Today I'll dwell on HIGHEST MOST SCORING HALF.

What is the 'Highest Scoring Half' Market?

Highest Scoring Half

The “Highest Scoring Half” bet option allows the punter
to bet on which half will have the most goals.
This will be the total goals from both teams.

If Fulham is playing Sunderland, the market options are:
1. FvS 1st HALF
2. FvS 2nd HALF
3. FvS EQUAL
Therefore if the first half ends 2-0, and the end result of the
game at 90 minutes is 2-1, this means that there were 2
goals scored in the 1st half, and 1 in the 2nd half. Therefore
the FvS 1st HALF option will be the winning option.
If the first half ends 1-0, and the end result of the game at 90 minutes is 3-2, this means that there was 1 goal scored in
the 1st half, and 4 in the 2nd half.
Therefore the FvS 2ns HALF option will be the winning option.

If the score at the end of the first half is 2-1, and the end of
the game is 4-2, this means there were 3 goals in the first
half and three goals in the second half. This means that the
winning market will be FvS EQUAL as there were 3 goals
scored in both halves.

please what do3s this mean?

first corner 3way

chelsea 1.96
barca 2.20 ..

if I go with chelsea 1.96. how does that mean? and maybe fulltime corner was chelsea 9 barca 3

Sorry for the late reply (had a very busy monday).

As the name of the market (first corner) implies, it simply means WHICH TEAM WILL HAVE THE FIRST CORNER, so your concern should be focused on the team that is most likely to have the first corner kick of the match.

okay bro. the match corners was - napoli ;7 , sassuolo 3.. if i had picked napoli, is it a win or loss??

It would have been a loss.

Whether u chose -2.5 +2.5 or -3.5 +3.5

As Napoli's 7 - 3 (the handicap) = 4
While Sassuolo's 3 + 3 (the handicap) = 6

Making the final number of corners Napoli 4 and Sassuolo 6.

You would have lost, unless you had back sassuolo to win.

From your analysis, what will be your pick on Napoli vs sasuollo game when 3 options were given on corners handicap FT : -2.5/+2.5, -3.5/+3.5, -4.5/+4.5

...and pls, which site can one get all the detailed statistics of a match played.

Napoli is a very good side no doubt but Sasuollo are no push overs, as they possess equal attacking threats as well. Napoli being the home side can just score an early goal den decide to soak up pressure.

To get detailed stats of a match you can use soccer24.com (if its a top league they will have the match summary) or better still, download the livescores app from google play store or the apple app store.

You need my tip on this match? I'll say go for both teams to score.

nice one bro. please am confused here o, in todays match i saw -

Corner handicap -2.5/+2.5 .

napoli - 1.60 , sassuolo 2.15 ..

if i pick napoli at 1.60 , can u tel me what it means

It simpy means 2 corners will be deducted from the home team's (Napoli) total corners in FT while 2 wil be added to the away team's (Sassuolo)total corners.

If you pick Napoli (1.60) it simply means Napoli's total corner must be greater than that of Sassuolo by 3 or more corners.

Sorry guys, I was busy with work.

Betting on Corners
To some people, betting on Corners might sound risky. But
I can boldly beat my chest like king kong and say that it's a safer option than many other football markets and the odds are fair as Bookmakers' research is often nowhere near as thorough as it should.

You can bet on which team will be awarded the First
Corner, and the Last Corner in a match (these are two
separate bets) - but this can be something of a lottery as it can go either ways (but the better team has a 70/100 chance of having the first corner kick.

First Half Corners
Under/Over

Guide:
This is the same bet as a Total Corners bet, but settled at
Half Time (with the under/over being the benchmark).

CORNERS (Handicap)
For those of you that doesn't know the meaning of corner
handicap, I quickly give the summary.
-1.5 means -2 corners
-2.5 means -3 corners
-3.5 means -4 corners
-4.5 means -5 corners

While
+1.5 means +2 corners
+2.5 means +3 corners
+3.5 means +4 corners
+4.5 means +5 corners

If you see anything like -2.5/+2.5, that means 3 corners will
be subtracted from first team or 3 corners will be added to
second team total corner....the highest corner win the bet.
-3.5/+3.4 means 4 corners will be subtracted from home
team or 4 corners added to away team.

