switosman:Good! certainly, there is a good Mercury Inverter expert centre at Ogbatai Woji, Port Harcourt, but for mercury service centre, it’s here in Lagos, I would recommend you use the one over in PH, due to cost and timeliness, if it’s a service centre case, then the Engineer over there will take up the issue more easily. Call the phone line here, introduce yourself so I link you up to the Firm in PH. Call 08031138665 |
Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State has described his deputy, Professor Hafiz Abubakar, as too insignificant for government to orchestrate his removal from office as he (Abubakar) alleged. A statement by Commi-ssioner for Information, Youth and Culture, Malam Muhammad Garba, said: “Though the government holds the office of the Deputy Governor in high esteem, it however sees him as too insignificant for government to commit state resources to orchestrate his removal from office, talk more of attempt on his life.” The statement it also added that “to prove that the allegations made by the Deputy Governor were false, he was at Tuesday’s State Executive Council meeting and came with fewer security aides. “At the meeting, when the governor had to excuse himself to embark on a trip, he directed the Deputy Governor to preside over as usual, and that all the resolutions reached at the meeting are binding, something that would not have been accorded him by his political godfather.” Source:https://www.vanguardngr.com/2018/08/kano-govt-describes-deputy-gov-as-insignificant/amp/ |
unicmarket:Hope this helped |
Do some quick test on your inverter: By this simple way: Turn off your mains once the batteries are fully charged Switch on your max Load Time the discharge rate And compare with the first time you used it If you find a 70% reduction, certainly the batteries are bad If you find a 50% deduction, certainly the batteries are still fair If you find a 30% deduction, certainly the batteries are still good If you find a 15% deduction, certainly the batteries are in very good state Do you comparison as often as quarterly(year) Raise a concern to your vendor for warranty checks or replacement if after 5 months , there is a 50-60% reduction. Hope this helps someone... |

Goodnight readers! |
Learning is best before than after a mistake, beware and be safe |
I don’t think so boss, but this should be possible with the manufacturers, but I think it’s better you sell off the Lappy then replace with what you prefer, instead of wasting time and probably wasting money on a seemingly failed project. |

