The B.Sc (Hons) degree is awarded when a course of study is completed within the maximum number of years allowed to study such a course in that particular university. Whereas, a student gets a B.Sc degree without honours when he completes his course of study outside the stipulated duration.

For instance, the minimum number of years required to study Engineering in any Nigerian University is 5yrs, and the maximum number of years is between 7-8yrs.

If a student completes his study within 5-8yrs, he gets B.Sc (Hons). But, if he does so after 8yrs, he gets B.Sc without the honours.

NB: This is how it is in Nigeria.

Exactly.. No need for further argument also students are awarded without honour when they finished with a pass which does not fall into any class of degree. You got it perfectly well.

hello all, please anyone that has attended interview should update the house, many of us want to know whether they give transport fare to peeps from Lagos or not to make decisions.

No tfare ooh hold your money well well. Questions were based on what you applied for. They were confused sef because some of us were part of last yr who were unable to write the test, some applied this year February for another vacancies so there were lot of confusion. I was interviewed based on the roles advertised this year not the management trainee of last year oct. Finally they dont sound like they pay higher. Well you can attend different things might b for different folks sha.

Why

I got the sms too slated for March Wednesday 15th although the first sms said 14th Wednesday and when i checked calender 14th is Tuesday, another sms came in and the correct date was stated 15th Wednesday. I scored 75%. What i dnt knw is there was nothing stated to come along with like Cv or credentials.

Its really so annoying..sometimes i have to stay outside within my compound to enjoy the data services. Its so quack.
