Have you seen this sort of bloodbath on this thread before or this is the first time you are experiencing such?

Frankrobbn1:

WOW!!!!!!!! shocked cry REFUSALS ARE JUST FLOWING AROUND ON THIS THREAD shocked !!!!!. This is so disheartening cry. and I really feel for you guys. I can understand how you all would feel at this point in time, having invested your time and effort in the process. Nevertheless, the best possible way is to quickly order for your GCMS notes, defer your Admission if you feel there is limited time for you to meet up for the winter term, repackage your application immediately your GCMS notes arrives by including new documentations that will show that your current situation has substantively changed to merit a study VISA, contact any of the knowledgeable individuals on this thread to help Vet your SOP/LOE to be sure you've done the right thing and have adequately tackled the concerns raised by the visa officer in your previous application. Pray to God for grace because it can only be him, then Reapply.!

It shall end in praises.

Lol after 11 weeks of waiting. I applied from London in July. I just finished my BSc in the UK. I had a first class too. A first class in Software Engineering at 19 and I was going for an OBJECT ORIENTED SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT programme for 8 months. More like a specialised vocational training programme. Today, I got refused due to purpose of visit and immigration status. At least the torment is over... F*CK CANADA AND THEIR IMMIGRATION POLICIES! I could have sworn I had the best SOP. Why deny me for immigration status? I was on a freaking TIER 4 VISA man. This is the end of this stupid struggle for me. UK has 2 year post-study work visa. If they had implemented this since, what would I be looking for in cold deserted Canada. I won't even rant about Nigeria. It's pointless. I'd be back to the UK next year. smiley

Mr. Wayne, sorry about the outcome of your application, I was expecting yours to scale through. It is good you have other alternative. Who knows! the UK might just be the right place for you at the end.

Ghana Immigration Officers are presently in charge of processing Permanent Residency Applications for some Nigerian Applicants. They are known to be very slow in dishing out approvals and final decision cry and at same time good at requesting updated bank statements and payslips from PR applicants during VISA processing. Over the years and at the beginning part of last year, Accra VO were the ones processing study visas applications for Nigerian Applicants. Afterwards in March 2018, IRCC now handed over the power to Kenya and London VO. During this period of time in May-August 2018, London VO started facing heavy backlogs for applicants who applied via the online route, which kept so many applications for over a year. Therefore, In an attempt to reduce the workload for the London VO, In September 2018, Kenya VO was now officially crowned the prime visa office to be responsible of all temporary resident visas coming from Nigeria.

I hope this info helps. Feel free to ask me anything, and I'll answer them accordingly.

All the best

What do you mean acknowledgement letter?
From 08/26/19 - 01/10/19 ?
Please confirm that letter is not a Biometric Validation letter. If possible screenshot the heading.
Then we know how to advise

@Uriel12,
I don't think anyone who is truly willing to help you will have a clear answer for you unless it is clear what letter you are talking about. To make things easy, kindly open the letter and screenshot the first page with the heading...

Good evening e-family, it has been a rain of refusal. My application was refused September 11, I applied on the 8th of August. I have been so unhappy that's why I could not report my case on time. Something is really going wrong, what is the way forward my people.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by Mudicua: 9:09pm On Oct 01, 2019
Obehi, I am sorry to hear about this.
Inasmuch as I understand how much you wanna be approved of Visa, I also wish you did not rush this.

I totally get it being anxious and trying to correct what we think is lacking in our application, and reapplying again. I know how that is.

In all this, did you think to get GCMS note at anytime to at least get a full or better insight on why the refusal?
If no, then maybe you should especially for this last one.

In my own case, I applied and was denied within 5 weeks, and I requested for GCMS, it did not come on time though, and about a month later after my refusal I reapplied... and my GCMS notes came a week after application. I saw i missed out on some things in my new application, but i kept on hoping it was not a big deal...
But there was a key issue on my GCMS note that i noticed, which was my name not being spelt correctly (This may have caused the first refusal)
But when my application started taking too long... I became worried and following what I have read here, and advice from some great persons here, I applied for a 2nd GCMS note.
While waiting for that note, I followed a friend's advice and updated my info on the webform by doing another LOE (where i explained the discrepancies in my name the previous refusal, and how i am one and same person, and maybe that may have caused issues with background check), attaching new LOA, attaching parents info etc.
2nd GCMS came, nothing much different on why application was being delayed, but it gave insight to where it was and I used that info as well when writing to CIC.
Now while you may have done the necessary things to have a banging application, I will think that you should put yourself in the shoes of the VO, especially with regards to the timeline of your application.
1. Within the period of about 6 months you have applied 3 times, which may cause the VO to wonder if you are really honest about ypur travel intentions.
2. You said you wanna leave your 2 year old behind, while this may seem as a good home-ties, but how plausible do you think that is to the VO? Remember these are oyibos, and so put yourself in their shoes, a mom will not want to leave her 2 year old child. However if you do actually leave her back in Nigeria, what are the plans you have put in place for child care? Was that explained in your LOE? Did you show how you will maintain your bond with your child? Did you show that the education you are going for is worth more than the welfare of your child?
Inasmuch as these VOs should be objective, many of their decisions can be laced with subjectivity. This is because they are humans and also have experiences which may or may not interfere with their decision making process.

My advice...
1. I like that you said you will try other countries, please do so. It is really good and gives you the opportunity to have choices.
2. I also think you should wait awhile, defer your admission, and then try again for fall next year, but try early say from March.
3. Do not give up.

I hope you succeed in your endeavours.
Meanwhile, at the bolded below... yes oo, we de your back. grin

Good luck.

Obehi44:

Yes got refused 3rd time with this same generic reasons for late August - September.
First time personal assets and finance status. : increased money in account and added property.

2nd time Purpose of visit : wrote a 'banging SOP 2pages and LOE 3pages with the help of some grate men here. And it took about 3weeks of consistent writing, adding and subtracting.
As nothing to say again or they didn't even check the applications for this Sept at all, they now start dashing these three reasons.

Travel history: has nothing to do with a student besides my passport is not even empty.
Ties: LOL... I am married have a 2yrs old child, personal landed property, family landed properties..... I am not going with my child or spouse. Make I tell dem say Na my papa get National Stadium? Lol
Employment: Good government job with good pay, leave letter, reference letter from boss, job waiting for me, etc.
Sept 3rd - Sept 18th.
If you ask me what happened I will say nothing happened that they didn't even check the app.

Anyway, I de vex and they will meet me in Court.

Sorry about your refusal @waynee2baba.
This was my situation last year while i was in US. I was refused based on those same things.
I had to go back to naija July 2018, and I reapplied (with the hopes I will get approved before school starts in September 2018). but no they did not respond.
As such I could not start school in fall, lost out on 22k CAD scholarship and almost became depressed.
But I did not give up.

In the meantime, I deferred my admission, wrote GRE, applied to 4 US schools, got admission into 2 with funding as well, had booked US visa interview before CIC approved my application about 10 months later. Yes!! IT TOOK ALMOST 10 MONTHS TO GET FEEDBACK FROM CIC. Thankfully it was an approval. But even if it was a refusal, I was already set for the US.

So yeah, go back to Nigeria.
Reapply again if you so wish for Canada.
If not look at other options of US, Sweden, Australia or Germany.

But yeah go back home... (the decision to stay or leave the UK may make or mar your travel history)
This one year will fly by pretty fast.

Peace.
