Obasanjor an ex-military president who took over power from a military head of state. It would be unreasonable to expect him to be a perfect democrat. But then he handed over power to an educationist, a Yaradua, who was later succeeded by a Jonathan. Democratic ideals were gradually gaining ground. Elections were gradually becoming free and fair. A card reader was introduced to authenticate voters. An incumbent president lost and conceded defeat while votes were still being tallied. It was a moment of pride for a nation exhibiting maturity.
Power was handed over to a Buhari who made several bogus pre-election promises, including a zero tolerance for corruption, dispensing fuel at 40 naira per litre, constructing more refineries, massive infrastructural development, a dollar exchanging for one dollar amongst others. Today, almost 4 years after assuming office, nothing tangible is being done, except massive borrowing, plunging the country in debts which can't be repaid in the next 20 years, and the same pre-election slogans of PDP being corrupt and milking the country dry. But meanwhile, these "so called corrupt" PDP members are being wooed day and nights with corruption -induced offers, to defect to the APC.
If you all are asleep to the reality of things, you better wake up. APC does not have our interest at heart. It is mainly concerned about power and control of resources.
Their ineffectiveness stinks a million miles away. I would rather vote for a PDP which has learnt its lessons than for an APC which is not even willing to learn at all...

16years after nothing tangible was also offer.vote ur PDP and we should vote our APC, every person with is choice.

Nigerians pls take heed with apc and this goverment. It's not about politics now it's about truth. This 0eople don't know what they are doing. Jonathan was right. They are desperate power seekers they just want to be told what they want to hear. Anyone who contradicts them is instantly place in a box as oppositions. Worst part is that they keep forcing you to see what the goverment has not done. Look around and tell yourself. Is this really a goverment? Now Mr president is in China to beg for money. To implement on this kind of economy that one of the best mind our there has giving a no good verdict. Nigerians should not expect anything from all this apc movements. They are only trying to bury us.

Anyone still playing this kind of local politics should really question his own education. It's not about them now. It's about you.

This is a sign that he has life in him. Leaders with life are always active, proactive and reactive. They're humanitarian in nature. Just look at the picture deeply. Without deceiving yourself, this is the only contestant from PDP that fills the void of youthfulness in Nigeria politics. He's bold, smart, vibrant, clever, brave, learned, calculative, innovative, managerial, economical, insightful, brilliant and intelligent. Humane youths love him because of the leadership spirit that abides in him. I'm a youth and I am not confused. Never in this life will I vote in a 77-year old illiterate into office. This is 21st century. Wise up please. We're not Northern illiterates. We are civilized Western people. Let's behave as such. How many times have you sat down to find out what the media doesn't want you to know about Saraki? There's something special about this man. His senatorial performance is a verifiable proof.
