Shuku0kukobambi: It's sad. Before 2015, i could go out and party with friends till 2am and drive back to woji where I was staying without any fear from any quarter. Pass by the patrolling police guys and hand them a bottle of Amarula. Once, one even asked for my number so he could give to his younger sister to call me, that she'll make a good wife
All that peace, freedom, fun ended when Amaechi defected to APC with Wike and mama peace on his matter.
Kidnapping, armed robbery etc became the order of the day. The real estate business has totally crumbled as folks have moved out. If you have friends among them, they'll tell you Very crazy something |

Shuku0kukobambi: If you don't stay in Rivers state or are not a Rivers indigene, you will not understand where we're coming from.
Compare the safety, freedom and tranquility we enjoyed between 2008 & 2013 when Amaechi was fully in charge with 1999 - 2007 of Odili and 2015 - till date of Wike.
Rivers indigenes and residents know where it all started from but then I agree with you that we should move on. back then it was only PDP. Since Amaechi defected to APC, the situation has been ugly. APC are not even involved in the elections (March 9th), but want to do everything for the AAC candidate (nobody knows him), so that he would defect to APC if he wins... Na fire fire. Wike and Amaechi are touts...but which Naija politician isn't. |

gurnam: Abians will never consider individuals on merit for governorship, they will vote for only one party and that party is PDP no matter who the party presents
Let Alex Otti decamp to PDP today and you will see his chances brighten to be Abia Governor Not entirely true. Alex Otti won the 2015 guber. It was people like Aberibe,Theodore Orji and Olisa Metuh that scuttled it by intimidating the returning officer to accept some aba-based cooked_up results, which eventually made Ikpeazụ the Governor |

aswani: Please sir, if you have established yourself (i.e good job, house and assets), I beg of you not to come to Naija to find a wife. You are best of finding someone over there who knows how you have to struggle to achieve what you have. A high proportion of women that go abroad, as a result of marraige, to an established environment are the worst behaved. If you are not established, no wahala, take a wife and you can both struggle together to make it. If you are, your best bet is to find a woman without papers over there who will fully appreciate what she has come into having seen the other side of things. A word is enough for the wise, don't add yourself to the group of people that regularly tell their stories of regret. Find a woman here, yes. But one without papers, na the same thing with bringing from Naija. She go change am for you once her documents don legit. |

iSage: Most of the people in European countries don't use Mobile data primarily, it's more of a substitute for Wi-Fi if somehow it's not available. WiFi is available almost everywhere--Schools, train stations, hospitals, restaurants... Just name it. Mobile network is allbeit useless for them.
Talking about the economy, an average man in France will remove 5 dollars with ease compared to an average Nigerian. Not far from the truth. I pay 7.99€/month for 1.5 GB. Sometimes I don't even exhaust it. But the public data/WIFI is capped though. Subscription at home is the main positive. |

MXrep: The governors should not be receiving money but generating money. Why won't they be lazy? The feeding bottle structure breeds laziness. States should be the one paying FG not FG paying states The constitution is flawed. That's a given. But the electorates are a serious clog in the development of the country. Politicians generally are selfish. The people must challenge them, remind them of their promises, vote them out and retire them if they defect to another party (this undermines democratic principles) On the contrary, the electorates hail them. After 20 years of democracy, Nigeria is the poverty capital of the world. One of the most profitable businesses in Nigeria/Africa is politics. The current arrangement is not working, and may never work, but the governors have contributed to its failure. Pocketed smaller governments If the electorates don't become active, even a federated Nigeria would not work. |

MXrep: This can only be true after restructuring. The way things are right now too much power is concentrated in abuja. Federal government decides almost everything Not true. Abuja is hardly holding anybody back. Every state gets monie every month. And Abuja doesn't tell them how to use these monies. Even when the president did, with the Paris fund, some of the governors still embezzled the fund. Do you know how much is received by SS governors per annum? But see how the place be like. Governors are as lazy as the electorates, who do not challenge them, that's the problem. A situation where some governors are hailed for paying salaries or grading a road....like it is their money |

BeautifulMind2: Governorship was more important to them In reality, Gubernatorial elections should be the Most important. If your governor worked, you would care about Buhari. Governors pocket LGAs and Councils, the closes governments to the people. But I have no idea why Nigerians still don't get it |