For instance, Bayern Munich vs Arsenall corner handicap -4.5/
+4.5.....Arsenal @1.65 means if there total corners are:
Bayern Munich 8 corners
Arsenal 4 corners
The 5 handicap given to Arsenal will be subtracted from
Bayern's corner which make it:
Bayern munich 3 and Arsenal 4
Otherwise
Bayern Munich 8
Arsenal 4
If we add the 5 handicap to Arsenal's corner, which = 4+5 =
9... the final result will be
Bayern Munich 8 and Arsenal 9
After the addition and subtractions had been done,,, the
highest corner kick win the bet.
If you bet on Villarreal to win after subtracting 5 corners or
if you bet on Eibar to win after adding the 5 corners

Good morning all, I hope you all had sound night rests, because I did.

I'll take time today to discuss on the various markets and give insights into leagues where you can check for easy success on each niche...
Let's start with betting on cards/booking points (2 in 1)

Betting on Cards/Bookings Points can be a reliable money
maker - because success often relies on the 'character' of a
team, which often remains constant whether they win or
lose (Athetico madrid comes to mind).

Aggressive teams pick up lots of Bookings, regardless of
form.
Note: Most bookmakers use the same 'points' system for
Bookings:
Yellow Card = 10 points
Red Card = 25 points
2 Yellows resulting in an automatic Red = 35 points

Example 1.

Stoke city vs Hull city ( fulltime 3 yellow cards = 30 booking points, 2 yellow cards to a player leading to red = 35 booking points and1 straight red = 25 booking points) total booking points = 30+35+25 = 90 booking points

Alternatively, bet on 'Cards' – using the following
distinction…

Yellow Card = 1 Card
Red Card = 2 Cards
2 Yellows resulting in an automatic Red = 3 Cards

Example 2.
Granada vs Malaga
fulltime 3 yellow cards = 3 cards,
2 yellow cards to a player leading to red = 3 cards.
1 straight red = 1 card)
Total cards in this match = 3+2+3+1 = 9 Total cards in the match.

For Leagues that are very aggressive: Italian leagues are, Brazilian leagues, Spanish league, et al. Please take out time to do some more personal research.

Kindly ask questions, if no questions please indicate so I can continue, thanks.

Am following are dear reli fix matches?

Fixed matches are no illusion, they are as real as the under development in Nigeria. The thing is, in as much as there are fixed matches, those who have them do not go around flaunting them because of interpol (as it is illegal). Juventus was relegated for involvement in match fixing. Fenerbahce given Champions League ban, Besiktas given Europa league ban in 2013 for involvement in match fixing. Juventus, Besiktas, and Fenerbahce are big teams (and they still involve in match fixing) so you can imagine what smaller teams in lower leagues go through.

NO, YOU DO NOT BRO. That takes me to my next point (before explaining these markets above.

Optimism in sports betting: Good or Bad?

Why do almost all of us think we're driving better than average (like BOND or Jason Stathan) ?
For many obvious reasons, optimism is a good character trait to possess, it makes life easier in many ways. But when it comes to betting, your cheerful, optimistic nature can turn into a liability and affect your betting performance negatively.

The Optimism bias lets you believe that you are less likely
to be affected by negative events, and more likely to be
affected by positive events than other people. The optimism
bias influences our lives in a range of different areas, some
of which are also interesting for your betting.
Everybody Wants To Be The Smoking Grandfather (Hitting all green).
A classic example for optimism bias is the fallacy held by
some smokers that they are less likely to get lung cancer
compared to other smokers.

Betting gives you a feeling of being in control as well, but
it's a feeling of control that you are likely going to
overestimate. This is because the final result of any given
match is often more random than we assume: Red cards,
deflected shots, bad calls by the referee – all of these can
steer a match in an unexpected direction.

Okay, let me go back to the explaining the markets.
I will continue after the next comment.

Any questions so far?
Business / Re: Football Betting Guide For Improved Winnings by uprigtd: 11:53am On Feb 22, 2015
Wow, it gives me joy to know smart people are learning from me.

*** Sips Alomo, jumia should just deliver my bottle of beer on time, sips alomo again***

Ehen, this afternoon... Am going to move next to BETTING MARKETS.

The key to successful sports betting is in gaining a regular
edge over the bookmakers which will culminate in
consistent profits. Yesterday, while so many folks were crying over the loss of Barcelona and Chelsea's unimaginable draw at the bridge despite their miserably low odds (1.09 for Barca win & 1.30 for chelsea to win) some other punters were all grin and cheers as their stake was on other markets (options).

