Career / Re: Please Advise Me, I Am At Cross Roads On What To Do by Ukamakam: 2:29am On Oct 02, 2017
My Honest opinion is for you to still do your business and forget school for now. Save some money until you decide on what you really want out of life. I dont want you to go back to school because others are doing that. Please dont follow your friend to go abroad yet, it is not as easy as we think. I will suggest you save some money and visit Dubai - since that is where your friend is based, just to see what is happening there and see if you will like it there. Now, I am glad that you are a hustler - you can wash plates, do all to survive. But my dear somebody that is as hard working as you should not go to another person's country to wash plates = you will not like it - I promise you that. Doing menial jobs because of immigration conditions can last for years and you will feel stuck in the country, and feel too ashamed to come back to Nigeria because you dont have anything to fall back to. I know you should take risk in life but i think you are doing well for yourself where you are. Take some money and visit Dubai to buy some good and see how the place is before you throw away your blessing chasing shadows. A bird at hand is worth 9 in the the Bush. May God direct you. Please pray about this.

Yeah, spending one month in 7yrs isn't Much at all considering the fact there are some that spend it in less than 3yrs.

What really held me in awe is how much different we are.

your statistics make me seem like a bad talkative considering the fact that you drop less than one Golden comment in two whole months whereas i make nearly 200 comments daily

That's being terribly GARRULOUS.
I really think i've to slow it down.
No no. You are doing just fine. We are all different, you are unique in your own way. Do what makes you happy.

I love Ogun state. I am from Anambra state. I did my NYSC at Alamala Barracks in Abeokuta. This month October makes it exactly 10 years that I finished my NYSC. Any time I remember ogun, it is with fond memories. I missed Ogun state because it is my second home. God bless whoever opened this thread.

I just boiled the Ukwa using my pressure pot till it was a little soft, then I added my dried fish and continued boiling till it was really soft. Added pepper, knorr, salt and oil. Then let it boil till the colour turned yellow.

Some people add onions and crayfish, I don't. The taste was out of this world! grin grin

Ok.Thank you very much. I will try it this weekend. I hope it comes out like yours.

[quote author=mizzocho.cinco]So long a man has high expectations, don't expect anything lower in return. If a man believes sex before marriage is okay why should i be condemned for believing that he can provide for me before marriage. Men will always, tell each other to keep their expectations high, when a woman is expected to be content with whatever she gets.

You may place a label on the girl who expects material things in a relationship, but explain how she is different from a girl who believes the lies of every man who promises her the world, which she will never get. Just because you are content with the lies you are told every day does not make you any better.

Many women preaching about the morals they don't possess. the same women have been hoping from one guy to the other for years and for some decades, hoping to find the one that will tell her what she wants to here and live up to it. Why don't you put your own advise into practice before you through it another woman's face.

To those labelling me, how many of you have left your man for another who can provide better?

You have spent lots of money on looking good for men who only leave you for other younger inexperienced girls. For decades the self-respect and dignity you claim to possess has not given you a marry who is ready to marry you. You keep giving all you have but you cant even get loyalty in return.

If you promise the world, be ready to provide it.[/quote

How many women have been in relationship for years with men, putting in so much effort in the relationship, not only by cooking , cleaning and sex. It can be by being there for him when he was sick, giving him ideas related with his work in exchange for a few dinner dates, sex and flowers only for that man to leave you and marry or date someone else? I simply want to know how far he can go for me and in return i will show how far i can go for him in return.
Why should i be labelled for wanting to see him put his words to practice?
Have you been told, "you are my everything and i will do anything for you", yet when you find out that you have a terminal illness or you find out you cannot have children, the same man will leave you faster than he can say, 'everything will be okay, we will make it regardless". In fact lets leave terminal illness and fertility out of this, how many of you have been told, "i love you no matter what", but you have been dumped for a girl younger than you, who is prettier and much more adventurous the moment you gained weight or talked about making it official?

OP i understand what you mean. we girls we know ourselves. dont listen to all these pretenders
