tell all the governors to try and build such an edi­fice in all the states of this country.”

“However, the truth is that the stadium is just too fine. Governor Akpabio tried and I doff my hat for him. He deserves commen­dation. How I wish every other state governor in Nigeria can emulate what he did because it will go a long way in changing the fortune of Nigerian sports,” he noted.

Asked if he still stands by his words over the Ebo­la disease, The Lille FC of France said: “I still stand by my opinion and nothing can change it. I am entitled to it and I expect everybody to respect mine. If I am CAF I will call off the Na­tions Cup but since I am not CAF, I don’t have an option than to represent my coun­try if we qualify.

CAF slams two AFCON ban on Morocco
Morocco will be barred from the next two Af­rica Cup of Nations tour­naments as punishment for refusing to host the 2015 edition in January- February, the Confedera­tion of African Football president Issa Hayatou said on Saturday.

“We are going to stick to the rules, that means elimination from the next two Nations Cups,” Haya­tou told France’s L’Equipe sports daily.

“On top of that there will be the financial and moral damages to calculate.”

Morocco are facing a $20 million fine for refusing to host the 2015 Cup in its scheduled January 17-Feb­ruary 8 slot over fears of the spread of the deadly Ebola epidemic to the popular tourist destination, Moroc­co’s Le Matin newspaper suggested this week.

The North African state had called for the Cup to be postponed, but organisers CAF rejected their request, stripping them of their po­sition as hosts and barring them from playing in the continental showcase.

Oil-rich Equatorial Guin­ea, which co-hosted the 2012 edition with Gabon, were named as Morocco’s replacement as hosts for the troubled 2015 tournament on Friday.

The Confederation of African Football (Caf) has confirmed, through its president Issa Hayatou, that Morocco will be banned from competing in the next two editions of the Africa Cup of Nations.

This comes after Morocco had pulled out of hosting the 2015 Afcon tournament scheduled to take place between January and February. Equatorial Guinea has since been confirmed as the new host country for the tournament.

Stephen Keshi's men landed in Uyo for their crucial last group game with the Bafana Bafana after taming the Red Devils on Saturday

Nigeria senior national team on Sunday morning arrived Uyo ahead of their must-win crucial 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying game against South Africa on Wednesday.

The African Champions will host the Bafana Bafana at the 'Nest of Champions' after they amended their fast fading qualifying chances with a 2-0 demolition of the Red Devils of Congo at their backyards with Ikechukwu Uche and Aaron Samuel providing the essential lift in Pointe Noire on Saturday.

The Super Eagles returned to the country around 10pm on Saturday evening abroad from Congo via a chartered Discovery Airliner and arrived at about 1:45am on Sunday morning in the Akwa Ibom State capital city.

Those that returned with the flight were coach Stephen Keshi and his 25 players, assistant coaches, backroom staff, nine journalists and 30 supporters.

Others on board were also the chairman senate committee on sports, Ibrahim Gumba, Member of Committee on Sports in House of Representatives Mudashiru Oyetunde alongside the NFF President Amaju Pinnick.

After the victory in Pointe Noire, Nigeria move to second with seven points, while Congo dropped to third with same points but separated by goal difference.

Stephen Keshi's men landed in Uyo for their crucial last group game with the Bafana Bafana after taming the Red Devils on Saturday

Nigeria senior national team on Sunday morning arrived Uyo ahead of their must-win crucial 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying game against South Africa on Wednesday.

The African Champions will host the Bafana Bafana at the 'Nest of Champions' after they amended their fast fading qualifying chances with a 2-0 demolition of the Red Devils of Congo at their backyards with Ikechukwu Uche and Aaron Samuel providing the essential lift in Pointe Noire on Saturday.

The Super Eagles returned to the country around 10pm on Saturday evening abroad from Congo via a chartered Discovery Airliner and arrived at about 1:45am on Sunday morning in the Akwa Ibom State capital city.

Those that returned with the flight were coach Stephen Keshi and his 25 players, assistant coaches, backroom staff, nine journalists and 30 supporters.

Others on board were also the chairman senate committee on sports, Ibrahim Gumba, Member of Committee on Sports in House of Representatives Mudashiru Oyetunde alongside the NFF President Amaju Pinnick.

After the victory in Pointe Noire, Nigeria move to second with seven points, while Congo dropped to third with same points but separated by goal difference.

With the Super Eagles defeat of the Red Devils of Congo by 2 – 0, the stage is finally set for an historic encounter with the Bafanan Bafana of South Africa on Wednesday, the 19th of November at the Akwa Ibom Stadium, the Nest of Champions in Uyo.

Akwa Ibom State Commissioner for Information and Communication, Mr. Aniekan Umanah, while reacting to the hard-won victory of the Super Eagles over the Red Devils at Point Noire, Saturday afternoon, said “the match against the South Africans will be a memorable one for all Nigerians, as all logistic arrangements have been completed to ensure a hitch-free encounter between the two sides on Wednesday.”

According to him, tickets for the last qualifying match for the Super Eagles in Group A of the 2015 AFCON qualifiers are being sold at designated banks and local government headquarters across the State. He added that while tickets for the popular side go for N500, tickets for the State Box go for N3000 each.

Mr. Umanah who expressed happiness over the well-deserved victory of Nigeria over the Congolese, mentioned that the triumphant Eagles will be received by ecstatic supporters when they arrive Uyo , Akwa Ibom State Capital.

It would be recalled that the Super Eagles suffered a 2-3 loss to the Red Devils during their first leg encounter of the AFCON qualifiers at the U. J. Esuene Stadium in Calabar last September 6, thus putting dimming Nigeria’s chances of qualifying for the 2015 Nations Cup.

A win for the Super Eagles in Wednesday’s encounter against the Bafana Bafana is very crucial, as the last encounter between the two sides last September 10, in South Africa ended in a goalless draw.

The Confederation of African Football, CAF, confirmed the 30,000 capacity Akwa Ibom International Stadium as venue for the November 19 cracker when a delegation of the Continental football body, led by the vice-president of the Ghana Football Association, Mr. Fred Crentsil inspected the facility.

Mr. Crentsil, during the inspection, remarked that “You guys have a wonderful facility here. It is one of the best I have seen anywhere around Africa and elsewhere.

The Akwa Ibom International Stadium was inaugurated November 7, by President Goodluck Jonathan, GCFR, in company of President John Mahama of Ghana and President Alassane Ouattara of Cote D’ivoire, with the Super Eagles recording a 1 -0 victory over the U-23 side of Ghana, the Black Meteors in an international friendly to commemorate the occasion.

Tickets for the last qualifying match for the Super Eagles in Group A of the 2015 AFCON qualifiers are being sold at All Banks, All State Ministries, Local Government Headquarters and Major Eateries across the State.
