PoliticsRe: Senate, House Of Reps Pass Bill Re-Introducing 'Park And Pay' In Abuja by uyplus(m): 10:04pm On May 24, 2019

There is park and pay service abroad, so quit whining.

It's safer coz you pay people to watch over your vehicle and it'll hardly be stolen thereby creating more employment opportunities.

Think!
You are downright silly! Your government is yet to sponsor bills for execution of corrupt government officials, it's park and pay that they care more about right? They are more concerned about opening a fulani radio station with government money. Aren't there other tribes in Nigeria? Why should a government specifically open a radio station for a tribe that doesn't even boast of accounting for 1% of the national population? For your information, park and pay services abroad start counting from 30mins. It means, if I park at a spot where people pay to park, and I leave my car with the caution lights in less than 10mins, my car won't be tagged!

They keep making the mistake of grouping Benue, Kaduna, Nasarawa, Plateau, Kogi, Kwara etc as North. Buhari has lost goodwill in Kano, Zamfara, Borno. Kwankwaso will split his vote. Kano indigenes are all surprised that nothing was done to ganduje. I wonder how he'll get votes from the Shi'ite population in Nigeria. Buhari can't win 2019 election. It's impossible! Unlike 2015, when he had block votes from the North, he can't get that now! He won over the Southwest both Christians and Muslims votes for him enmasse. The Southwest Christians voted because of Osibanjo, now both have messed up big time. Look at the level of nepotism. Plus the president is so daft! He lacks intelligence! Very daft! The integrity story has been debunked after his 25 years old unemployed son crashed 100m bikes. How will Nigerians vote a president who goes abroad for medical treatment, whereas hospitals in his country are dysfunctional. How much has been spent on his health still remains a secret, and anybody can claim any amount! That's a conduit to loot us dry!

Online is currently attending to June while paper is attending to August applicant, but these statistics don't work if God is with your application, you can decide for yourself.
Not so true tho. The only naija lady in my program was June, and she got her TRV last week of August. I even know an online applicant for August who got his application approved before his program started in September. Anyway, it all depends on the VO that handles the application. Like you have rightly said, paper route is the best for Najia. You know the outcome of your application within 3 to 4 weeks, medical mail or refusal mail!

I am surprised McGill even accepted such a person. What a mistake. I have lived in the so called greatest and richest and freest nation in the world, the United States. For 18 years of my life. I do love Nigeria. The food, the culture of hospitality and respect and rich community life, you will never find in the so called advanced nations. The huge reservoir of Human Resources, all the talents here, the rich endowment from God and how all these can be harnessed into the making of a truly great nation, is up to us. I use to be so blind like this guy. It took me living in another man’s land for many years and returning to mine to truly understand the depth and height and width and length of what a truly great nation Nigeria is. I have vowed wherever in the world I go henceforth, I must return to Nigeria and never stay long away from it like I did before. I have been the happiest and freest here because this is home. It’s not a shithole. The bad things in Nigeria that I see, have embued me with moral strength to help change things and develop my country and help make it a better place to live.
You lived in the US for 18years of your life? Great to know! You have been claiming to be waiting for a visa since time immemorial. For your information, I just boarded the aircraft to leave Nigeria enroute to Toronto! Do you realize that I don't even care to know you? I have never reached out to you on this forum! You claim to know it all yet you are still lieing around that the visa officer are fighting you! You were issued an inadmissibility letter, so stop fooling around! Go and tell the admission people that I shouldn't have been awarded admission and also tell the visa officer that I shouldn't have been issued a study permit!

What drove to the bolded statement? If McGill made a mistake on accepting him, then inform them about it or better still correct it yourself. Since you seem to know very well more than the university and visa officers that granted him visa. The young man has poured out his heart about the wrong deeds in this country and further used a Lebanese man as a clear case study. The word "shithole", I personally don't acquiesce with it and I have cautioned him. But seriously, the above statement looks so impractical of you and doesn't potray you in unequivocal view. Moreover, it's not all comment you see here you must respond to or drag attention. You talk as if you will truly return to Nigeria after studies in Canada, Fine!. I refer you as an "Attorney" because you're born of knowledge and persistence purpose. So, let's go with that narrative. The young man has secured his TRV and nobody can change it. Let him be and let's face what brought us here.
God bless you richly! I found a brother in you within a short time of meeting you. You have such a large heart and God in his infinite goodness will bless you richly! You really helped me a great deal! The advices you gave were amazing man! @jnyuwa keep fooling around. You claim to have lived in the US for 18 years yet you are here claiming to pursue student visa. I won't join words with you cause I have read through most of your comments and they tell alot about you!

