This kind of jubilation did not happen when Tinubu was declared winner by INEC, infact he did not even come to celebrate in the streets of Lagos he claims he built.

This kind of jubilation did not also happen when Sanwo Olu was declared winner by INEC...

If this type of jubilation did not happen in your state when INEC declared your governor elect, there is 99.9% possibility you guys have been scammed
Lagosians will argue that they have not had it half as bad as Abians over the years.

Congrats to Governor Alex. Don't know much about him, but he certainly can't be worse than the former governor whose claim to work is chicken republic

I just watched the video of instigation, threatening and violence unleashed by mc olomo.
I also just saw first hand the destruction of properties and injury to humans that happened in surulere.

Tinubu is a danger to lagos state and Nigeria.
I don't care what you say on sanwolu. Vote out Apc aggressively in lagos state.
Those guys are murderers , criminals, vagabonds and demons that should not exist with humans.

Lagosians let us sanitize our state once and for all.
Vote for GRV. Vote Mama, papa, pikin . Vote LP

The love is majorly as a result of failed governance not because he is loved for who he is or what he has done.

I am not arguing, just pointing out that if the APC government had performed, there would be no Obidient movement.

That being said I like the fact that people finally realize that they are the power

Too bad

Seeing Igbos and Yorubas fighting each other makes me sick, there's division everywhere in Nigeria today, even among minorities

Tribalism is a big problem in Nigeria, we still have a long way to go, nigerians still vote along ethnic and religious lines

This is why I like Rwanda

I thank God for giving me a good heart not to hate anyone, forget my political affiliation
It is all political unfortunately they rile up everyone. An Igbo lady has contested for governorship in Lagos before and there was no issue then because she wasn't a threat to the top party. Now that it seems there is a viable threat, then you start hearing people talking about who is from where.

These same tribalists (from all parts of the country) when they go to the hospital, won't ask for a doctor or nurse from their tribe but will ask for a competent one.

It's all politics and people are playing into the hands of politicians

I think the South East Governors should drive the change. Nothing stops them from having a concrete plan and setting things in motion. They don't need the FG for things like this. If the FG isn't paying for it, they usually won't object.

From what you posted, the gentleman said he built a lake resort to spur investments. How that was going to work still baffles me.

Basically what I am saying is that if the FG won't do something, then the state should do it. If the plan is proper and provides good returns, the investors will come.

Investors are looking to make profit. If there is a concrete model that guarantees profit, investors will come

Delusional Shehu Sanni

In his mind, he lives a life of grandeur and fame,
His name, Shehu Sanni, known throughout the game.
But reality tells a different story,
One of delusion and self-imposed glory.

He sees himself as a hero, a man of the people,
Fighting for justice and ending all evil.
But his actions speak louder than words,
And his true motives are often blurred.

He speaks of freedom and equality,
But his words are empty, lacking sincerity.
His ego inflates with each passing day,
And the truth is often pushed away.

He dreams of power and political might,
But his goals are tainted with selfish delight.
He forgets the ones who brought him there,
And the people's voices he no longer hears.

Shehu Sanni, a man lost in his own mind,
Believing his own lies and leaving truth behind.
But the world will see through his façade,
And the delusional Shehu Sanni will soon be exposed as a fraud.

The things this guy will do in Lagos if mistakenly he wins..

1. He'll channel Lagos state treasury into the hands if Igbos. All he needs to do is appoint Igbo man to head State treasury in Lagos and bo0m, we won't see any record of money in or out again.

2. He will retire MC Oluomo and start his own park touts/agbero empire (with Igbos) in Lagos.. park touts plenty for East more than any other region. That is the only work they do there.

