Ghana have capacity to carryout about 1500 tests per day but they have conducted more tests than any other country in Africa. Here is their secret.

Ghana have tested over 130,000 the highest in Africa. They are doing something. 1000 samples for example are grouped into 100 groups with 10 in each group. Samples of each member in a group are put together and tested. If the combined sample in a group tests positive, individual samples in the group will be tested individually to identify the positive case. If the combined sample tests negative, individual samples won't be tested. So the result of 1000 cases are determined by conducting just 100 real tests.
