European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: The Galacticos (Real Madrid Fans Only) by usbcable(m): 6:01pm On Mar 03, 2011
Jose Mourinho:
"Malaga are a good team. They have experienced players and a good coach. I'm practically sure they won't be relegated this year. Having won all our home games does not guarantee we'll win again on Thursday
Manuel Pellegrini had a good run in La Liga with Real Madrid last year and I expect the crowd to greet him well. The door to our dressing room is open for him."
, I talked about our schedule before we faced Deportivo, not after. I didn't look for an excuse after a negative result. We received the schedule for Week 28 yesterday and it is easy to analyse: Valencia will play in the Champions League on Wednesday and in La Liga on Saturday; Barcelona will play on Tuesday and Sunday. I shouldn't mention Valencia, but I must use examples in order to explain what people don't seem to want to realise. I apologise to Valencia for using their name. I don't want to talk about other teams any more. It is also unusual to see Malaga played on Monday and have to play again on Thursday against us. This is like feeding chocolate to people in order to trick them."

Does the above comment seem like that of somebody that has lost it? angry
www.goal.com would always qoute him out of context to make thier webpage catchy. They make up headlines that are sooo totally of what he ever ever says.
And the fact that we are yet to be eliminated from any competition proves that he had actually done better than MP(which I actually wish was allowed to stay).
This time last season we were out of copa
almost out of ucl
but just as presently was still in contention for the liga.
He's only problem is he never play-acts in front of cameras. whic stands him out of the lot. cool kiss

This is the most ''BLACKMAILEST'' on NL angry

the guy finished them all.
Fashola was the only one that was thoroughly prepared for a debate.
The closest he had was Dosunmu, and even he was fidgeting and not articulate with his thoughts and points.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: FC Barcelona Fan Thread: "Més Que Un Club" by usbcable(m): 9:04pm On Mar 02, 2011
And just so you may know,
I really think Arsenal ''most likely'' will loose the return leg.
for 1. arsenal like most of its supporters lack focus. You are discussing Ars vs Bar they start talking about Real madrids loss to Barca that they can beat Real madrid as if its Real they are facing. No wonder they loose focus every dying minutes(lyten orient/ birmingham/new castle)
for 2. The team is not @ full strenght as the first leg. Initially, I used to say last season's loss to barcelona wasnt due to absence of some players but the last match changed my view. sadly it seems its about repeating itself.
for 3. Arsenal is not a ''lucky'' team.

But as We all know,
Arsenal is the only team that can beat any club and also be beaten by any club when you least expect it.

I cannot phantom a club with so much injury prone players as Arsenal.
Why doesnt same happen with other clubs (top, middle or bottom of the table)
I think any time arsenal players play and one of them is tackled the next thing that comes to my mind is
BREAKING NEWS
cesc tooth injury grin
or
wlacott tongue injury grin
or
RVP buttocks injury grin
or
SZCZZZZZZNY skin injury grin

its only them that will always have players in their clubs hospital.
Arsene wenger needs to check his medical staff or is it scouting staff.

I wish the porr guy(RVP) quick recovery sha, I hate players getting injured be whoever they are friend , foe or none.
Sadly, the return leg will now be less interesting. huh

^^^
I take it that you are not familiar with surveys of this nature judging by your post.

Funny reasoning.
if only you read my post very well. I never condemned the survey nor did I say its false.
I only pointed to the fact that being the last name on Forbes list shows you are a big boy.
another exampl is the ranking of nigerian universities of which only unilorin was ranked amongst the best 200. Which shows that it is the best amongst its peers in Nigeria.
note also i asked(because I didn't know) if abuja or any other nigerian city was ranked. If not it means they are not even amongst the top 140. And only God knows what their number is.
Travel › Re: Lagos Ranked 4th Worst Livable City In The World 2011: D'you Agree? by usbcable(m): 12:55pm On Feb 28, 2011
the topic is far from objective and i doubt the intent of the OP.

Firstly, how many cities were surveyed and how many cities exists in the world in total.
Most definately not only 140 cities exist in the world.
And for those talking about Abuja and PH, were they included in the report at all?

If Dangote is ranked 90 something richest man in the world out of the Millions of rich people existing would you say the guy no try at all?

For lagos to even be ranked shows its amongst the best.

Walahi, I want Arsenal to win todays Carling Cup Final but must their important players always get injured.
Something is just not right about arsenal, its medical staff or their nutrition unit or maybe wenger himself.
I dont know of a team packed full with so susceptible-to-injury players.

about our game last night the ball just refused to enter the net. grin

and there is still the second leg, hopefully we will win that tie and progress to the next round.

The only complaint I have is with the officiating. It was just substandard to say the least.
Lyon played well, we could have played better. At least we got the away goal. And a draw too.

True talk if Los che and Los Blancos gets eliminated even platini will not be able to defend laliga in front of the world.
To me Valencia is likely out
Real's game is largely dependent on tomorrow
Barcelona I expect will turn things around in camp nou.

I remember me saying after the Gijon draw that playing your first squad and not getting a desired win before a european game don't paint a ''too solid picture'' for Barcelona. Now the rest is history.
today you guys face Athletic Bilbao a tough basque clubside capable of anything. Draw or loose this one( which I SERIOUSLY pray for grin) and simply kiss Laliga bye bye.

instead of saying messi lost sitters(which is abnormal) why not say the keeper sczzzzzzzzeny was good in covering the post.
what if RVP took his other chances more clinically nko?
just accept they played a better game and josep made a blunder in substitutions.