While I admit with your submission that Nigeria is a shithole country, I will advice you to not for once think that Canada is an eldorado. I have lived in the United States, and have visited many European countries, i can say that most Nigerians with the kind of mentality that you have end up being not only disappointed in their expectations but utter failures.
Utter failure? I see! Stay tuned man! Just as our faces are different so are our destinies! The same USA you claim you have lived, there are people who came in and stayed for a shorter time than you but can buy off your net worth without battering an eyelid! Visitor patriot! Ajala travel the world. You agree with my comment about Nigerian being a shithole, but go on to fault my logic, you are confused man! If you wanna be patriotic, be it and don't waiver with all these sad failure stories and negative vibes, ok! I have highly successful friends doing legit businesses in Canada just as there are many highly successful people doing business here too!
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by uyplus(m): 8:22pm On Sep 05, 2018
My brothers, sorry I hurt people's feelings with my shithole rhetoric. But in the real sense, is this country moving forward? If Nigeria is so good, why aren't we queuing to pursue degrees in UNN, UNICAL, UNILAG et al? Why are consultant doctors and health professionals of allied sciences leaving in their droves? We're still having the same old sets of cargoes want to rule us again. We are deeply divided on ethnoreligious lines. We scream that Nigeria is home, but is Nigeria truly home? Can an Ibo man fearlessly build a house in Kano without worrying about ethnoreligious fights? Yes, it's true you'll miss the culture, but there's simply more to life than just the people!
The other day in Abuja, a Lebanese man slapped a Nigerian man, and called the cops on him and the Nigerian was malhandled by the cops on the order of the Lebanese! Is that normal? A Lebanese man beat up a pregnant staff and she got a miscarriage, guess what, the police still detained the woman on the orders of a foreign national!
A sibling who had a first class in Engineering, and distinction in two masters degree all from overseas came home and looked for job but couldn't find any until God opened the way for him and he relocated. He was simply rejected at home, and you expect him to be proud of his roots tomorrow? On many occasions, 3rd class graduates who had connections were chosen over him, and we expect this country to work?
Look at our current president, is he intelligent enough to pilot the affairs of this country? 2019, people will queue up for 1k. Some people are earning 18k as salary! Is this a country? Nepotism, tribalism are all forms of racism!

Good day all. My application (Online) of June 13th is 11 weeks and a day old and have exceeded the current PT. Both review of eligibility started and medical changed to passed on the 9th August. Though I later got medical Request on 15th (I did upfront medical and submitted along my app). I sent the Medical Slip and was updated to pass "again" on 17th. On the 24th of August. I sent mail to Lagos, Accra, London, Nairobi and used the Web form. Still no notification and response. Now I wanna do them another mail. I need your candid advise.
Thanks in anticipation.
When is your school resuming? You aren't alone tho. There are many June applicants who have even undergone a medical examination as requested by IRCC and are yet to receive a final decision! I submitted my application on the same date as yours via paper route, medical mail dropped on 2nd August, medicals done on 6th August, updated to pass on 10th August and since then the wait has been eternal! Sent alot of Case's and still no update about final approval! Please feel free to send your CSE and remain hopeful that you won't miss out on the school's resumption date.
PoliticsRe: Managing Resources Better Will Move Nigeria Forward - VP Osinbajo by uyplus(m): 5:50pm On Aug 28, 2018
Restructuring is one step in the right direction! Every Nigerian state should be a federating unit! It's as simple as that! Decentralise power to the states and watch how people will start holding their governors responsible. When that happens, stupid leaders like Yahaya Bello won't be banking in federal might to win an election, neither will an Akpabio be banking on federal powers to hijack party apparatus! If a state governor chooses to use state resources to sponsor people for Hajj, good and fine! Every state should be productive and contribute a percentage of their earnings to the central government.

If you’re looking forward to a course based Masters, you could check
University of Ottawa
Queens University
Make use of Google to get more schools and also have an idea of the fees.
Note: 1 year masters programs generally cost more annually compared to 2 years in which the cost is split between both years. i.e. for example one year may cost a sum of $30,000 CAD whereas a 2 years would cost about $40,000 but $20,000 each year.
With a 2 years masters programme, you get to qualify for 3 years PGWP
But with 1 year master programme you are qualified for only a year PGWP.
Choice is yours. Good luck.
Really? Hmmmmmmm! So no hope of PR post graduation. Makes no sense tho.

These are the sets of people that have made this study permit process cumbersome and unfairly difficult for genuine applicants from Nigeria simply because of their ingenuity. If you lack the funds to pursue Canadian education, stay back! It's as basic as that! I wonder how the mods of this highly informative forum will allow this slide! So when you eventually get to Canada how do you intend to fund your fees? It'll mean that you may have to break immigration laws by absconding from school, thus messing up the ladder for present and future genuine applicants!
