A Nigerian woman and 3 others have been executed in Saudi Araba for drug trafficking, bringing the number of people put to death in the Middle-East country this year to 53.Confirming that a Nigerian woman was executed in Saudi Arabia, the country's Interior Ministry disclosed that she put to death along with two Pakistani men and a Yemeni man in Islam's holiest city, Mecca, on Monday.

While the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has refused to yield to the demand of abolishing the death penalty which it argued serves as a deterrent against crime, human right experts across the world on the h repeatedly raised concerns about the fairness of trials in the kingdom which is governed under strict Islamic law.

A new twist of event revealed that Shade Ladipo wasn't sacked nor did she quit her job from Silverbird. It was all an April Fool prank to introduce Tinsel star and actor, Gideon Okeke as a new host on the show.

Recall that we reported yesterday that the media personality claimed she was not allowed to finish her programme for the day in the office, before she got sacked. Shade Ladipo who claimed she was sacked by Silverbird for being controversial, said in her video;

“So apparently, Silverbird fired me because apparently, I’m too controversial, I say too much things I guess, trying to settle me, I guess, I don’t know but you know what, I don’t know, I’m like okay, that’s fine.”

During the finale of Big Brother Reunion show last night ,the housemates were made to undergo polygraph tests on some controversial issues surrounding their stay in the house .

Nnamdi Kanu who reacted to the alleged plan by the Federal Government to arrest him with the International Police, has stated that he can cause trouble for Nigeria if provoked.The IPOB leader who promised to make Nigeria ungovernable if provoked, stated that he was a British citizen and so could not be subjected to any Nigerian law. He further dared the Federal Government to come for him if it could, stressing that the bail revocation was a ploy by the Federal Government to make the International Police stop him from travelling freely across the world to make a case for the independence of Biafra. Nnamdi Kanu who further threatened to cause trouble for Nigeria if provoked, said in his statement;

“I am not a Nigerian citizen; therefore, your bail revocation is completely meaningless to me. My devotion to the absolute and puritanical pursuit of the total restoration of the sovereignty of the Republic of Biafra is unwavering.

“My lawyers are waiting for an Interpol red notice against my name and all hell will break loose. If the intention of Binta Nyako is to curtail my travels, thereby limiting IPOB diplomatic offensive, then let me assure Biafrans that our enemies have failed.

“Should they request Interpol intervention in this matter, I will give my lawyers here in the UK the instructions we need to launch a no-holds-barred legal assault against Nigeria. So, I am waiting for them. Europe and Interpol are not a bunch of wild beasts like Nigerian law courts and her security services. In Europe there is rule of law which is also binding on Interpol.

“The treasonable felony charge they levelled against me is not a crime that could be committed by merely carrying Biafran flag about and preaching secession, but one that could only be committed using guns, bombs and other weapons, which my group has never been associated with. I warn the Federal Government not to dare me because I’m capable of causing trouble for Nigeria.”

Mr Real who became a viral sensation after the release of his 'Legbegbe' single in 2017, has stated that he is not one-hit singer as he believes so much in himself. Mr Real who spoke in an interview with Sunday Scoop, said he is not a one-hit singer because there is still a lot he has to offer the music industry.

He said; 

“Anyone who thinks I’m a one-hit wonder is not God because I know what I have and I believe in myself. If you always expect your next song to be bigger than the last, you may not release songs again. 2Baba has released many great songs but none is bigger than African Queen. As artistes, we just have to continue doing our best. It is only God who makes hit songs. For me, I think the most important thing is to remain relevant.”

On switching to RnB in his 'Antidote' single, the singer said he wanted Nigerians to see another side of him. He said, “I am a versatile artiste. I want people to know that I don’t do street songs alone. They should not be surprised if I do fuji or any other genre of music. But I don’t plan to leave street music; my next single will be a street vibe.”

Tope Omage, the first female Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Director of Finance, has stated that any woman who wants to go far should respect her husband. In an interview with Punch, the first female Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Director of Finance who recounted her experience working  for 37 years in the banking and financial sector, stated that women always have lots of challenges when their husband doesn't agree with them.

