Hey house! Gmn. Been following up on dis thread since yesterday. Nice inputs I must confess. I had previously registered on the youwin site and forgot to fill in the application cos it was strange d first day I viewed it. On wed night I got a mail to update as the dealine was on friday. With no coach, I filled d stuff without noting down anytin (just like a novice) only to discover that I made detrimental errors in some questions (esp the calculations of d percentage) when I discovered dis page after I must av submitted. I felt bad and wanted to re apply, but was disauded by some comments I saw here too. Last night just wanted to see if d site is up and inform a frnd who is also interested in the program, just to discover my app wasn't submitted as I had gotten a msg on dat wed saying "Tnx we av received ur application. I clicked on d app button n voila it came up. I was rily gald as a took my time to make doz detailed correction in pages 4 to 5 of dis thread. My choice field is Legal as am a practising law (a new wig tho) I hope dis would fly. Av never won anytin in my life and wld be glad to get thism. Tnx my dears.

Yeah don't mind me.... But seriously speaking, it's #50000. I met with my SDO, the man that supervised me when I partook in the distribution of PVC's and I asked him. He is a high ranking officer in INEC and he confirmed it to me.

I was a Presiding Officer in 2011. In all, we were paid 38k. Including training and the election that was cancelled.

Lolx! Tot u knew them self. They used to live around my hood back in 2011. They v moved to dier own apartment and avnt seen them since then. Their family get fine, tall ladies.

Hello members! I registered for Ad Hoc Staff online in lagos, Mushin LG. My colleage who registered online too told me that the names of the selected staff has been sent down to INEC office that she has seen hers( in Ogbomosho). Then I went to INEC office in my area & I was told no list has been sent to their office concerning the Ad Hoc staff reg.

Is there any applicant (on this forum) of Ad hoc staff in Mushin Local Govt Area who has any info on this?

Hey ‘corpers’, fret not, for you will be adequately protected during the 2015 general elections.

The leadership of the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, and the Independent National Electoral Commission have assured the National Youth Service Corps members who would be participating in the 2015 general elections of ‘safety’ during and after the elections.

The Director General of the NYSC scheme, Brigadier General Johnson Olawunmi, told journalists on Wednesday that provision has been placed on ground to ensure the protection of lives of NYSC members before, during and after the electoral activities.

He revealed that the NYSC was partnering with some Nigeria security agencies to see that the lives of all the corps members are protected and also to ensure that their welfare and logistics were adequately taken care of during the election.

“It is the duty of INEC to provide adequate security for corps members, who will be used as ad hoc staff for the 2015 elections.”

While advising corps members to be of good conduct during the 2015 elections activities, he noted that they would be paid for their services.

In times past, corps members have been victims of the election violence.
