Atiku is not strategic, he was just fortunate to be picked as a running mate to Obasanjo which made him started seeing himself as a political juggernaut when the truth is, he is not politically strategic to know when to retreat and when to strike.


Atiku would have become President since 2019 if he was strategic and patient enough to support Goodluck Jonathan to finish his single tenure and return the ticket to North, of which Atiku was the most prominent Northern politician from the North as at that time but instead he mumuishly led a Northern political revolt against Goodluck Jonathan to join forces with Buhari and Tinubu to crown them Presidents. How Atiku felt he was more popular and preferred than Buhari to fly APC ticket in 2015 is the same mistake he is making today by seeing himself as more preferable and popular than Peter Obi to fly the coalition ticket even when all voices of reason keep saying let the Presidency stay in South till 2031?



Atiku, it seems Dele Momodu and Dino Melaye are your worst enemies always advising you wrongly for their own personal political ambition to become kitchen cabinet of the next President.



Atiku keep miscalculating and misfiring and shooting himself on the leg, maybe it's his destiny, just maybe and I used to like him a lot but if you sit down and analyze his political miscalculations, it's annoying.



Same way Wike and other PDP Governors kept telling you, allow then PDP Chairman Ayu who happens to be a Northerner like you the Presidential candidate go you said no, and everyone thought you and Buhari must have reached an inhouse agreement for him to rig you into power, at the end, it was just your usual pride and ego misleading you like always and you missed that opportunity again.



Atiku continue, I wish you well Turakin, but you no de try at all, Southeast have been your strongest support base, have sacrificed a lot for you but you refused to see reasons to sacrifice for them once and to pave way for your own Presidential ambition to come to reality, no wahala, well done Sir

The question is: where is Atiku getting money to prosecute presidential election? This should be his 4-5times now. If this man wins, will he not recoup all the money he has spent thus far? His greed for presidential power should call for concern. We are still suffering from the privatizations he didn't years ago. He is one of the reasons Nigerian is not having power today.

They are just using this moribund refineries to cash out. I still remember the billions of US dollars Buhari approved for this project, they went to load the tank of the refineries and said they are refining crude oil. They deceived NIGERIANS that the refineries are working.
How Nigerians forget all this is mystery to me.

In Edo State, Igbinedion family are spread in politics. Lucky Igbinedion was a local Government chairman and Governor for 8years. His brother was a local Government chairman. His younger sister is contesting for HORs to be a 3 times member. The niece is also Edo State House of Assembly member.

Nigeria politicians and their greed for power. The painful part is, they will still have people supporting and singing their praises. You have been to the Senate and you have done 8years as a Governor, what are you still looking for? Was these years not enough to execute your plans for the state? I don't blame this politicians, I blame Nigerians who will receive peanuts from them and start praising and supporting them. Just look at how he was using State money to fund APC because of his personal interest. The money he would have used to do something tangible for the state. All these unnecessary benevolent to the political party and others, hence they don't have enough money to work for the state. Many will still loot too.

That Atiku and Kwankwanso will be in the same party, I said it won't be possible and should that happen, 2023 votes sabotage will be repeated. Now add the factor of Obi also living ADC

Even with the united opposition, Atiku, Obi, Kwankwanso, Amaechi and co can't still defeat president Tinubu not to talk of when they are scattered into pieces.

I still wonder how Okowa and his successor were able to carry all the PDP structure in Delta and defected nto APC. It ultimately means they had a firm grip of the whole structure and were in good working relationships with them. It has never happened before in the history of Nigeria politics. Also, it is an indication of a good relationship between both leaders. Unlike other states where hardly has the new governor being sworn in, witch hunting starts, as if that was what they were elected to do.
The new governor did not necessarily have to decamp with his predecessor but he did. An indication that the plan may have been muted long before now. Delta state has been a PDP state like forever but nothing to show for it even when they were in the ruling party.
I am sure they made the choice to defect because of the leadership style of the President which is all encompassing irrespective of party affiliation.
Anyways, I am glad Delta state has aligned this current administration because I am sure there will be visible and meaningful progress soon than later.

Prior to 2023 Presidential primaries by the various political parties, 17 southern Governors held a meeting in Delta which you hosted as the Governor of Delta State. The communique that was read from that meeting was all Political parties must feed Southern Presidential candidates because a northerner just finished 8 years as president and it's the turn of a southern. APC gave their ticket to a southern while you collaborate with Atiku for Atiku to win PDP Presidential ticket. It's on record that the Delta PDP delegates you controlled then voted for Atiku against a southern aspirant. You betrayed Southerners and you expected them to vote for you so you can be Vice president. Okowa, your greed is legendary. Now, you are regretting for picking the ticket.
