This 10% limitation on NSE no be ham.....there has been no significant offer for total since yet no way of selling beyond the current N88. Psew!

Without dat 10% limit, volatility fit finish some people on bad days. Imagine some stock dropping by 80% or more on dat day as u dey try to exit but you can't cos some other guys are ahead of you in line. embarassed cry embarassed

Q2' 2020 interim dividends have now been declared in full and payment is being awaited. Its not over yet though. A few companies declare interim dividend when releasing their Q3 reports so more is likely to be announced next month. These include

- Nestle
- Seplat
- Nigerian Breweries
- Total (sometimes)
- Okomu Oil (Sometimes)

NB and Total may skip this year but the other 3 may still declare.

Please is Seplat a good buy at current price?

This is serious, this is the first time I saw this thread on page 2 of investment. Does it mean you people are tired or dissatisfied by turn of events in the market

Thanks a lot Mcy, you won't believe that it is even cashcraft that has some of the historic (older) ones. The others seem to start from 2014.
Your response was timely....
You're welcome.
Cashcraft has one of the best site for tracking history of stocks with much earlier dates but they've not been updating it in recent times and the "handwriting" is not so good.
I hope the coy will embrace digital trading as soon as possible so as to keep in vogue and relevant to modern day trading.

Wapco 13.
That guy was selling codedly at 13.50 earlier, guess he's the one selling down and creating panic for more people.
Don't know why he's selling anyway.

That simply show that NSE has long become a BURIAL GROUND where investors fortunes die and decay quietly.

NYSE is the place to be. I'm a living TESTIMONY.

Thank me later.

A burial ground that you find so difficult to leave alone. Are you an undertaker?

Good day all.
Please when someone sells his/her shares after qualification date, does the person still qualify for the dividends of the share?.
Say for example I own 10 shares of GTB and qualification for dividend is peged at 2 sept but I sold the shares @ 3 sept, will I still qualify for dividend worth of 10 share of GTB after selling.
Thank you.

Good morning all,
please i am just starting my journey in investment,
i opened an account with meritrade, funded the account and i tried placing my first order,
i wanted to buy 3000 unit of wapco
from there equity calculator i got this
naira
consideration 39,750
commission fee 536.63
fees 153.26
estimated total 40,439.89

when you click on submit button the total will increase to N43,855.77.

one of there representative sent me there charges and the total for buy is 1.82625%

1.82625% OF N40,439.89 IS N738.53 the total will be 41,178 BUT the final balance is N43,885.77
a difference of N2677
does anyone understand there calculation.
thank you