Okay what do I mean by MARKET?
Market in sports betting simply means options. Online bookmakers tend to offer a huge selection of betting
markets (options) on every single match, often giving their customers a choice between more than 100 betting options per game.
Popular betting markets include:
**Winner (home, draw, away),
**Booking Points
**Over/under (goals),
**Over/under (cards)
**Asian handicaps (+1 -1, +2 -2)
** 1-10mins outcome (Draw, 1st or 2nd team)
** Halftime result
**Correct score,
**First goalscorer,
**Half-time result and many more,
with the bettors (you and I) given a courtesy of choosing the one that they believe offers the best value.

The punter (you and I) can choose whether he wants to place single bet on one of the markets or combine (accumulate) several of them with a promise of bigger returns.
Business / Re: Football Betting Guide For Improved Winnings by uprigtd: 7:20am On Feb 22, 2015
#1 – Losing

I know most of you will say there is no way that
losing has made anyone successful. However adversity in sports betting, and in life itself, often provide the
inspiration to try harder to succeed. I lost money, and
sometimes money that I couldn’t afford to lose for years,
before I finally decided enough was enough. I stopped gambling altogether for a few weeks. Like the Chinese proverb curled from the book, "Rich
Dad Poor Dad" which says "If you dig yourself into pit, stop digging" call for help. If you are into football betting, and what you get is red sea (loss) almost all the time in your bet slips, stop betting. Most people spend hours picking out their best selections &
betting let’s say N2000 on them, and then when they lose, they go on a tilt and bet N5000 on a team you know nothing
about just because you want to recover your lost money by
all means. Then you lose again. Most of us are gulty of this, I used to be guilty as well. It is a big mistake. LEARN TO AVOID IT. Losing is a fixed part of sports betting. It
is how one handles those losses that has direct impact on
the next wager made.

#2 - Realize That Not Betting (ABSTINENCE) Sometimes Is the Best Bet.

When I began betting with ALABI (nairabet) many weeks ago, I would bet daily. This only accomplished one thing, a steady stream of income for ALABI. As I would bet on Saturdays, Then Sundays, and often was
staring at a huge loss at the close of the week (Monday to Friday).
This cycle would just compound losses, creating serious
leaks in my BANK ACCOUNT. And most of this express bets during the week are done without analysis. Experience tells me that the losses while “guessing” will eventually outnumber the wins. Having the discipline to not stake is a huge attribute in a bettor’s resolve. Sometimes the value is in keeping your cash in your pocket. This is sports
investing, not sports gambling.

#3 - There Are Several Fish In The Sea

Guys chill, I haven’t switched this piece to a dating
lesson, I am talking about the fact that there are many
different shops to bet with (Nairabet, merrybet, nairastake, 1960bet, naijapredict, surebet, bet365, ladbrokes...etc).
Early on I didn’t even realize
that Bookmakers have different betting odds on the same event (some are higher than the others). It wasn’t until after I began to search for the best odds did I realize.
This part is not about bookies alone, its about the teams as well. Why focus solely on BIG LEAGUES or BIG TEAMS when you can switch your time to studying other teams and leagues than let the so called big names with chin chin odds mess your bet.

#4 - Tunnel Vision

This is specialisation. I was not able to achieve the level of success I have had in recent years until I focused on just betting the straight winning market. Early on in my gambling career, I was placing bets in no less than
8 different markets (corners, yellow cards, to score next, halftime/fulltime et al)! I was doing almost zero research, zero record-keeping, and a whole lot of losing masked by a few “legendary” wins. After I had started to achieve success in HT/FT I would still bet on cards. I often joked that my
FT betting was supporting my cards habit. Now that’s not
to say that there are not bettors out there that do well in
multiple markets, I just found that with a more intense focus on just one market, it increased my profitability and gave me a much needed break from the stresses of the industry once the betting season ends.

I know the question a smart Nigerian will ask is "What are the keys to successful sports betting?". Well, I will teach you how to fish as I'm not sure I'll be able to make fish pepper soup... to feed anybody. LOL! Okay back to business, People often ask, how does a person have success in sports
betting? In the real sense only less than 2% of bettors even qualify to answer that question (((ALARMING BUT TRUE))) dont ask me where I got my stats from, lol.

I remember thinking in my head how easy it would be to simply pick the correct team to win a game before it starts and I could name the amount I wanted to receive from ALABI (Nairabet) after my team won. That, of course, is the gambling fallacy. There are so many factors stacked against bettors (and that mama in the village is not part of it) that as stated above 98 percent fail to maintain long term
profitability.

Let me take a break here:
