This is not factual. Despite Lagos being an ACN stronghold, Jonathan won resoudingly. In fact he won in all the southwest states except Osun

Regardless of what u guys decide for Nigeria, the Igbo man is a survivor. He survives without government presence. The other owo mida people and the almajiris will still be the ones begging Igbo man for money both online and offline.

Congratulations the President-elect.

it's okay to do this to steal votes from southwest.
A lot of Yorubas are voting along ethnic lines, you can trigger religion there to steal more votes from BAT.

This is not going to effect Obi's voting block in the north, southsouth and southeast. The ethnic bigots who are Christians in southwest need to see a reason not to vote a Muslim-Muslim ticket.

If someone is already biased for ethnic reasons, you can bring him back for religious reasons
lol see logic.....Any Yoruba supporting Tinubu is tribal, any Igbo supporting Obi is not.......I still maintain my point that a lot of Obidients went about this campaign the wrong way. They think by abusing the people that don't support PO will get those people to change their minds.

Obi is the underdog here and his job is trying to convince people to vote for him from the other major political parties. Abusing people that have a different view from you does a bad job of convincing both neutrals and those in other political parties to join the movement.

You might argue that the other parties are also abusive, that might be the case, but it doesn't mean you should toe that road especially being the underdog . You should be seen to be different discussing ideas.

When APC took power from PDP, they didn't go after supporters of PDP, they targeted the issues and amplified it.

As an analogy imagine a new restaurant trying to get customers from a McDonald's for example, it would be foolhardy for them to tell McDonald's customers that they are stupid for remaining with McDonald's when they could be eating in a new restaurant.

If you were the McDonald's customer, how would you feel?

It might be late to sway some people, but there are still a few that are sitting on the fence. Don't let overzealousness make you lose those ones.

It is a Democracy and everyone has a right to choose. But you also have a right to convince them to choose who you think is right.

In a country of 200m people with probably half that eligible to vote, you think a poll of 3k respondents is going to be representative of reality.

My take is supporters of candidates should shun these polls and continue to campaign till INEC says stop.

You need to poll about 5% of eligible voters to get a semblance of representative data.

Tinubu is unfit for presidency, get it into your skull Mr man.

When they tag you tribalist for supporting Tinubu, they have their reasons.

Do you think I am supporting Peter Obi because of his tribe? No

If APC had presented Rocha okorocha as their candidate against Seyi Makinde in Labour Party or PDP, I would have supported Makinde.

So if people call you tribalist for supporting Tinubu, I think they have their reasons.

How can you be supporting a sickly old man suffering from dementia and amnesia as a president at this critical time in Nigeria
There in lies the problem. You find no issues calling others tribalists but don't want to dance to the same tune.

As absurd as it may seem to you, people do believe that Tinubu will make a better president than Obi even in his current state. Do I agree, no. Do I respect their opinion and choice, yes. Would I call them tribalists for that, no.

It's a democracy everybody has one vote.

While we are at it, start emphasizing that more people should start holding their state governors to higher standards. Most if not all are incompetent and are hiding under the "it is the FGs fault" umbrella.

Anybody that supports Peter Obi is now Igbo. Me too, they've tagged me Igbo on Twitter despite seeing my name as Yoruba, they say I dey disguise.

I know what urchins are trying to do by always labeling anybody that supports Peter Obi Igbo. They are trying to corner Obi to one side to make him look like an Igbo president.

Any tribal game that urchins want to play in this election will backfire on them.
unfortunately it goes both ways. Anyone who supports Tinubu is also called a Yoruba tribalists.

It is unfortunate that most people on both sides of the divide have managed to turn it into a tribe based election.

Funny how INEC feels so powerful and think they have the final say.
Even if the allegation is false, for the sake of transparency while not listen to the masses?

Very useless country where everyone placed in office by the people and meant to serve the people, now assume the people are to be enslaved and do as they wish and not as the masses want.

I believe INEC listened and after investigating realized the allegations are false.

You don't change your system every time an allegation is made.

PS: OP, include her fine picture to this thread.
This is a thoughtless statement even if you think you are being smart. You still managed to sneak your tribalism into this.

As hard as it might be for you to comprehend, there are several people that don't see things through tribal lenses and that includes a lot of people supporting any of the candidates.

