emmasoft: @Umargarr you don't need to fill another mandate. The Registrars who are in charge of dividends work with the CHN of investors when processing dividends and once they have it, irrespective of the stockbroker you used it will be processed. It's even the reason we encourage investors here to provide thier current CHN to a second or third stockbroker they wish to use in other to avoid any issues when it comes dividend processing. Well appreciated and God bless |
Investment › Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Umargarr(m): 11:44am On Oct 01, 2023 |
@emmasoft, Please help me shed some light on this: I have an existing account with broker A, I now used the same chn to open another account with broker B, do I need to have a fresh mandate for broker B before I get dividend assuming I have the same stock (like dangcem) with both brokers? Thanks.
Quote author=emmasoft post=my dividends from 126118692] Zenith Bank interim dividend and any other dividend
For everyone who has not received Zenith bank interim dividend, just relax especially for those who have been receiving through their mandated bank account before now, except for the first timers which may mean that your signature specimen is not with the registrar and if they have not keyed into the automation of collecting investors details from cscs. In any case, you can raise the alarm after COB on Tuesday 3rd of October if no credit alert.
Note that payment of dividends is not based on the bank you are using because there is NUBAN (Nigerian Uniform Bank Account Number) which is standardized for all the banks and uniform with the first 9 digits to indicate the particular bank and the specific account in that bank while the last digit is just to check the validity of the other 9 digits.
So the most likely arrangement as per payment will either be by surname, registrar's assigned account number or the registrars just obey a simple regulator's rule of dividend payment. Remember all transfers in Nigeria also involve NIBSS (Nigeria Inter-Bank Settlement System) which may also have their rules of engagement.
In all just calm down so far you are qualified for any dividend declared by a listed company, you will get it if it's not older than 12 years except if the law has changed based on what the federal government proposed some years back.[/quote] |

I appreciate hugely. God bless onegentleguy: ...absolutely! A listing peg of a range of N75--100 is very possible!
There's a post I made, which was an analysis and breakdown of certain figures as it relates to the proposed merger. But for some unfathomable reason, it didn't make it to this place. I did try to post it here following repeated request from some fellows a few hours after the scheme document was made public but got a ban and the post was also taken down.
A few persons who got the post through other channels also tried to put it up here but they too were banned and the post also taken down. I made 2 more attempt and the same thing happened, so I had to give up.
Not trying to insinuate or infer anything though. ...it could be a software related hitch on Nsempa. I don't bother about stuffs like that. I just try to help when I can!
It is well. |

IyaTola: Help us with some recommendations na
Let me tell everyone something important. To succeed in this cryptotrading business, you need a community of experienced traders.
This what the premium group offers in a stronger environment than this general group.
Many of you only think the premium group is just about signals.
Signals is like 10% of it all.
You can get signals for free.
But no signal group gives gems coins that has future prospects.
We bought four of them today and non came from me!
So it's just on you!
A holder takes more money than day traders at the long run!
Please be guided with DOGECOIN.
The end MIGHT be near!
The hyper might be moving to a different coin.
It would still crash, don't get rekt!
Just finished a training session with my mentor and a group of traders from the UK.
I paid $10 to be in that circle! |

CashDiMkpa: Q2' 2020 interim dividends have now been declared in full and payment is being awaited. Its not over yet though. A few companies declare interim dividend when releasing their Q3 reports so more is likely to be announced next month. These include
- Nestle - Seplat - Nigerian Breweries - Total (sometimes) - Okomu Oil (Sometimes)
NB and Total may skip this year but the other 3 may still declare. Please is Seplat a good buy at current price? |

As a family discourse, it's this teasing and jokings that spice-up the discussions here, they make the reading exciting, we are enjoying every bit of it with no-harm meant, keep up the good job we are really benefiting, without the teasings it will be very dull reading pages here daily.God bless. We are one family of investors. The truth is that as one advance in age he drop some certain things as maturity set in. Most of things we said is what we feel based on what around us, which will guide our investment decision, some might come to pass while some might fail. Am seeing everyone here as partner in progress that's why I have chose in life not to pick fight with anyone, but always to pursue peace with all people as Bible tells us to do. We are here to help one another, this days I have reduces the number of my post, only to show face when I feel I can help. I have been in stock investment for more than a decade, has experience both the ugly and good side of it. With wealth of experience through practical participation, has bring a lot of people into investing in NSE, because through my experience, I perfectly understand, that NSE is one of the most safest place to invest in Nigeria, if not number one. So friends, let no one see my post as a challenge or competition, but to see it just as a personal view, through my research/observation which might come true or might not come true. But never intended to monkey Hunt or mislead. One more thanks, I will appreciate if unguided comments/ abusive language can be set aside. We can always correct without insult, because no one is perfect, we all make mistakes at one point or the other, and we all learn every day. Thanks for your understand, one love. |
