Zahra29: The vast majority of private insurers do not cover full fertility treatment costs, many might just cover the initial investigations.
However there is one specialist provider on the market now who claim to cover full IVF costs : Gaia -
https://gaiafamily.com/guides/ivf-insurance
What you might find more of is that a lot of IVF clinics offer financial support in the form of payment plans like 0% finance, which is also worth looking at. Thank you so much |

SOS A friend made an application for graduate visa and erroneously put the wrong date of birth for spouse and passport expiry date for main applicant. IhS fees are paid but not the visa fees.
What can be done please? Is it possible to cancel the application and start afresh with the same IHS fees that was paid ? |

Zahra29: Nairaland is back up in time for a factsheet released today from the Home Office to provide some clarity on the recently announced policy changes.
To summarise some key announcements: -those already on a care visa route will be allowed to stay with and bring in dependants. Anyone switching to the care route (both in and out of country )from spring 2024 will not be able to stay with or bring in dependants.
- those already on a skilled worker route will not need to meet the new £38,700 threshold when extending their visas, changing sponsors or applying to settle, but they will be subject to the 25th percentile of earnings which is currently £29,000.
- family visa income threshold reduced to £29,000. Will be increased in stages to £38,700 but no timeline announced yet.

tjsadiq: Hi guys, a friend wants to apply for post study visa but her passport has expired, she has applied for a new passport but its not out yet. Her visa expires in less than 4 weeks.
What can she do? This was treated recently. Apply with expired passport and also upload the slip that shows that she already applied for new passport with a cover letter. It's nothing to panic about |
