Christianity Etc › Re: The Christian Chatbox ( sticky) by UjSizzle(f): 12:35pm On Oct 05, 2013
Ihedinobi: I was chatting with a loved one once and her responses suggested that she was not very ok. That she wasn't mad at me was quite apparent but it was stifling our relationship right then. I started drawing it out of her and tried to get her to unload on me however she could. She didn't want to because she didn't want to hurt me, said she. I deliberately went to work to incense her until she, shall we say, exploded at me. Then she started to calm down and we could chat freely again.

Have you seen those movies where a woman who's been hurt maybe by a loss of some kind just starts attacking, maybe, her husband or a boyfriend, punching him and all and he lets her until she's spent and he pulls her close andlets her cry it out. Ok, that part of the story is not an invention of the theatre.

God is our Father. He knows that it is not really Him that we are angry at. He offers to absorb all the pain we can throw out because if He doesn't we will damage the world around us. Remember what James said? Why do we war and fight amongst ourselves, he asked. Is it not because we desire and have not? What are we told to come to the Throne of Grace with if not desires, needs? Call our Father a divine shock absorber and you won't be far from the mark.
First paragraph.....funny grin grin

What most guys havw going for them is brains and money cos if it's just about looks, then 60% of them are ugly, 30% are average and 10% are a specimen of male hotness.

Thank God he's been found. You'll have to tell your bro tho when next he's lost and stranded, it's not shameful or bad to ask for help from people around.

Afam4eva: I always endeavor to separate the wheat(fact) from the chaff(fiction) by doing a little research on an information that i heard in a movie. But at times, i just quote it verbatim to sound intelligent especially since majority of Nigerians are not widely read and wouldn't counter my assertion grin

HumbledbYGrace: gbam. grin

Dutch/Afrikaans ruined the land, its so sad to hear your grandma speaking Dutch like she was born there, only to find out it was forced down to her throat.

I prefer Pidgin to Afrikaans, no hard feelings though.

Theben: About artistes like 2face, dbanj, psquare and tiwa? If my memory is still on point, Dbanj performed in closing ceremony of the AFCON in SA. So I was expecting you see his name on your list grin.

BTW, I don't seem to have heard a song by this chinenye in bold. Can any Nigerian help out with her genre of music?
It's Chinyere btw
Foreign Affairs › Re: foreigners chillout joint. by UjSizzle(f): 3:31pm On Oct 04, 2013
zetzar: I agree with the nigerians, this thread is inappropriate. The only reason south Africans should be here is to respond to all the SA threads that will pop up on Google searches. Why do you need a Nigerian forum to talk about South Africa? Isn't that what SA forums are for?
No one forced you to open this page. If you don't like what you see biko open more Nigerian threads.
