Nigeria shall survive |
Nigeria shall be great in our lifetime. |
My heart bleeds to see Nigerians tearing their passports. Please, if you're nuturing the thought to mutiliate your passport think about these: 1. You're actually hurting yourself because you paid for the passport you're about to tear. You're about to waste the value acquired through your hard-earned money. 2. Some of the passports you see people tearing online are actually the expired ones, so think twice before following suit. Please, don't join the bandwagon. 3. No country will accept your entry without the Nigeria Passport. Tearing your passport is in a way, you preventing yourself from leaving the country any time you wish. 4. Even if you're already abroad, you will be needing the passport or acquire a new one once your stay is expired. This is appkicable unless you're a dual citizen. 5. You are free to express your anger, but know that you can't by any inche change your place of birth which is Nigeria. Please, do not lose hope in Nigeria. Let's hope for the very best of the just concluded election. |
I once did not touch a money for three weeks and could not do any trasaction. Up till now I cannot buy tomaoes, vegetables, fruits and others. My only saving grace is that I buy foodstuff in bulk... (but how many people can afford to by food in bulk?) I once have to carry byke from one end of Ibadan to another end paying 4× transport fee to a family member's shop in order to access the little cash from which I paid the byke man. Ussd transfer will not work too. I once saw a guy (well dressed) on my way in search for cash (which resulted in futility). He was sitted beside on the road resting after he has trekked for several hours from wherever he was comming. I almost cried forgeting we were in the same situation cause I was trekking too. I work from home, but I always pity those who commute to work everyday. We have a lot of terrible leaders with no human feelings and who lack emphaty in this country |
All things are possible |
Owontime:Isn't regional government, or better, true federalism through restructurung more feasible and appealing? Initiation of the seccession process is not bad for "south east" though. |
baralatie:Anything is POssible |
Yes, but anything is possible. |
Confirmedzombie:Now you resulted into attacking me personally by calling me "brainwashed". I believe you can write your comment without these personal attacks. I'm still waiting for you to show me exactly where I wrote anything about "mandate" or similar expression. |
Don't just read, comment your opinion too. |

Congratulations and please sir, Mr. President Elect, are these possible for the new Nigeria? 1. 24/7 Electricity for all, both in rural and urban areas. 2. Implementation of correct labor laws and policies that prevent unnecessary extortion of workers (abolition of contract staffing by banks, and slavery treatments by foreign establishments). Salary enforcement law (minimum wage) for private businesses. 3. Proper credit system that enables people to buy stuffs using credit cards? 4. Loan programs with ultimate transparency for small and medium establishments. 5. Establishments of several technical and non-technical skill acquisition centers for youth development (like in china). 6. Creation of paper (or polytene) currency notes for #1 and #2, phasing out the use of #500 and #1000 currency notes and reintroduction of Nigeria Kobo coins currency. 7. Re-visitation of the Nigerian Constitution towards restructuring and establishment of true federal status. 8. Provision of cheap and proper housing through government-private partnership. 9. Proper funding and monitoring for researches and research centers in higher institutions. 10. Handing over of idle natural resources and solid minerals to regional governments for proper monetization. 11. Strengthening of Nigerian military might, plus deep technical involvements for soldiers and military officers. FELLOW NIGERIANS, ADD YOURS TOO. https://tribuneonlineng.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/nigeria-map-and-question-mark-2.jpg |
