Sometimes, it is inferiority complex for Africans to put on suit.
You will see universities and lecturers forcing students to put on suit for their academic project defense. Thinking it makes them look smart.
Are there not Yoruba cloths that are smart and can as well replace suit? Is our hot weather not inclement enough to discourage one from wearing suit?
Will it not be good if: 1. Science is taught in both native language and English up to Secondary School level. 2. You create your videos contents (YouTube, Instagram etc.) and blog posts in both English and your native language. 3. Students are mandated to on Fridays speak only native language in schools and in their classes?
MALIGNANTGuest: I Liked the way you responded without Insults. It depicts maturity and exposure. You may be wrong but your approach will get u a mind blowing opportunity that's if you don't already have one. Keep it up.
Now I said you may be wrong because I don't expect Niger Republic to speak Swahili but I expect Namibia to speak same. I guess most Southern African countries speak Swahili and the number you have been to matters too
140oladayo: Afonjas and noise.Op try to also find out why afonjas are the most dirtiesst black tribe in the world and while yoru bad girls don't wash their pant and mess too much.Afonjas and noise.Op try to also find out why afonjas are the most dirtiesst black tribe in the world and while yoru bad girls don't wash their pant and mess too much....
Learn to appreciate good things about others, so you can be celebrated too.
How is the screenahot different from what I wrote?
6. Yoruba is official language in some Brazillian states and municipalities. Yoruba vocabulary is also used in the Afro-Brazilian religion known as Candomblé, in the Caribbean religion of Santería in the form of the liturgical Lucumí language and various Afro-American religions of North America.
Paretomaster1: Hausa, and Swahili are the 2 most spoken languages in Africa , with many claiming Swahili to take the lead, but I disagree because of all the African countries I have been to, am yet to see people speaking Swahili the way HAUSA is being spoken.
Last country I was is Niger Republic, and I tell you I only blend in because I can speak Hausa, and the people don't speak English but French...
There is hardly any African country you go, and don't find Hausa speakers.
World renown media Houses in US, Britain, French, Germany etc have been transmitting in Hausa since before Nigeria Independence .
Why did you think the Hausas are usually vast in current affairs, and politics even with little education?? They are always glues to their transistor radio where they listen to world news, and events broadcasted in their mother tongue...
Good to see your points stated. I can't be a judge here, but thanks for educating us.
Yoruba is the most liked and most influential African Language. And should be adopted as all african languagea
1. Yoruba, when spoken, sounds like music to the non native. So it a language that can help calm the nerve.
2. Yoruba language is very easy to learn. New learners can start speaking it just in days of learning.
3. Most influential African music are written in Yoruba.
4. When Yoruba speakers speaks, non speakers ussually feel its the original language of their great parents of African root.
5. Yoruba is spoken in the West African countries of Nigeria, Benin Republic, and parts of Togo, Ghana, Sierra Leone, parts of the Ivory Coast and the Gambia, therefore constituting one of the largest single languages in sub-Saharan Africa. Outside of Africa, Yoruba (Lucumi/Lukumi) is indigenous to Bahia in Brazil, Cuba, Trinidad and Tobago, and some parts of Jamaica—specifically Abeokuta. It is also the official language of the Yoruba descendants/people of "Oyotunji" village in the United States of America.
6. Yoruba is official language in some Brazillian states and municipalities. Yoruba vocabulary is also used in the Afro-Brazilian religion known as Candomblé, in the Caribbean religion of Santería in the form of the liturgical Lucumí language and various Afro-American religions of North America.
7. Yorubas are one of most accommodating, friendly and most spiritual people you can meet. They have the culture of respect, honesty and integrity (Omoluabi).
Yoruba should be adopted as the general spoken language of Africa
Zooposki: Zenith once offered me a dollar credit card, but I did not take them up on their offer so I think there are banks that already offer credit cards, though I’m not sure if they offer them in Naira. A banker should know.
Good. But they should offer it to every of their customers.
CodeTemplar: I blame the commercial scammers called banks those people bank with. If your commercial bank takes your transaction history into account and give you a small loan is that bad?
Imagine a young hustler approaches them for a 500k loan and they fustrate them away, but a 'big' man who is owing them like N10 billion will get a marketer assigned to satisfy him for the fear of losing their money if he dies of work stress.
Banking industry, very unbalanced industry!
The banks too are not trying enough. That's why if an FG policy about credit systems is in place, the banks will have no choice but to comply
Valkrie: They behave like touts and fraudsters....!!! Any one insult you nah to give am double and block the line. Got similar message concerning an individual I don't know and i replied I woule report them to CBN he quickly delete the defermatory message he sent......!!!
Those people are crooks...how can they give people 7 days loan with interest of more than 40% and dont expect default.....? Very foolish people...!!
I think the government need to clamp down on the idiots especially the ones with no CBN approval..!!
The person that called me is not cultured at all. More like he is schizophrenic.
Illegal Loan Company: Nigerian Government Should Adopt The Credit Card System Before It's Late
I just got called by one worker from NGNLoan who insulted me, harrased me and raised several curses on me over a borrower whose name I don't even recognise.
This number called me: 09042952881
I first saw a message on my phone three days ago where they indicated that the person whose name was give was a borrower and is a thief who is on the run with their money. They ask me to call and warn the person - someone I don't even know. And today, they called to start insulting me and raise curses on me over issues I know absolutaly nothing about.
I think the federal givernment of Nigeria should start work on creating credit systems that will allow individuals who are in urgent need to have access to credits through credit cards instead of the unnecessary high interest rates and defamation by the loan companies.
It was a bitter experience for me today to get called on my private line by this number 09042952881 and to get insulted and cursed without any provocation.
Credit System Credit system will help people to be credit responsible as they will want to work to raise their credit scores. They will also be less likely to borrow from fraudulent loan companies who operate illegally to take advantage of poverty situations of Nigerians.
Discountsempai: Very sad to note that Z library has gone...it was my go to site for research, and even presentaitons...once gave a well recieved presentation thanks to the site.
Have been forced to download Tor. Well, it does work on Tor.
The problem is, in most parts of the world, we don't have access to good textbooks. So, unless someone can come up with a legit site where you can pay for a download of all the books you need in return for a payment in your country's currency...Z-lib it is.
This is the actual issue. Not many people can pay confinently using usd. Those publishing website should find ways to implement payment in Naira.
