•One of my personal favorite is the marriage contract where women are allowed to stipulate rules such as if a divorce was to take place, the man will give her X amount of his wealth, or he would give her certain monthly allowance or not marry a second wife whilst being married to her.

Last week, I was at Enugu for a wedding and wanted to buy something worth of N65,000 from market. I went to use my Ecobank ATM card on Union Bank ATM along Ziks Avenue. I withdrew N20,000 three times i.e. N60,000 and put it in my bag. On getting to the seller, I removed N5,000 from my wallet and added to the money I withdrew from ATM. After counting the money twice in my presence, he said that the money is N62,000. I counted it back myself and it was short of N3,000. I searched my bag again and nothing was left inside

I was sure of the N5,000 from my wallet, and so definitely the shortage was from the ATM. Having withdrawn three times and having a shortage of N3,000, It therefore means that I was paid N19,000 on every N20,000 withdrawn.

I couldn’t go back to the bank for complaint since it was ATM transaction and I have never experienced such.

Na so I lost N3k for this hardship

You can get your money back if you're sure it's from the ATM. Happen once when I asked a colleague to withdraw for me. Attempted to withdraw 100k (40,40 and 20), got less than 50k in total. Went to the bank, explained in detail to them and I was refunded.

Brothers and sisters in Islam, did you know that the Qur’aan commanded the believers to establish regular Salaah without describing how Salaah should be performed?

We only learn how to perform Salaah from the Sunnah of the Prophet SAW. Refer to Sahih Al-Bukhari, Arabic-English page 345, number 604: sunnah abu Dawoud vol 1 page 194 no 754.

If one doubts the Hadith of the Prophet SAW, how does one intend to fulfill his Salaah?

Allah the Exalted said,
Surah Al-Hashr, Verse 7:
وَمَا آتَاكُمُ الرَّسُولُ فَخُذُوهُ وَمَا نَهَاكُمْ عَنْهُ فَانتَهُوا وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ شَدِيدُ الْعِقَابِ

And whatever the Apostle gives you, accept it, and from whatever he forbids you, keep back, and be careful of (your duty to) Allah; surely Allah is severe in retributing (evil):

meaning, `whatever the Messenger commands
you, then do it and whatever he forbids you, then
avoid it. Surely, He only commands righteousness
and forbids evil.' see tafseer by Ibn Katheer

Then Allah says:
Surah An-Nahl, Verse 44:
... وَأَنزَلْنَا إِلَيْكَ الذِّكْرَ
And We have also revealed the Dhikr to you,

meaning the Qur'an,

... لِتُبَيِّنَ لِلنَّاسِ مَا نُزِّلَ إِلَيْهِمْ

so that you may clearly explain to men what was
revealed to them,

meaning, sent down from their Lord, because you
know the meaning of what Allah has revealed to
you, and because of your understanding and
adherence to it, and because We know that you
are the best of creation and the leader of the
Children of Adam. So that you may explain in
detail what has been mentioned in brief, and
explain what is not clear.

...وَلَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ

so that perhaps they may reflect.

meaning, they should examine themselves and be
guided by it, so that they may attain the victory
of salvation in this world and the next. Refer to tafseer by Ibn Katheer.

Brothers and sisters in Islam, please refer to Surah Al-Anfal, Verse 20:
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ وَلَا تَوَلَّوْا عَنْهُ وَأَنتُمْ تَسْمَعُونَ

O you who believe! obey Allah and His Apostle and do not turn back from Him while you hear.

We are expected to obey the Prophet SAW as instructed by Allah in the above verse. How do we do that if we don't follow the Hadith of the rasul SAW?

Please know that the Hadith (authentic) does not contradict the Quran in anyway.

How do we interpret the Quran if we do not believe the Hadith?

Who's in the best position to explain the Quran if not the one who brought it?

What new evidence can one possibly have that supersedes the sayings of the Prophet SAW and the views of the ulamah?

We need to remind ourselves that the Prophet SAW must be followed hook, line and sinker if we're true Muslims and want to be saved in the hereafter, else we risk being categorised as the "most wicked of creatures" (see the tafseer by Ibn Katheer of the verse quoted above).

Everything he says is correct and divine. See

Surah An-Najm, Verse 3:
وَمَا يَنطِقُ عَنِ الْهَوَىٰ

Nor does he speak out of desire.

About illiteracy, most of the kids at my ppa in Imo state where I served, didn't understand English language. It doesn't give me any reason to generalize and call all Imo indigenes illiterates. That would be a big, fat lie .

Kano- like any other state, has a distinct culture.
