They had all the time to do whatever background check and had to wait till dying minute to be through with it. This administration will go down in history as one that loves courting controversies that are unwarranted, avoided and laughable. A task that will need a simple "a,b,c step", this administration will start from " z,y,x" just to cause controversy |

So going by Gordon's 'analogy', for him (Gordon) to 'protest', he will use comedy to do that. How about the 9am-5pm workers that joined the protest, they should have used their individual jobs as tools they are used to. Lemme watch the video first. BRB |

lilytender: And lovers of stealing, bribery and corruption like you want business to continue as usual. Hell No. Buhari will appoint whosoever he can work with. Live with that. Judges that have been collecting bribes from litigants will not be in charge of our judiciary. Lol! We are talking about separation of power, appointment of a CJN, the head of the 3rd arm ( Judiciary) of government here. This is not a case of appointing who he can work with. Its easy hiding behind your computer and labelling every judges in the country as corrupt but still see the president with all his glaring support for corrupt executive appointees as an anti-corruption champion |
Politics › Re: New CJN: Tension , Controversy, Speculation Rise As Buhari May Go For A.... by UnknownT: 5:14pm On Feb 01, 2017 |
One of the sources added that President Buhari was bent on weeding the Supreme Court of Justices, that have soiled their hands with issues of bribery and corruption
Thats the excuse they usually use to pacify their zombies. Corruption in the executive now has DG perfume scent |
Politics › Re: Buhari Swears In Onnoghen As Acting Chief Justice Of Nigeria by UnknownT: 9:19pm On Jan 30, 2017 |
With just 11 days remaining to the end of his tenure as Acting CJN, with Buhari still in London till February 6th. We haven't heard anything about the acting president sending Justice Walter's name to the NASS, I wonder what is the government's plans towards this issue. This government loves controversy, someone wants to set a bad precedent |
Politics › Re: Non Confirmation Of Onnoghen As CJN; Expect Total Shutdown Awomolo Threatens FG by UnknownT: 9:10pm On Jan 30, 2017 |
AirFireEarthH20: He has no choice eventhough his advisers are foolish. If he refuses to send his name NJC would not recommend another person. Onnoghen is the most senior judge and won't retire now cos he still has over three years to serve. The Judiciary is a different arm of govt not control by another arm. The presidency would soon shoot themselves in the foot cos if Buhari refuses to forward his name, NJC will meet and still forward Onnoghen's name again.
Very soon, propaganda will be everywhere as to how Onnoghen used to eat eba five times a day and the likes but it won't work I read that once his 3 months expire, he can't be appointed again even as a substantive CJN. I don't know why this government loves courting controversy so much? Why the acting position in the first time. This government is very insincere |
Politics › Re: Non Confirmation Of Onnoghen As CJN; Expect Total Shutdown Awomolo Threatens FG by UnknownT: 8:40pm On Jan 30, 2017 |
Next week I believe will mark the end of his 3 months as acting CJN. For him to be confirmed, Buhari will send the name to the NASS for them to approve. As it stands now, I doubt if everything can happen within 1 week. This confirms the fear of persons that Buhari doesn't want that man as CJN, watch out and see the speed of light he will use to send to the NASS a replacement who is a Northerner |

MalcoImX: It's ironic man. The countries producing the highest numbers and high-risk terrorists aren't on Trumpies' list. Countries like UAE should be on his list, but aren't because he has business concerns there. What of Saudi Arabia that produced Bin Laden? If it's Muslims he doesn't want in the US, the place to begin should be Saudi Arabia. I bet you Putin's 'girlfriend' wouldn't dare that because there'd be global Muslim boycott - as a solidarity to their most-revered institution. Trumpy wouldn't still dare Saudi, because it is so rich to be toyed with. Saudis and rich Arab nations will get a first-class treatment in the US than all the supporters of the demagogue from less endowed countries. // Anyway na Trump get him mouth. He made the promises and must fulfill them. But what I remember him saying was 'a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country's representatives can figure out what is going on.' He started from somewhere, countries were ISIS hold sway which have many immigrants (war escapees) leaving the countries. If a terror attack happens in US soil during his tenure, he may add more countries to the list |
