I don't have a travel history. I submitted financials in excess of the school's amount, drafted a good SOP, submitted all the IMM forms, did upfront medicals, submitted landed documents in my name. How do I tackle this please?

Applied for a one year Masters of Public health at University of Western Ontario. I had some huge funds hit my account at around the time I applied because I sell cars on side and I failed to include a letter of explanation for the source of funds!

Hi, My review eligibility status has changed to "we are reviewing". This is the 6th week since I submitted my application and the visa processing time at the time of submission was estimated at 7weeks. Will I be expecting a response from them soon? I applied 27th of April. I did upfront medicals too. I am a Pharmacist and got admitted for a masters in public health at the University of Western Ontario (a top school in Canada). What is the review eligibility process about?

I did upfront medical and submitted my application online on April 13. No updates yet aside from Biometrics showing "Completed".
I am worried about the strange circumstance of my case. I also applied to school in Alberta province. I decree and tap from your good report this day in Jesus name... Amen

There's no problem with your biometrics.

it's a common trend now that paper route applicants do not get biometrics completed till the visa is being approved. I'm in that shoe now alongside lots of other people.

Same here! I am really confused about what to do! I can't teach the VO his/her job. Maybe I should hang on a bit to see if all of these will be updated in a day or two! How long did it take before your biometrics was updated? How about the timeline before your review eligibility and background check status were updated?

Although my elder brother is a Canadian citizen, my Immediate jnr has 3 years multiple visa but hasn't even used it because he resides in Australia & my mum also has a super visa from Canada and goes to visit from time to time and I provided their details because I used the old family information form for my application

Hi, this is the 5th week since I applied for my study permit! As at the time that I put in my application, the estimated processing time as stated in CIC site was 7weeks! I submitted via the paper route and even did my biometrics same day but it still hasn't been updated as completed. Eligibility review hasn't even commenced. The only thing that was updated on my page about 2weeks ago was my upfront medical report, which shows "passed medicals"! Is this slow normal? I submitted my application on the 27th of April, and my estimated time for a response is 15th June. I got admitted for a one year Masters of Public health at University of Western Ontario which is a highly ranked school in Canada and I am a Pharmacist.

Note: My school resumes 2nd September!

I would not bother myself much if i were you. I mean, you submitted your application already, except you are willing to cancel the application.

But like you said, having an amount come into an account that has alot of money in it already should not be a problem. Except your work doesn't have anyway of making such at once. I don't see any major problem, if you had not submitted, maybe an explanation would have made it easier but you have.lol so we move!!!

Once you can explain the source or reason for the lump sum deposit you will be fine. Also, make sure you have enough funds in your account for the duration of your program(especially if you are sponsoring yourself), but if you have a sponsor then the sponsor can provide funds for the first year of the program then showhis source of funds and how he/she hope to provide funds for your subsequent years(i.e if your course is more than a year)

I am sponsoring some, while my co-sponsor, my mum stated on the letter that she will be providing funds for any deficit that arises as shown on her statement, pension statement, landed property etc. My SOA can comfortably take care of my tuition. I just had plenty of monies tied out and couldn't mop up my funds so I had to use my mum to stand in as a co-sponsor. It's a one year masters in public health with a tuition of C$55k.
Besides, I have already submitted my application o. Is it possible to still add documents like an LOE to an already submitted application?

If let say the highest amount that has entered your account at a go is #500k/month then all of a sudden #10million entered towards your application date, that is lump sum. The only way to make it pass is for you to explain the source of the money. If the huge amount is from your sponsor, you and your sponsor should state it in your SOP and LETTER OF SUPPORT respectively.

The account is very busy. Infact the statement was about 30pages. On the same soa, there is even a lump sum deposit if 2.4m in January.

3 months soa isn't bad(though cic requested for 4-6months). As for the upfront medical you also don't have any problem as well, infact it will hasten the process for you

Thanks bro, although my SOA was 4months, my mum's was about 3mnths. But I am just worried about a 2.5m lodgement that was made in my account, few days to application submission. A client paid for a car into one of my accounts, although I have an account in tens of millions with no large cash lodgement, my other bank statement which I presented had a large cash lodgement. Even though my co-sponsor my mum has more than enough in cash and assets, and an official document showing that I am her next of kin, I am just worried about the VO thinking it was a fraudulent lump sum deposit. Do you have any idea whether it will be a problem or not?
