Saraki doesn't need to defect to PDP to complete 4 years as President. All he has to do is to keep to his side of the bargain he has with the 56 senators, whatever he had promised the 46 PDP Senators, he must provide because the PDP can easily team up with another APC senator when he "fu.cks" up

Meeting with Buhari was slated for 9am, the inaugural sitting started by after 10am, what was Buhari doing between 9-10? And we were told he once locked out an ambassador for coming to a dinner 15minutes late. When he saw that Saraki and others have started sitting, why didn't he call and tell the members waiting for him the latest?

Even the APC Members that were waiting "Foolishly" for Buhari, don't they have aides or family members that would have called them to tell them that the sitting has commenced since it was televised live? It was only after Saraki had won, they now "Heard " and rushed down to the assembly complex. Liars everywhere

The Lawmaker ( A lady) that seconded the motion that Munguno should be elected Deputy Speaker(which was APC/Tinubu's choice) is from Osun State, the same state with Lasun who later emerged deputy speaker. Mind you, Lasun was first nominated. We should know that these politicians, their personal interests outweigh their "tribal" interest. Lasun emerging deputy speaker wasn't Tinubu's plan and there is no way Tinubu will be laughing after having his wings clipped with what played out yesterday. They only use these tribal interest to cajole us the supporters so that we will be bragging that our tribe's guy is occupying so so position. A position that only benefits the occupier. Thank you

Omenka stop crying. The candidates APC brought as their own, how many are "Southerners"? Lawan - Northerner, Ali Ndume- Northerner, Femi- Southerner, Munguno- Northerner ie 3/4 Northerners, 1/4 Southerner. Now the ones PDP supported Saraki-Northerner, Ike- Southerner, Dogara- Northerner but a Christian, Lasun- Southerner ie 2/4 Northerners, 2/4 Southerners. I wonder whether APC were expecting PDP members to just fold their arms without "fighting", if APC can exhibit this kind of bad blood politics knowing fully well that 3/4 of the elected officers are their own, then we are in for the worse. APC can't be ruling party and still be crying again like the opposition

They only lost out on this one. More APC members voted for Lasun, I believe.

The APC guy that nominated Munguno goofed real time when he said the reason was because Munguno is APC's choice and so he stands with his Party, so PDP members voted for the one that is not an APC choice. PDP did everything today to spite and counter APC and they succeeded

Bros, this is politics. The SE will be the beneficiary on the long run. Should Kwankwaso/Igbo VP rule for 8 years, the next will be a SE Presidential candidate and a NC VP. The NW won't have the moral right to complain. The APC will most likely Present a SW Presidential candidate. It will be a straight fight between the Pdp(se/ss) and APC sw politically! The NC,NE and NW will definitely be shared(the ratio depends on whoever APC present as VP and performance of Kwankwaso). With the bloc SS/SE votes for the PDP, the coast look clear.
