This recruitment is practically over!

Few weeks ago, shortlisted candidates were asked to forward their updated CV to a hiring manager. For the past weeks, same candidates have been called in batches to pick up their offers in hotels lodged by the hiring manager in Abuja and Bayelsa.

The last batch of the candidates have been called this concluded week to pick up their offers in a hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos today and tomorrow.

NB! Candidates are meritoriously picked as the list is dominated by First class degree holders across multiple disciplines with a score of at least 75% in the testmi score while some are recommended by top government officials. All from various states and geopolitical zones of the country.

However, a few of them have declined so far as they are in a better job and others have travelled out of the country. Hopefully, their slots are offered to the next best candidates in their states or disciplines.

Thank you Lek4sure, this is more clearer, even though i do not have the means to authenticate the genuinity of this info, I'll argue this particular recruitment is far from merit, to put it in other words or the words of one comrade here, its practically a "mirage".
To drive my point, i have a relative who participated with first class, chem engineering with score of 81% EH not mentioning of other credentials to his cap also from oil producing area. why is he not called.? also have a friend lecturer, first class microbiology, 78% still not contacted.
You see you guys should scrap this merit jokes and stop singing it here. we could perhaps say "First connected class of man know man" instead of the academic first class.

Telling candidates not to disclose the status of the situation is just another way of proving the hoax nature of the recruitment. it's all smokes my brother.

how does giving out letters on slot and community service translate to transparency on a recruitment that was wrapped on a merit propaganda by urchinizers here and mostly when the atmosphere here is basked with huge disappointment and betrayal by those who were being praised left and right to do the proper thing?

These thing we are talking about now, mostly when i hear the propaganda of certain percentage being taken on merit.. like who are these guys on merit, like where the Bleep, who are these people taken on merit? when i have two high flyers with hyper credentials and excellent performance during test.

most known people here will take advantage of the silent situation and pretend as if they have been called when the truth remains none has been contacted here, they all fly the news of knowing someone who knows someone that has been contacted.

The truth is, when it finally reaches the real merit candidates here we will know and it will surely be felt and celebrated here, untill then lets all sing the chorus of deception and console ourselves.

To be very sincere, I and my wife(the candidate) are very reluctant to call anyone reason being we don't have enough proofs to put forward. and as far as we can see, there's no proof to that here aswell. i believe if such should happened under this context it will be very difficult to hold onto the evidence as it will surely leak ether by candidates themselves, sponsors or the staff of the agency themselves.
i find it rather dubious offer letters are distributed under the current rumoured circumstances without the traditional process and criterias including performing medicals on successful ones.

So far more of merit have collected their APLs than those that are based on stakeholder's consideration. The issuance is still ongoing. Nothing like interview for both GT and EH applicants. #FACT: If nobody here comes up with some kind of proof/evidence to show this particular recruitment has finally gotten to an end, then it just means two things.
1) The offers currently rumoured to be shared now is not curled from the pool of successful candidates from this particular recruitment, could be back door.

2) Everything stands to be a rumour here and for a fact generated by one singular source, reason being no one has been able to answer critical questions put forward here to show the letters given out are from this particular recruitment including simple questions like how the successful ones were contacted.

If it's from this particular recruitment, then it's just a matter of time before every hidden arrangements come out to bay, no point panicking. for a fact i know like two candidates with very high scores and intimidating credentials, if there's no celebrations here then my people, there's a problem somewhere.

The update I shared was that we will be assuming duties in April. I didn't say April 1st. April has 30 days in it.

I also said we expect to hear back from them before the end of March. The key word is EXPECT.

For those who still have doubt, whenever a federal agency sends list to the federal character commission for vetting and collection of certificate of compliance, technically the recruitment process has ended

Fortunately, this happened before the interview process. Meaning interview no longer holds for this particular recruitment. FCC sent the last badge of list back to NCDMB last week for onward APL issuance.

The only process remaining is the issuance of APL which should land in the coming days depending on the ES orders.

Thank you, Here comes the real issue, checking to confirm one spot in the list with FCC just in case we find ourselves in precarious situation during this APL sharing phase . This is due to some stories in the past where we hear that some staff(HR) in some of these agencies can play a fast one by not notifying some of the sucessfull candidates and names substituted subsequently.

Therefore,
If there's anyone Close to the workings or on the knowing of the formation of things at Fcc OR the concern Agency who can breakthrough to help check a name for me should pls indicate #the person and i can have an understanding on the matter. Thanks!!

Dont forget to pray at your spare time for this country to be better aswell if that's possible at all. These people called our leaders seems not to be concerned about our wellbeing like you would on yourself.
