Frankrobbn1: With this recent rejections for study visas applicants from Nigeria. If anyone should seek for my opinion, I see no need ordering for GCMS note most especially when the refusal is from Kenya, Immigration office as the VO at the Canadian embassy tend to copy and paste GCMS notea for every refused applicant.... Using the word - Vague and Poorly documented Study Plan, and Taking the applicant plan of studies into account, the applicant doesn't appear to be sufficiently well-established that the proposed studies would be a reasonable expense. Based on the information, I am not satisfied applicant will depart Canada at the end of the period authorized for their stay...... as a reason for a visa refusal. I can outrightly attest that if 100 person's were rejected of their VISA'S lately, 98% if not all will see the above reason in their GCMS note. Sir my BVL letter dropped on the 1st of October. But since then I haven't gotten another update... Is anything wrong sir. |

Mudicua: Sorry about the demise of your dad. with regards to reapplying for 2020, I think you should look at US. There are some really good schools that give scholarship even better than Canada. Also the UK too is another option.
For US, make sure you have good GRE scores, and also do an impressive SOP. those 2 combined with your GPA will land you scholarship. I don't know your course of study, but look up Oklahoma State University, University of Nebraska, Oklahoma University, Minnesota State University, Eastern Tennesse State University. These schools give some good funding for grad sudents with impressive package.
Good luck. Thank you very much mudica... I appreciate I'm thinking in line with undergraduate programs. Can you assist me? |

KlausMike: Hard times! I was almost sure my family will get it this time becos we trashed out all the concerns in the gcms note from the first rejection.
Oh well! Life goes on! Oh it was a full family plan? The cost of that was too much for my FAM. Will you be re- applying? |

KrystalDesign: Sure I will. Although it was on Monday. Wasnt too happy but I am okay now.
Applied to Toronto school of management for diploma in business administration.. Graduated as a petroleum engineer with 4.46. Work in a software development company that has a flagship petroleum engineering tool which was developed to support the IOCs and MOCs. Part of the department is business development and i so much want to be there.. marketing the product as well as being flexible to talk about it. So wanted to start from beginning in learning about fundamentals in business thus the reason for the diploma.
Applied 9th August, 2019. Biometrics 10th August BVL Correspondence letter 30th September, 2019
Submitted all applications required by CIC
In my LOE tab, i submitted the following; Police Certificate, SOP (Motivation letter), Transcript, CV, IELTS, NYSC Discharge Cert, NIN Slip, School Cert and Study leave from company
In POF A brief summary of what i am about to submit to them, School part scholarship and Part fee paid to institution, Affidavit from my brother (sponsor), a sponsorship letter from him as well, his UBA account with an amount that can cover my tuition and living expenses, his FBN account just to show his financial stability, my savings in Stanbic mutual fund, my zenith and GTB account statement all in a cumulative sum of about a million plus, salary payslip and my internship and offer letter.
Did not no any upfront medicals thou. Also need a work permit as my course demands that so submitted my LOA in that section as it expressed that i will need one. Was refused based on the 3 generic reasons others were writing; Based on family ties, based on purpose of visit, and current employment situation..
Meanwhile i was refused a US visa twice and i checked it while filling the form. I said i was denied a visa to US but did not state the number of times with hope they will find that out themselves and i was restricted with the number of words that can enter that space.
In summary, i intend reapplying and will need the gurus assistance. Thanks All of these and it was still a refusal? Ah Canada |

Obehi44: @Uriel12, I don't think anyone who is truly willing to help you will have a clear answer for you unless it is clear what letter you are talking about. To make things easy, kindly open the letter and screenshot the first page with the heading... Sorry, for the disturbance, I'm unable to screenshot But it's my biometric correspondence letter. How long will the review take? I checked processing times, and it's 9weeks. I haven't done my medicals tho. |