3. He will appoint Igbos to head markets across Lagos and scrap Iyaloja title.. one of Yoruba culture gone like that.

4. He will sack Oba of Lagos and elevate one Eze ndigbo to be the ruler in Lagos.

5. He will retrench Yorubas from Lagos state civil service and recruit Igbos especially Anambra people to fill all the vacancies. It's obvious from his choice of words e.g. afonja to describe Yorubas. So if you are a Yoruba working with LASG and you join them to vote LP over your current employer, know you will soon become jobless and hopeless.
Our people say ise l'ogun ise.. when you lose your job, your eyes will clear. The devil you know is better than the angel you just met promising you heaven and earth.

Parachoko

The people that put that Law knew what they were doing.

First, for one to be a governor, he/she must get 25% in two-thirds of the LGA the make up the state, the same applies for the president, he or she must have 25% in two-thirds of the state and FCT

The FCT doesn't have a governor rather the president appoint a minister to oversee the administration of the FCT
. Now for a president to have the legitimacy of appointing a minister to over see the administration of the FCT he or she must have secured 25% of the total votes cast in the FCT

It is simple
so in a case where a candidate wins the 36 states, but loses 25% in FCT that would mean he cannot become president?

FCT that adds no economic value to the country is meant to be the decider?

I pray that this isn't the case, if not we have to start questioning the sanity of those that write these laws

AnonPoet:
Nestled in the heart of Ekwegbe, Enugu, the proposed Maduka University is rapidly taking shape, promising to revolutionise education and tourism in Nigeria. With over 85% completion, the university, which sprawls across 450 hectares of land, is set to become the first entrepreneurship-focused institution in the country. It is the brainchild of Dr. Samuel Maduka Onyishi, a business mogul and founder of Peace Group.

Intending to be city-like, the institution has also made stunning provisions for staff quarters, a world-class campus stadium, an international guest house, a lake resort, a park and recreation centre to cater for children, and most importantly, a primary and secondary school with full boarding facilities. In fact, its secondary school, called Maduka University College, has already begun operations, having opened its doors to welcome secondary school students during the last academic session.

Many might wonder why another private university is being built when quite a number already exist. But what sets Maduka University apart from other higher institutions is its singular focus on entrepreneurship.

Every student will take classes on entrepreneurship that will give them the skills they need to be successful on their own before and after they graduate without having to rely on traditional white-collar jobs.

Even though Maduka University is a private school, it wants to offer a world-class education at a price that the average Nigerian can afford.

The founder of the university, Dr. Onyishi, explains that his mission is rooted in a desire to give back to society and help address the country's ongoing unemployment crisis. As he notes, many Nigerian universities remain theory-focused and don't provide students with the skills they need to succeed in the real world. The lack of entrepreneurial knowledge, skills, and spirit among young people only exacerbates this issue. With the unemployment rate rising, the entrepreneurship gap remains wide.

To make this university a reality, Dr. Onyishi is solely financing the multi-billion naira project from his pocket without any external support, which is a commendable feat!

Upon completion and successful accreditation by the NUC, Maduka University will be the rallying hub for educational acquisition, the training ground for the nation's next set of great entrepreneurs and business leaders, and a credible alternative for Nigerians who desire quality education at an affordable cost.

Hopefully, this will inspire other entrepreneurs to invest in Nigeria's education sector.
We don't need universities, we need Vocational centres

Disappointed with him on this one. Religious issues are the dictates of politicians when they want to cause division. Everybody should step back and ask themselves, based on the teachings of the holy books, if our politicians are truly Christians or Muslims will the country be where it is today?

Yet during election they bring up christian and Muslim tickets.

We can choose to remain gullible or shun these kind of talk and vote them based on what they are bringing to the table. Vote right

And for his reference to God not making a mistake, I guess he should read about the parable of the "good" Samaritan. A parable that a lot of you with tribalistic tendencies should read and understand.

I believe, in a free and fair election that Peter Obi will win! But like i said, the process has already been rigged, and the trail of the culprits will ultimately lead to the evil characters in and around APC….right to the very top of the criminal organisation!
could it be PVCs from raid of INEC offices by UGM?