Such a stupid statement from someone who is supposed to be an elder. Does wisdom no longer come with age? The youths should wake up, these old farts are the ones who destroyed Nigeria during their youth with politics of bigotry and hate. We need to break that barrier and seize our future for ourselves! LP will usher in a new Nigeria where the power lies solely on the people. If after 4 years Obi fuks up, we can sack him and employ someone else. Rinse and repeat♻️ until we finally get it right!
I have always said following all these so called leaders in Politics is just stupid. Evaluate each candidate and come to a conclusion who is best. All politicians are in it for their selfish interests.

Imagine the stupid statement he made. I wonder how these ones are considered leaders or elders

Anita sobbed and released a video clip and photos of them when they were still together and things were going well.

The heartbroken lady described her ex as a devil in human form and she warned other ladies to be wary of men like him.

She obtained her ex-wedding boyfriend’s photos and video clips after they were forwarded to her over WhatsApp.

According to her, they were together only days before his wedding and she wondered how she would recover from the pain.

Sharing the video, Anita wrote;

“My boyfriend got married few days after I last saw him and few hours after we spoke on the phone‍ I don’t even know how to heal from this.”

I love your contribution and I am pleased you try to make others see from men's perspective. Believe me, i understand your points as well. I am not one to throw allegations or speak ill of people without trying to understand what made them who they are. From my write up, i insult no one but rather blame the society for raising both genders the wrong way.

Most Nigerian marriages do not last anymore, they are not standing the test of time. The modern marriage is nothing to write home about due to evolution i.e changes in our ways of lives. There is a shift but Men want to retain traditional benefits of being Men.

Women are taking just as much as financial responsibilities men take, you will hardly see a home where Men provides all in this Nigeria economy yet women are expected to continue with traditional homes. You all play this providing card so much that one is left to wonder if women don't also share responsibilities in the homes anymore. How may Men can successfully run a home singlehandedly?

Most Men lose interest in Marriage because they can't keep up, they have lost the bargaining power and are yet to understand or conform to the new dating norms. Thats where their issues lies, they don't know how to be in "control" because things have changed. They suffer reality shock because contrary to what they were raised with, they need more that having a manhood to thrive in the society.

The truth is Most men weren't raised with love in the Nigerian culture, that is why it is found wanting in typical Nigerian Man.
I have always asked what exactly is the benefit of getting married?

I for one I am happy with the divorce rate which just shows that people are realizing the need to live free and not just exist in a contraption that serves no purpose.

I hope one day our society gets to the point where men don't feel the need to be responsible for everything around them, where women also share the same responsibilities as men and vice versa.

At that point everyone gets their wish. Women will learn to be providers and protectors, Men will share the responsibilities at home, concept of her money is her money and his money is our money no longer exists, girls get to woo men just as much as men do women.

We also get the same number of women and men in the military.

He’s right! One has to be naive not to know this was all what Buhari wanted power for….to take more than their fair share to the muslim core north while telling the rest of the country there’s no money! Don’t look for paper-trails showing how the funds were acquired and diverted to the north! In all probability you may not find such a trail! These hegemonic northerners are as willy and sneaky as they’re bigoted! Pray, what does Kano do that generates the money they’re using for building these ‘notice me’ projects!? Besides their cornering a larger share of our commonwealth through inflated population figures, useless landmass and a plethora of LGAs, where else is the money coming from!? And don’t even get me started on Katsina in general and Daura in particular! This is all what ‘one Nigeria’ is to these people, and why they’re obsessed with wanting to sustain it….even as quite a lot of them despise Igbos’ with passion!

A oil and gas state like Imo has been so cheated that it can’t even find the kind of the funds available to Kano, Katsina or Kaduna (both legally allocated and got through wuruwuru), but they will expect everyone to keep quiet and join them to be cheering on Buhari and Nigeria!?
The same Imo where one governor was building statues in, and all the citizens kept quiet?

Everybody needs to start holding their Governors responsible

I decided to travel to South Korea last year after developing a huge wanderlust to visit the country. I visited Seoul, Jeonju, Boseong, Namwon and Busan.

I found it to be a very beautiful country. Some of my favourite things include the food, ease of transportation around the country and Korean architecture. I will start off this thread with how I got my visa and how to travel from Nigeria to South Korea.

Feel free to ask me any questions about visiting South Korea. Please note that I do not know much about moving there. I will only be able to respond to questions about visiting as a tourist.

I hope you enjoy the stories. I will post as fast as I can but might be slow too... smiley
Did you apply with your Nigerian passport or a foreign one?

I would like to visit South Korea or Japan. But I don't want to stress myself getting a visa if it is difficult for Nigerian passport holders to get one
