Meet the greek hero called bellarophone.


Bellerophon was residing as a guest of King Proteus. Proteus’s wife Antea lusted for Bellerophon. Bellerophon refused her sexual advances. Antea then told Proteus that Bellerophon was attempting to seduce her forcefully. She urged Proteus to kill Bellerophon. However, in ancient Greek ethics, killing a guest is immoral. Without giving Belleropon a hearing, Proteus sent Bellerophon to Antea’s father Lycia with a private message requesting Bellerophon’s death. Now here is the account of Bellerophon as told by Homer in The Iliad [The Iliad VI: 156-170, as quoted by Astour, ibid., p. 257]:

To Bellerophontes the gods granted beauty and desirable manhood; but Proitos in anger devised evil things against him, and drove him out of his own domain, since he was far greater … Beautiful Anteia the wife of Proitos was stricken with passion to lie in love with him, and yet she could not beguile valiant Bellerophontes, whose will was virtuous. So she went to Proitos the king and uttered her falsehood. “Would you be killed, O Proitos? Then murder Bellerophontes who tried to lie with me in love, though I was unwilling”. So she spoke, and anger took hold of the king at her story. He shrank from killing him, since his heart was awed by such action, but sent him away to Lykia, and handed him murderous symbols, which he inscribed in a folding tablet, enough to destroy life, and told him to show it to his wife’s father, that he might perish.

The Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, on Wednesday, said if Muslim students continue to wear hijab to public schools in Osun state, Christian pupils will equally not stop wearing church garments and other apparels.
This declaration was made known by the Vice Chairman, VC, of CAN in the state, Pastor Moses Ogundeji.

This is coming after the state governor, Rauf Aregbesola, restated that no student is allowed to put on unauthorized uniforms to school in the state, following the instruction of CAN in the state that students should go to school in church garments.

DAILY POST gathered that some students of Baptist High School, Iwo stormed the school, wearing different church garments on Wednesday in continuation of the Tuesday drama but were prevented from going inside.

In their response to the governor, CAN is insisting that the governor should be ready to expel all students in the state, if Christians and Muslim students cannot be treated alike.

While fielding questions from journalists at the venue of the prayer meeting the association called on the hijab controversy in Osogbo on Wednesday, the VC said, “If the governor is fighting for the right of the Muslims, we will also fight for the right of the Christians.

“He should be ready to expel those wearing hijab because hijab was never part of the school uniform,” Ogundeji added.

The Secretary of CAN, Apostle Joseph Olaide, also said while addressing the gathering, that Christian students cannot be stopped from wearing church garments, adding that CAN should be notified if security men arrested any of the pupils, saying the leadership would take up the case.

Meanwhile, CAN and Muslim leaders are to meet with the Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrasheed Akanbi today to resolve the situation and avert any crisis that may erupt from the controversy.

Infact there just 7 percent of the population of Europe who atheists and the total population of atheists in the world is just 500 million atheists , non God -believers ! And there are close to 6 billion God-believers in the world .

So using your logic , there are more people seeing God , so there is indeed a God and the less who are the atheists who can't see God are wrong .
