that fourth quarter was a disaster. They lost all sense of focus on defence.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: The Galacticos (Real Madrid Fans Only) by usbcable(m): 7:32pm On Feb 13, 2011

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: The Galacticos (Real Madrid Fans Only) by usbcable(m): 6:44pm On Feb 13, 2011
Barcelona already won the first quarter by 19-17points.
God I wish to hear that a turn around happened at the final buzzle and that RM won. Its a case of experience vs youthfulness.
i want benzema, always loved the dude. And maybe both can play if we lead the game with a gd of 2.
a playoff spot will be awesome. i hope morata scores.

He i.e guardiola shoulda rested the best legs in anticipation of wednesday.
even lossing the match wont make madrid catch up, it only reduces the gap. But well if that had happened na abuse everybody go abuse the lad.
right now playing the full squad and still not winning against a gijon side dont paint a too solid picture for barca.

Just checked again
its us versus regal barcelona
they beat caja by 92-70, yesterday.
the final will be held today, by 6:00pm
I wish our boys they best of luck(we all really need it).
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: The Galacticos (Real Madrid Fans Only) by usbcable(m): 9:06am On Feb 13, 2011
^^^ we are playing either caja laboral or regal barcelona in the final.
I hope caja laboral wins. We beat them in the league unlike barcelona that beat us. Even if we dont win the final i prefer loosing to caja laboral than to barcelona. Them go yab us die. I think their match is today. Although us and barca top the acb league their stats is frightning. But sha Ettore would have learnt his lessons on that side.
BTW, whats going on in the academy, they havent played since their win over extremadura. toril is doing better with the team to me.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Espanyol Vs Real Madrid [0 -1]On Sunday Feb 13th 2010 by usbcable(m): 8:42am On Feb 13, 2011
I hope we win sha ooo.
because most of our players like barcelona were on international duty too.
at least the gap will reduce to 5 points.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Sporting De Gijon Vs Barcelona [1 - 1] On 12th February 2011 by usbcable(m): 5:08am On Feb 13, 2011
RuuDie:
& this is the difference between Barca & Real Madrid --- if it was Madrid, this probably woulda been all 3 points lost.
and if it was sevilla what would have happened? They would have been massacared, just as you could not beat a 10 man racing yesternight.europe is slipping away from your grasp you are here mocking at a club that is guaranteed of playing it already.
abegi, go back to your soliloquizing thread and leave us to worry about our problems.

BTW,
the basketball team also qualified for the finals of the copa del rey too.

I hope Mirotic continues on his good form and we win the final too.

Have u forgotten that Madrid lost to Zaragoza in this Mestella in 2004 while Barca won their 25th and 26th CDR title in 1998 and 2009 respectively, there . Judging from that line of view, we' re favourite cos the stadium favours us immensly.
hello pope johnpaul,

Sports › Re: Lagos Fans And Booing: Whats Your Take? by usbcable(m): 1:54pm On Feb 11, 2011
Those that were in the stadia that day are also mostly supporters of epl/laliga/serie A clubs and would not boo them in their viewing centres even when they get spanked, disgraced, beaten or whatever but would always try to see a brighter side to the match/or competition. The eagles played not awfully but just because sierra leonne scored the booing started.
i hope they stop bringing matches to lagos sha.
Sports › Re: Lagos Fans And Booing: Whats Your Take? by usbcable(m): 11:01pm On Feb 10, 2011
I have been praying they bring SE to lagos for a looooong time. Unfortunately I couldn't make it to the stadium was stuck in traffic from office.
i was disgusted when those unreasonable fans started booing the eagles when sierra leone scored. I literarily switched off my t.v out of anger.
now i know why the players and nff would not want matches in lagos. And i support them henceforth, if they dont again forever and ever sef.

Stealthy:
It almost looked liked a conspiracy against Barca! Messi was played the full 90 mins in a meaningless friendly even though the Portuguese kept kicking him. Milito & Masch also played 90 mins. Also, for Spain, I would have expected Del Bosque to try out fringe players, but no - he used his 1st team (of mostly Barca players) and hardly subbed.

Anyways, no wahala - no injuries as far as I know and even though we normally struggle after internationals, I expect us to win against Gijon & more importantly Arsenal.
ozil and khedira played 90 minutes
and did benzema.
So i dont know where conspiracy came into play or is it a portuguese or spaniards fault that an argentinian is left to suffer on the pitch by an argentinian for an argentinian cause. Conspiracy my ***.
Good game from both players(leo and chris), but if it were chris that scored from a spotkick na abuse una go abuse am say na penalty e dey take score. Its nice that leo is now doing better with the argies.

Whatever grin the truth is you guys are always 'stealing' our players. Di Stefano, Figo, Ronaldo. . . Even Saviola shocked You had Eto'o, you threw him out. We picked him up and made him one of the greatest strikers the world have ever seen. That's what we do - we create!
Save for serendipity, Raul would have been an Atletico player. At the end of the day, there's hardly any player you have groomed tongue
PLAYER GROOMING
Raul joined Real Madrid at the age of 17 left at 33, meaning he spent 16 solid years with us and you say we didn't groom him and please note(FYI) he spent a season with the youth team.
same goes for José María Gutiérrez Hernández
likewise the great and still agile Casillas.
Negredo
Dela red
Arbeloa
Granero
Juan Mata
we're once castilla players loaned/sold out but with a buy back option which we make use of at our convenience.
ever heard of a Getafe F.C, they are like our team B playing in the preimera liga.
And your players will continue to leave until your management changes their attitude that makes them to leave and join us. And that I see has happened with leo, xavi and iniesta which are purely catalunya citizens. so stop complaining about us using what we have to get what we want.

Do you know Luis Suarez and Quini? Luis Suarez was the 2nd player to win the Balon D' Or. Quini won the Pichichi three or four times consecutively. He is David Villa's idol. They both played for Barca.

Di Stefano, I think, also played for Barca until Franco, then Spanish dictator, somehow used his influence to bring him over to Madrid.
And Luis Suarez was actually the fifth player to win the balon D'or meanwhile The Legendary Alfredo Di Stefano was actually the second player to win as you wrongly claim. grin Gotcha again cool.
And that was after 2 real madrid players had won it including the great Alfredo. tongue

Hmm.
However, Jose has not exactly been known to be a humble coach. Must be a different feeling for him to admit that this time around, he's not that special. It's a moment to savour grin
And would you call him an arrogant personality just because he doesn't go about licking peoples asses.
And I dont remember seeing him say any where or anytime that ''he's not that special'', even his silence is seen as a special moment talkless or when he spits his lyrical wisdoms. grin
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Real Madrid Vs Real Sociedad [4 - 1] On Sunday 6th February 2010 by usbcable(m): 4:45pm On Feb 07, 2011
Johan Cruyff ? I admit great footballer of his times indeed.
European Cup Winner-------------------2
European Championship winner,------1
World Cup Runner up---------------------1
However, all three titles won as a footballer with Ajax Amsterdam and not with barcelona.
He only mustered 1 league title and and 1 CDR with barca.
Now check for Alfred while he played for Real Madrid;
Laliga-------------------------8
CDR---------------------------1
European Cup--------------5(note;the five was won back to back)

Now who achieved more playing for their respective clubs. Cruyff attained a legend status not as a player but as Bracelona manager. Even at that Di Stefano beat him at it.

BTW you mentioned the most ballon D'or I give it to barcelona who have 8 as against 5 from real madrid and that shows we are not lagging behind to far in that respect.