enilove:I support u jare!!! Now watch oga writer of the thread, I like that you are critical and observant, but only that you are one sided in your judgment, if truly you analysed critically that scripture and more in the book of exodus, you will find that the decision of Moses was actually the one we should be skeptical about, There is what is called the Will of God and also the Permissive will of God, when God says something and you bargain, and He allows it, most times it’s is permissive will. Such as the story of the young and Old prophet whom God had earlier told not to eat anything in the land where he was sent to, the old prophet came and decisived him, and the young prophet went back to God and God agreed, he did eat and as he was going the Lion met him on the way and tor him in pieces. So what? The children of Israel had a very bad mentality of unbelief and a stony heart, so for every request, they will complain to get water and food, they saw Gods mighty act and war effectiveness of Yahweh, but they said no, they wanted a god, this was and is really an unthinkable thing for the jealous God to take or bare, even you don’t you see it’s unreasonable?, why because 1. They where deep in unbelief 2. They forgot the wonders God did 3. They had no thanksgiving And many more This persons in charge of this where actually the older ones, whom God didnt allow to get into the promise land, that was the purpose of God letting them took for 40 years so that the older and unbelieving ones die and the younger ones are more malleable, but you know God did this in response to Moses prayer so they don’t die at once, but with time this virus robbed on the Children as they journeyed. If God had taken His own counsel then Moses children are still the children of Abraham, and that’s not a break in covenant. Another thing is that Moses was careful of WHAT PEOPLE WILL SAY, and certainly God doesn’t care about that, he had to answer the prayer of the servant anyway, And bros Moses plea was not a smart test, it was prayer. I hope you watch out on your research and don’t end up like the Children of Israel of old, God is perfect. If you say he isn’t, probably in your own world God bless the Nairaland |
Mercury Inverters Sukam Inverters Prag Inverters Sinergy Inverters Luminous Inverters Mpower Inverters Note: This brands are not in a particular order of preference. All of this inverters are Inverters I am 80% sure I have worked with and am 90% positive about, in all this Inverters there are some of them I like for flexibility sake and cost effective for low ranges of Inverters. Mercury and Mpower Inverters: this Inverters comes with Modified sine wave brands which are 1.2kva and 2.4kva, and are cheap and also good. In my next post, I will deal on Pure vs Modified sine wave Inverters Most of this Inverters comes with at least 1 year warranty, when purchased new. Choosing any of this brands depends wholly on your perception of cost, size, efficiency and mainly on service centres Let’s align and discuss briefly Cost of Inverters in Nigeria: Many of this inverter brands comes with their style of marketing, probably catch customer by beauty of presentation or additional features such as: 1. Low power consumption 2. Charges well under low voltage 3. Preservation of battery life 4. And so on Size of Inverters in Nigeria: Inverters comes in different sizes: and your choice is largely dependent on you and the portability with your location of installation. This varies along brands Efficiency of Inverters in Nigeria: Efficiency, one major thing to look out for, it’s a do as you said approach, what ever you find on the pack should be same with what you should experience, can be higher but not lower, if it’s said to carry your fridge for instance, it should according to the rating of the fridge you gave, and it should also give seem less current that won’t be responsible for distorting your appliances, ( Most Inverters listed here are safe in this light anyway). Service Centre of Inverters in Nigeria: This is most important, as it saves you in Anxiety, nothing is more painful than when you have a faulty inverter and there are no service centre or you can’t locate any around you, this becomes frustrating especially when you are still in your warranty period, so before buying your inverter, make sure you confirm location of service centres. That’s it for now. Happy Sunday Landers... |
generationz:Am recently created a thread here on Nairaland on the good and bad choices of Inverters, which am hoping will help many persons get the best anytime irrespective of where they are: It’s our sphere of influence and business, with safety of equipment assurance See link https://www.nairaland.com/4625369/inverter-may-useless-soon |
Inverters have remained the cheapest power conservation alternative today, getting a good education on it is more important than just buying any that ons when no power, so what are the things to consider before getting or relocating and inverter? In our series of Inverter gist, I will unveil the best way to prolong the life span of “power equipments” From Inverter to Solar

I found no evidence for this claim on batteries on wood containers, it seams unpractical, certainly it should leak electrolyte https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_the_battery For a bit on glass container theory |
GRACEGLORY:Ultimately, value comes first! Thanks for reading!!! |
Hi, good morning Nairalanders As we continue, I like to say a big thank you for following this thread, even though you should be the one thanking me ![]() Alright back to business, Installing properly with right tools: Inverters come with cables and cable locks for batteries and the inverter, otherwise called connectors, this connectors maybe copper-like materials, and are connected behind the inverter and to the battery, most or standard manufacturing companies give distinctions to the cables by indicating the positive terminal wire as red and the negative as black, which is a standard for engineers in connections Some engineers go to homes or sites with their own cables and cable locks, many a time due to the customer bought a used inverter or it’s a heavy duty inverter which needs more cabling among its batteries, before final terminal connection, you might notice that some use just the same colour codes for both negative and positive cables, this is both hazardous and costly, which could lead to fire, I believe you said “ fire keh ♂️“ yes, everything is risky with wrong technicians. So the colour codes must be properly distinguishable. Alright that’s enough for now. Hope to finish this series soon because it’s really going to be long. if you have questions, let it come in. |
The solar market is really getting busy, and as you can guess many false prophets may rise? “I believe you said, What do you mean?”, it’s just a joke I mean many false dealers will rise selling wrong or scamming buyers by the following ways 1. Selling extremely expensive deals: few persons are currently educated on what solar panel world is really like, and they want their problems solved in any way, be it to sell their house and buy the panels (“hope you know that’s a joke”), what I mean is buyers go extra mile to take advantage of this product, thereby being cheated and lose money they could have saved. 2. Selling “Used”instead of “New”: spotting the difference in used or new solar panels is one of the most difficult things to do by new buyers and really there might be some so called engineers that can also be fooled too, “Erin pa mi” (translated, “laughing”), so what? When buying your panels ensure you check the modules well for neatness and “scratches”, and also ensure you check for rusty or colour fade of the frames. An engineer reading this might say “Used or New, solar is solar”, but you see for me or other customers, getting to know I bought used when I payed for new is enough to get me annoyed, and I see myself as being fooled. 3. Selling poly as monocrystalline panels, na this one they pain pass! Chai!, although this two variations are both good and effective, but truth be told one is expensive than the other, Mono panels is expensive than Poly panels why?, there are variations, hope to make this my point of emphasis next post, but for now see below to spot the image difference to be continued... I’ ll Stop here today, hope you enjoyed this, ‘arklist’ try like the post to encourage me. I sell this particular Monocrystalline Solar panel for 47k as against online stores that sell from 55k upwards. So for 47k, and also with warranty and a cut in shipping cost to all parts of Nigeria. This sales are made from Lagos Tel: 090-7608-6952 Free consultation, on Inverters, Solar, Batteries.