Tope Omage who further disclosed that any woman who wants to go far should learn to respect her husband, added that her husband helped her a lot at the height of her career. Here are excerpts from the interview below;

How were you able to balance your busy schedule and your family life so that none suffered?

They say behind every successful man, there is a woman. Behind every successful married woman, there is an understanding man. I am lucky to have a man who is my cheerleader, who encourages me and is not threatened by my success. And that is what a lot of corporate women, who are at the top of their careers, would tell you. If your husband does not agree with what you do, there will be lots of challenges.At the same time, any woman who wants to go far should learn to respect her husband. My husband helped me a lot. He understood a lot and I tried to use every resource available to me. When my mum was around, I used her. When I had to get home helps, I did. I also used gadgets such as deep freezers and microwave ovens.

When some women rise to the top of their careers, they start to disrespect their husbands. How were you able to avoid that trap?

It is a two-way thing. The Bible says, ‘Husbands, love your wives. Wives, submit to your husbands’. If you know somebody loves you, it is easier to submit because you know that whatever he tells you would not be detrimental to your well-being.A lot of men are threatened by their wives’ success. Every woman must know her husband. If you know your husband has inferiority complex, you wouldn’t lose anything by kneeling down for him as many times as possible if you want to keep your marriage.I am an executive committee member of the Women in Management, Business and Public Service. In WIMBIZ, most of our women are high corporate flyers and they still have their husbands because they understand what it means to respect one’s husband. If you must go high, you must be humble.A lot of men are looking for successful women to marry, but I would ask them, ‘Can you handle it?’ because he who pays the piper dictates the tune. She’s earning so much and you want to command her anyhow you like. So, when we are judging a case, we look at both sides.

An Offa Poly student identified as Ridwan Ajiboye, reportedly committed suicide after he was embarrassed by one of his lecturers over money from handout he was asked to sell to his course mates.The Offa Poly student who committed suicide is said to be a National Diploma 1 student of the Civil Engineering Department, and also the son of a traditional title holder in Iragbiji in the Boripe Local Government Area of Osun State.

The deceased drank some quantity of an insecticide and according to sources, his parents said they were not interested in investigating the circumstances that surrounded his death.The  Public Relations Officer, Students Union Government of the polytechnic, Olayinka Owolabi, who confirmed the incident when contacted by a Punch's correspondent, said nobody knew why the deceased killed himself.

“Some of his neighbours heard his cry and rushed to his room where they met him gasping for air. He was taken to hospital but he eventually died. They said he took poisonous substance but we do not know what he took and nobody can say why he took the substance" he said. 

It was also gathered that another ND student of the Estate Management Department, Maryam Fasasi, reportedly attempted suicide days after Ajiboye died. The student who also drank the Sniper Insecticide, was rescued and revived at a hospital. Maryam who was discharged on Saturday, also misplaced N45,000 which was the proceeds from handouts given to her to sell by one of her lecturers and she attempted to kill herself because of this.

A hotelier has also slammed Richard Nnadi of Escape Nightclub, who according to her is also owing her some money off a past deal.The hotelier who slammed Richard Nnadi, alleged that he once brought some expatriates to her hotel.

According to her after they negotiated and the deal took off, he never paid. She further stated that he won't be getting his money, unless he pays up.

Richard Nnadi, the CEO of Escape Club which was shut down over a N120m debt has dropped names and according to him the highest amount owed at the club is N6.6m and those drinks were taken in two nights.Richard Nnadi who dropped names of his good customers in an explosive interview with Cool FM, disclosed that Davido, Bobrisky, Falz, Lati, Sujimoto are all on his list of good customers who never owe. He however disclosed that the least amount owed is N10,000.


According to Nightlife entrepreneur, he had to go public with his ordeal because it has become a norm for celebrities to drink on credit and then move to other clubs without paying.He however disclosed that an actor who doubles as a singer tops the list of 150 people owing him. According to him he is no longer going into nightlife, and he's got nothing to lose. He however promised to drop a list on April 1st if people owing don't pay.

He also specially thanked Davido for always paying his debt. According to the Nightlife entrepreneur, Davido supported him when "there was no light in his club". Richard Nnadi who specially thanked Davido for paying his debts, wrote on Instagram;
