Spurs is out. If they had anything to do, why didn't they do it at the Bernabeu?
I hope so.
But am even more concerned with our yellow card backlogs. This yeye cockrels can incite anger making us get booked. Thus we may have some players not available for the semis.

Politics › Gej Is A Man Of His Words. by usbcable(op): 10:27am On Apr 10, 2011
in less than 10 months as president GEJ was able to organise a credible and satisfactory electiong for Nigeria unlike former dictator Buhari that had 20 months and yet no sign of an election was being put in place.
this shows the credibility of GEJ as standing by his promises. He listens to the masses call and his in tune with modern ways of governance.

GEJ will surely deliver on his other promises with what is being witnessed in the elections and the judiciary.

In as much as Tinubu is a Political godfather mentor, he is way ahead and I mean way way better in reasoning than the likes of OBJ and Saraki.

I just hope he stays around longer so as to be able to checkmate the evil of PDP in the SW.

Politics › Re: Why You'll Never Vote For Muhammadu Buhari? by usbcable(m): 9:06am On Apr 05, 2011
another reason

the thrust of his popularity is not on his competence
but on religion
SHARIA for the northerners
and pastor BAKARE for the southerners

he had tried twice and no one saw him as being a competent replacement for the presidential role so why is he now a competent person

RELIGION is a BIG problem for us in NIGERIA
it blinds us from all forms of reasoning

My take is this (concerning the tv deals)

Real Madrid and barcelona are way ahead of the rest of them.

For them to perform better they need better endorsements as well, sponsorships.

If the tv rights is improved may be more FDI would come in to make clubs like valencia and villareal stronger.

Laliga is not as competitive as Epl yet all the records the best coach on planet earth had accrued over the time in different leagues have disappeared.if the special one had an inkling that it was gonna be this tough,he would not have dreamt of coming to laliga.he has never taken 5 and Barca gave him manita,he has not lost a home game in any league for 9 years, and sporting Gijon destroyed that wonderful record,he has won the league in his first year for his previous clubs, and even though laliga is not over yet mathematically,i bet you will never day dream of winning the trophy when you have Almighty Barca 8points ahead of your team with less than nine games to play for.i know he will be looking for an exit route now, besides [s]Perez will not spare him if he fails to deliver CL or kings cup this season.[/s]Mau is a very wonderful coach, but laliga is teaching him how to be humble.

Spurs also have their injury worries too.

But I suspect both coaches are playing mind games with the hospital ward list @ their disposal.

Politics › Re: 234next - The Opposition’s Strategic Mistake by usbcable(m): 12:53pm On Apr 04, 2011
I personnally wished to see all candidates at the same to see their perfomance.

on the NN24 debate only shekarau impressed and funny enough non of my ''BB-throthing'' friends refused to support him rather still wanting to support a buhari that performed least amongst the three.

Debating with GEJ would have given them the opportunity to show they were better or worse off.

and their absence made GEJ king since in a one man contest you are never the looser.
Music/Radio › Re: D Banj & Snoop Vs Sound Sultan & Wyclef by usbcable(m): 12:17pm On Apr 04, 2011
The D'banj/Snoop remix like most of Mo'hits songs is filled with utter crap as lyrics.
Sound Sultan/wyclef as most of his songs has lyrics that makes sense and inspires.

D/S had more effects with the video(time factor)

S/W had more than a collabo, they've done shows together.

Its just same of same
D/S are both bling bling, jinja jinja, women and sex artist so they made a fit in the song in terms of what they usually sing about
Same applies to S/W who do inspirational tracks more often.

its all about taste.
So I choose S/W.
D/s will always have the effects sha.

Politics › Re: Why Do You Support Goodluck Jonathan For President? by usbcable(m): 11:48am On Apr 04, 2011
I support GEJ because
He has shown prospects of someone that is different from the rest of the pack.
He is putiing in place measures and policies that will make things work for the better sooner or later.

in his 9 months tenure the power reform programme is being commended
in his 9 months tenure the petroleum bill is also seeing the light of the day
in his 9 months tenure there has been no incidence of fuels scarcity for days
in his 9 months tenure NEPA is improving(although lots more needs to be done)
in his 9 months tenure the judiciary is florishing
in his 9 months tenure INEC is having its longest and greatest stretch of non-interference
in his 9 months tenure Journalist can harras and abuse the government and no SSS picks them up for that(unlike some General)
in his 9 months tenure the international community recons with us better
in his 9 months tenure our ratings with respect to airways and related matters has improved
in his 9 months tenure the police pay and emoluments is better(their orrientations however needs to be worked on)

The only problem that is making matters hard for Jonathan is the PDP and the stupidity of his wife speaking horrendous ''engrish'' all around the country tarnishing GEJ's image in the process. angry

I will vote for him as I did Fashola 4 years ago with the same belief of him performing and am sure GEJ wont dissappoint
wink

How on earth could GEJ have had any other option? In fact if GEJ had tried to insist on the election for tomorrow, PDP would be given the BON debate treatment, shikena.
but you still need to commend him for non inteference. And Buhari's military training and countenance will always make him a adamant ''allknowing'' leader ruler

This is another sign of how GEJ does not interfere with judicial or election matters.
would buhari have allowed this?
mba.
Folks wont see anything but the negatives of GEJ. i dislike PDP but GEJ is a better option than a Buhari that ruled supreme without recourse to masses opinion in his 20 month stint @ presidency.
Politics › Re: NL Official Presidential Opinion Poll by usbcable(m): 3:18pm On Apr 03, 2011
In terms of intelligence,
would you rate a Buhari higher than GEJ
In terms of tolerance to the media and journalist
GEJ is still a better candidate
In terms of policies already put in place or infrastructure
Buhari isnt better than a GEJ
the only thing Buhari beats GEJ in is religiousity and thats whats being feed to so many religiously gullible Nigerians via tunde bakare(south) and sharia(north)
Politics › Re: What Hasn't GEJ Done In 10 Months Of Being The President. by usbcable(m): 5:24am On Apr 03, 2011
If there was a swap
buhari contesting for presidency under PDP will most of buhari supporters vote for him
I answer yes. Because they will say the individual is different from the party. But ask them to apply same rule to GEJ they will say its totally different.

All they pinpoint as Buhari's 20 month achievement is his brutal, dictatorial, gangster like rulership they term WAI. No wonder his stupidity cost him his presidency, simply because he could rule except with Idiagbons presence.

and he tried twice and twice he failed and twice no one saw him(in southern Nigeria) as messiah and twice no one stood up to fight for him politically or judicially but now he used the same principle he had applied to northern Nigeria i.e. religion by appointing a popular Bakare he is now Jesus christ re-incarnate.
Religious bigotry is the crux of the BB ticket and nothing less or more.

and has anyone of his supporters asked,
why is there no public figure past or present (activist/polician/critic/musician) coming out to openly declare support for him.
at least we know what soyinka thinks of him, what Fela sings of him, what Tinubu talks of him, what journalists know of him. Please mention credible people supporting him.
Its only on NL you see people wanting him simply because they dont want PDP but I say his period would usher in uncertainty and fear unrestricted.
