Yes. Is the Owode bus stop. Ferma did one rubbish work there this week and that work appears to be the saving grace. If not, we would have recorded more casualties.
RashMe: Pls, is it that Owode junction where there is bad road or which of d Ijako??
Don't mind him, my parents live around there but in a far better modern house but yet, they never look down on people. We are all same in the eyes of our God.
Nairaland and plagiarists. You no even fit give me photo credits. Na wah o. Anyways, those are my pictures and it is not one person dead. Other dead body(ies) is or are inside one of the houses. I could not enter to get more facts. The original post is at https://www.nairaland.com/2671008/breaking-houses-people-burnt-tanker#39065773
A deafening sound awoke residents of Owode Ijako, Ota, along Abeokuta Expressway this morning as a tanker carrying diesel exploded and caused serious fire incident around he area. People died, houses burnt, stalls destroyed and there's serious traffic gridlock around the axis right now. Men of the Nigerian Police are however on ground to control the situation.
I was on ground myself to cover the sad situation. Please do not crucify me for taking pictures. Somehow, someone will have to report what happened. I am an eyewitness of the explosion.
adaweezy: yes but different elections wwould hold ....
No sir. Whether u are inaugurated just a day to the end of the National Assembly, you go with the rest. Legislative election no be like executive election.
You dey look well at all? You no see Kemi Adeosun?
fantazia: JUST imagine!!! not a single woman from the south nor east, i tell you BUHARI knows what he is doing. "i hope he realises that he is a president of NIGERIA not the president of the north and west.
No mind them. They leave your CV and look only at your political history and then tag you as a dumbass. Naigerians are too lazy and myopic. They are bandwagons mostly. Anywhere belle face.
dabossman: I tried correcting someone on this "technocrats" issue here on NL and his was just raining down insults. Many haven't even bothered to find out the definition of "technocrat". Being a politician doesn't mean you don't have your area of technical expertise.
Amaechi is already approved. All the noise about two senators from the state of a nominee endorsing a nominee first has gone down. We knew from the beginning that all na lie lie.
lastpage: Well, Amaechi has been less outspoken and cantankerous .... unlike "Lair" Mohammed who has been a torn in the flesh of PDP.
This begs the questions: Why would they target Amaechi even more than Lai Mohammed? *Is it because he is from the South -South? *Is it because he is supposed to join the South-East "bandwagon" of hating the APC? * Is it because he is supposed to be part of the "Jonathan-forever-train" but chose to pitch his tent with Buahri? *is it because as someone from the "East" he was supposed to back Jonathan (herd mentality) but saw the light. backed Buhari/APC and therefore he was hated for this?
I am asking: What exactly is the terrible thing he has done, (compared to Lai Mohammed) that would make them lay in-wait for him and not want him to be conformed as a Minister?
I suspect that just like Lai Mohammed, he would be very funny and sail through, which will again conform to us here that all these "wanabe-analyst" like "Bad-canister", "Pa Chukwudi", e.t.c, .............know nothing about Politics and their #Wailings dont amount to anything in the real world.
Let us wait and see.
Lastpage!
BTW:I was expecting these Senators to ask questions like: *If approved as Minister, would you loot your Portfolio funds? *Would you divert Govt funds for personal use? *have you ever been accused of malpractices before? *Have you ever engaged in forgery of Certificates or other academic documents? *Would you work conscientiously and completely for the development of all areas of Nigeria? *Are you a detribalized person? *Would you always stand for the truth, irrespective of what your party thinks? *What has been your contribution to national development in the last Public or Private office you have held (past records) e.t.c.... RELEVANT QUESTIONS..... not all these long story and banters they are sharing
See your shambolic analysis. To you, it is all about Tinubu. You think there's permanent enemy in politics, right? Politics is more like the more you look the less you see. There's permanent interest not permanent enemies in politics.
Tinubu does not have influence in the national assembly like he envisaged and wanted. Buhari kept mute about that. As if that was not enough, Buhari did not even consider any slot for Tinubu and his loyalists on the ministerial list. Even OBJ was considered in the input of ministers.
Infact Buhari went as far nominating Tinubu's enemies Fashola and Fayemi to help checkmate Tinubu's excesses in the southwest.
Why do I have the feeling that Buhari would create a new ministry called ministry of lagos and hand that portfolio over to Fashola.
Seeing this picture alone where Buhari, Saraki and Tinubu's mere commisioner laughing will give Tinubu hypertension.
bilulu: I carefully listen to the Presidential broadcast but one thing struck my mind. I waited to hear what he has to say about the economy but to my greatest dismay nothing about the economy. I believe in a presidential speech the President should be able to touch a lot of the critical sectors and give us an insight into what his plans are. Long live the president Long live the Federal republic of Nigeria
Is independence day speech same as new year speech?
