I watched the video of the apology. It was made because many of us were accusing him of insulting the prophet, so he clarified it and apologized to those who felt offended.

Also, the debate was more of a Q and A session. They asked him to open the pages of all the false hadiths he mentioned in 10 minutes and he was unable to do so.

I'm asking this question because of the videos of an Islamic scholar, Sheikh Abduljabbar that I came across last week. He made some points about the hadiths being unreliable and even gave some proofs (which I extensively made a research on and found 90% to be true) and challenged northern scholars to prove him wrong or debate with him. So far, none of them has stepped forward to do so even though they have been condemning and cursing him. In fact, he was kicked out of Kano and barred from holding lectures.

That is why I always tell industry captains, please make sure you take and put your staff welfare as number 1. Give them the best salary packages so they would not be compromised.

Honestly, this was d silliest question in that exam (and even in the history of English questions ever asked)... Who rejects a glass of water?
Anyway, based on the logic i recall being taught yrs ago, I chose "yes, I would".

ABOUT LAST GRADUATE TRAINEE RECRUITMENT

The application came out in 2012 and prospective applicants applied for Graduate Trainee. In 2013, applicants were told to update their details. In 2014, applicants wrote their aptitude tests in different centres across the nation. Many people travelled from overseas to write the exam in Nigeria as there was no abroad centre, unlike NLNG. In February 2015, interview success emails flew in. And up till this moment, there were no interviews. The recruitment has now been cancelled officially with this new application. I hope this application does not follow the same route.

FOR THE UNDERGRADUATE CATEGORY APPLICATION:

The PTDF UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP Team lacks organization and proper management, and i doubt if they actually contact or notify applicants by sms or Mail....for their test.

I was a Former Beneficiary, ( 1st set of PTDF scholars, FUTO OWERRI) , and from my personal experience back in school, we were not contacted by mail or sms.....They only pasted the list of invited candidates for the test ...at front of our Deans Office.

All the applicants in my school that year almost missed the test....

I was returning from a fellowship program on a friday evening and decided to go withdraw money at d ATM point ...close to our Deans office, (Former SEET Head )....only to go through the wall and saw a list.....captioned "INVITATION FOR PTDF SCHOLARSHIP TEST"

funny enough, the test date was scheduled to take place the next morning ....i had to pick up my pen and wrote down all the names on the list with their phone numbers and started calling everyone ....

we were 14 invitees on the list , but i was only able to reach out 13 .


so 13 of us finally wrote d test d next morning without any preparation, and 12 of us finally got it. ....

That was how God used me that very evening to save 13 of us from missing the test and scholarship.


i don't know if PTDF Local Scholarship Team has improved their feedback mechanism by now.....

but here are my advise,

1) keep checking your Deans Office, for any notice, and keep in touch with other applicants in your Dept and school.

2) Find out the PTDF cordinator in your school, usually a Prof or HOD's of any of the PTDF target departments.... and once in a while ...visit his/her office to make enquiries.

3) Look out for and connect with existing Beneficiaries in your school. ( you may be surprised to know there are many existing beneficiaries in your Dept.)


4) keep checking the website....for any update..





But , i think , they should have improved by now, you may be contacted directly by PTDF via sms or mail if invited...

I think they pay tuition fees themselves, and pay you the stipend and other allowances in two installments.
I.e if your monthly stipend as an MSC scholar is £1,150 per month, they Will give you £6,900 first payment to cover first 6 months and the so also the next payment.Though a current scholar told me this, I stand to be corrected.

I was also an undergraduate beneficiary , our school they paid us roughly 1 million in two installments but no laptops.

I also had that they have started contacting Batch B for mendical. But one thing i dont know is that, who is now responsible for the mendical test and diagnolysis, cos federal hospitals are on strike since April 18.

I'm good with words, but I still dunno how to go about this.
I'm a struggling undergraduate with minimal financial help from home, this means I have to struggle a lot, and spend only when necessary. Things have gotten worse by the day, and today I woke up with nothing to eat, cannot even go to church because there is practically nothing to live on this week.
I'm in dire need of help from well meaning people, don't know how much longer I can hold on.
