From my observation, i have concluded that the main cause of misfortune on this thread stems from the urge to bet everyday. This accounts for about 57% of my analysis below which summarizes the reasons for losses on the thread as follows:

1. Lack of betting strategy due to the urge to play everyday. Mastery and a strict adherence to a particular style of staking may not allow u stake everyday.

2. Lack of favorite gambling teams. This again is due to the urge to play everyday. A short choice of particular teams to always stake on may not agree with the everyday playing urge here.

3. Lack of favorite leagues which exhibits certain characteristics. This again is due to the urge to play everyday as a favorite league may not have matches everyday.

4. Emotional imbalance due to urgent need for cash. U need a clear head most times to pick winners

6.lack of expertise in a particular market. I have seen folks here jump from the draw market to to corner etc.

7. Lack of analysis of games between two teams. If team A and team B are playing , a quick research of games history may show that team A has lost to team B 7 times out of 8 games in total. However u would still see people here who would pick team A as straight win.

8. Chasing away of older and more experienced punters due to occasional childish banter and insults.
