What I think was that she is trying to show us her integrity in the sport. Her years of service and honesty. Such a cheating decision can easily tarnish her reputation. The accusation was that she was cheating. That her coach was making signs to her. How did the came to that? How did she determined that Serena was listening and acting on those instructions? This is not the did time she will be losing a championship match largely due to officiating error

the umpire never said she was cheating....he said the coach was issuing instructions (whether she saw or acted on it is inconsequential. We don't expect her to admit she did) which is a violation of the rules of the game.

If Serena loses she was well beaten......if you understand tennis.... officials have no influence over the game.....just ensure u don't violate laid down rules
