I mostly didn't get the humour, a few chuckles here am there, but the story was very touching for me. Taika Waititi sure knows how to take a serious subject matter and turn it into a carricature while at the same time being able to strike an emotional cord in the viewer.

The fancy cinematography was appealing to my eyes, so was the Dame; Scarlett Johansson and the performance of the casts was quite notable, except maybe Taika Waititi's.

But Bleep it, that heil Hitler scene was fvcking Hilarious!

The movie definitely said nothing in that regard, but from the killing of the Prominent Tv presenter & Thomas Wayne, it's safe to infer that the targets were rich folks who were somehow connected to the affairs of government, & rich folks who control the factors of production, actual production and distribution of goods & services & other basis amenities.

But the tv presenter had nothing to do with the govt, the masked clowns praised the joker for killing him because he was rich and there is no proof that Thomas Wayne was connected to the govt. All he wanted to do was to run for Mayor.His family don already hammer hundreds of years ago.

As for me, I'd say no, cause the ruling class is made up of the rich/the creme de la creme/the high class/the wealthy and not the proletarians.

The ruling class in the u.s and many other developed countries is made up of more of middle class people than wealthy.
