Politics / Re: President Goodluck Jonathan's Reply To Obasanjo's Letter by umuahiacctv: 5:31am On Dec 23, 2013
slightlyMad:

Obasanjo has a sound mind and matured one for that matter when being interviewed.
he is so confident, he finds time to be comic.

Jonathan will rather smile with that cartoon looking nostril, or put his hand in his pocket when talking to elders all because a camera is about to snap him and would be uploaded to nairaland.
You sound as if mr President's letter is grinding your heart. I know you are refering to the kenya pis, It was made to tell Obasanjo who is boss and secondly to avoid a killer handshake.

yibomustgo: Jonathan's response is flat and lame. There is no substance in this response. He just mentioned the allegations Obasanjo raised but failed to defend himself with facts. Jonathan failed woefully in his answers to the allegations Obasanjo made. His supporters and loyalists should be disappointed tonight with this response.
As slippery as your mind is ,you should have been the one to be pained for the balloon of your gang-up against Mr President has ben puntured. Go nad tell your pay masters that they should look for another egg to hatch as the one they were sitting on is already rotten.

yibomustgo: Jonathan did not address Obsanjo's allegations. What he has done is to just repeat the allegations and denied doing them. He tried to give Obsanjo some body shots while doing it. I don't see this a good response to what Obasanjo asked in his letter.

Jonathan failed to address the corruption allegations i.e Stellah Oduah and co....

Jonathan failed to address his talk about only Ibos voted for him and Ibos being his backbone....

Jonathan failed to address the allegation of Al-Mustapha release....

Jonathan failed to address the insecurity questions in the country....

Jonathan failed to answer the question of supporting opposition parties with the promise that they support him for re-election...

Jonathan failed to address the problem he caused in Rivers State as sitting Governor, Amaechi is being humiliated by police and GEJ loyalists...

Jonathan has failed to address the allegation of weapons being shipped to Enugu and not the rest of the country.......

There are more questions to be answered.
You are negativity personified.Give the letter to your friends to read for you. Bitter entity.

TechWalker007:

Now you are beginning to make sense.
That's the point we are making. If you field the wrong person, GEJ will coast to victory again.
Some APC fellow keep thinking "whoever" is fielded will defeat GEJ.
That is the biggest challenge APC have now, their presidential candidate.
The core North will not vote for a Rochas, Amaechi or Fashola no matter their perceived competence.
The SW will hardly vote for a Buhari. Not to mention the MB, SS, SE and Christian North.
...That means...the deal is done

saved: O God Almighty! Let all enemies of Nigeria and innocent Nigerians that have stolen or looted from our treasury fight themselves to death irrespective of Tribe, Religion and Political party. Oh Lord, protect & preserve the innocents, cause an ambushment against the wicked ones through Jesus Christ we raise our supplications unto thee. Amen!
Stop disturbing God abeg,He was there when all these started but couldnt change anything. May be it was His way to tell us the we(us) are in charge of our affairs. How come we always disturb him with prayer for good nation and we go back to destroy the nation with our innordinate wishes and aspirations.

Fadelex: sorry to say this, president Jonathan is still a learner when it comes to politics, u can't fight all your perceived enemies at the same time, he got it wrong when he decided to fight amaechi. amaechi is a strong character and obviously has no political future so he has absolutely nothing to lose in getting dirty with d president. today, no governor's forum. this is a forum where the president was hoping to table his 2015 ambition but that is gone now. you can't fight obj, ibb, atiku and others at d same time and have an octogenarian bamanga tukur as your defendant. in 2012 election in US, when the ground became so hot for Obama, president Clinton came to his rescue without which mitt Romney woulda floored Obama. this was d same role obj played in Jonathan ascending to throne in 2011. I know power is sweet and it is almost impossible for Jonathan not to contest in 2015 but he's going in awrong way. his enemies are increasveryday. I can't predict where this will end, but it will be easier for a Carmel to pass through needle eye than for Jonathan to win 2015 elections
You are wrong in your last statement as elections either in ondo or anambra or in the year 2015 do not take place in your mind, so wait and see.

I dropped off my wife at federal medical centre umuahia for her first visit since she became pregnant three months ago. As usual I hurried off to my place of work to seek for the day's bread.
I came back by 5:47pm. Inquiring from my wife how the day at the hospital went, she told me that she escaped calamity by slight providence. The story goes like this: she was seen by a student doctor who asked her if she has treated malaria and she said 'NO' then the doctor interacted with her and prescribed some drugs for her .
On reaching the FMC pharmacy to pay and procure the prescribed drugs, the pharmacist was alarmed and refused to sell the drug after knowing that my wife's pregnancy is just 3 months old. In the same phamarcy today while my wife was getting her other drugs, this same pharmacist who dectected that the prescribed drug for my wife was wrong told one of her assistants in the phamarcy to get her calcium ,behold the assistant erronously brought a can of another drug .This drew the anger of the pharmacist and the rest was story. Also in that same hospital today while she was in the consulting room (where you have about 4 student doctors) a student doctor was asking her collegues if she can add IBUPROFEN to a pregnant lady's drugs. Her question was visited with a tunderous 'hei'
my question now becomes :If such flaws could be witnessed in a days visit, are we safe?...and what of those who are not literate enough to know that some medications are restricted during certain circumstances?. Doctors in the house please help

Imagine people who have shelter and family will leave the east with all the petty-trading opportunities and farming and go to Lagos or Abuja to live in an uncompleted building and relying on begging to live. And I ask 'is it sane?' enough of this needless tribal bashing . Here in umuahia they line up near the govt. House begging with few weeks babies. Ebonyi and akwaibom takes 90 percent of the stock
