It is the political tension building up I am concerned about which is political and would affect the economy and affect investors not just talking about politics in general. Such talks should not result in insults or tribal sentiments. A lot could happen in the coming days. One oil giant at 7am this morning has asked all staff to work from home until further notice.

Politics determines the economy direction and not he other way around. Even the foreign investors make their decisions based on political situations...There is political tension building up in the country and we want to pretend it doesn't concern the market or we shouldn't talk about it. Ordinary flyover foundation is taking 10months to build at VGC. 10 whole months just for foundation of one flyover ramp. After the foundation they would probably spend another year to mount the beams. Everyday equipment charges are being incurred, construction equipment on standby, accruing funds for them. Once in a while one iron bender will climb up to straighten one rod and that is it for the day while Lagosians suffer in endless morning and evening traffic. In 10months Wike has built a kilometre flyover from foundation to finish. In less than 6 years same Wike has completed 10 flyovers. But here in Lagos Sanwo-Olu is performing so they say. At the end the VGC project will be recorded to have been built with 30billion.