Inverters are rapidly being used in homes and offices, but in all we have too many improper installers of this inverters, as many are there for just the money, it’s called “hit and run”. Here I will give intelligent detail on detecting your inverter was properly installed: Say after me “Number 1”, I hope you said that else you are disobedient and you will be flogged now, that’s a joke!!! First thing first Environment: This is key, by environment I mean where your inverter was installed, some persons for the fear of fire and less educated by the so called engineer, install their inverter in the generators room or by it, as if inverters where made to work with smoke as their fuel. Some even have their inverters installed in the house but with very little space for air, not too long they start praying for God to let the beeping stop, so they can finish watching a match or African Magic, ehen, African miracle ni... your inverter needs proper care, take it like a pet and not a slave; then your battery becomes happier, and lasts long both in duration and life span “This typing don they taya me sha” Say “Secondly” The Installation structure must be checked, most persons are of the ideology that batteries should not sit on bear ground, they say it will make it get bad. I laugh at them, but for the case of argument, I rather let it be on something, even though it’s not strongly opposed by me, I give my batteries the honour of being enthroned on something, even if it’s just a palette or racks. That idea of something under or not came from batteries that where used in the early 60s or so, this batteries where made in glass containers at that time, so whenever it’s charged and you leave it on the floor, due to the reaction between the batteries and the floor it gets discharged, owing this discharge to the Glass Containers, but you see we now used plastic which as no significant reaction with the floor!, anyway don’t let me bore you, Let’s keep our Fore fathers traditions! Say “Thirdly” Make una no vex, I am tired for now hope to continue this particular thread tomorrow!!! By the way We deal on Inverter Inspection, relocations, Sales and Installations! + free phone consultations I will drop my Number, but please no irrelevant questions abeg, or trying to know my prices so you can adjust yours abeg... You can address yourself as” Hello am “. “ from Nairaland, so I understand! Thank you for the reading!!! tel:08031138665 |

Online stores are really very expensive when it comes to the sale of Solar Panels, checking through the solar I was amazed at the prices, my sure bet is it must have being that they bought it expensive too, probably from regular resellers and not directly from main sellers. Solar Panels are becoming the main power alternative solution for the time and I suggest there is really more to the prices getting higher and higher in days to come, taking advantage of it now is just the best deal for any capable person. 250 Watts solar panels is a major fitting solar system for Homes and offices, due to its size and capacity, it fits the roof more and not too heavy, of an average weight of 20kg, which is very good. We become sceptical about the life span when we have a little or no understanding of it, as a matter of fact Solar panels are given 25years warranty, which means that’s just the starting point of its years of service? ‘See your eye’ I believe you said “ that’s a good one, wow” , so you see it’s a real and accurate investment for you and your family. Let’s stop here for now, more trails will be coming soon I sell this particular Monocrystalline Solar panel for 47k as against online stores that sell from 55k upwards. So for 47k, and also with warranty and a cut in shipping cost to all parts of Nigeria. This sales are made from Lagos Thanks for reading see you tomorrow!!!
